French league has been much competitive, PSG has failed to utilize their chances of winning their last and that has placed them in a jeopardy where they have to work harder to maintain their chances of being at the top.

the league is competitive because PSG are losing points in a lot of games with different circumstances, if they kept their form which they started with no one could be able to compete with, also even with them being so close in points with Lens and Marseille they are still way favorite than both of them to win the league.

I wouldn't agree more. PSG results in Ligue 1 are normal but quite frustrating since Lens and Marseille are close to them.
Losing Ligue 1 title might end his carrier with the team and I am almost sure he will not continue with them next year if he lose in Champions League games against Bayern.
The ridiculous point is that both teams are wasting victories vs easier teams in their domestic league...

Maybe psg is not doing well this year but i think the other clubs haven't the required potential to get the league 1 trophy, pag remind me of Bayern this year they are having the same situation but the other clubs still very weak and can't really take the trophy from them, it's just a matter of time and they will both recover their level in my opinion

PSG will likely fire Galtier if they fail to win the Ligue 1 title. However, PSG's main target is the Champions League. If PSG is able to play well by playing champions, then maybe PSG will keep Galtier as coach. And they will try to make the party stronger. Even if PSG can't play well in Ligue 1, they have the potential to play well in Champions League. Because their opponents Bayern Munich are not in good form. They have drawn in the last three matches. So if PSG's three attacking players can play well then they can win against Bayern Munich.

PSG in general still has time and everything to improve everything that is still lacking or fix a number of things that can have a good effect on their appearance in the next match. And I think it really needs to be done by PSG before they compete in the Champions League because the matches for the Champions League are no longer long apart from having to stay focused on Ligue1 this season.

The point gap that is no longer far from Lens can actually provide a pretty strong warning for PSG in terms of improving so that Lens doesn't have the chance to sit in first place in Ligue1 this season. Because Lens is also trying its best to be able to shift PSG, which is still in first place in Ligue1.

They missed a golden opportunity to run away from their closest followers.This also shows that the pressure is all building up on them during such time and their consistency has been lost,in fact they have a lot of draws and a lost game against Lens recently which says a lot about them lately.If this was not enough,the pressure is even bigger for the upcoming encounter in the Champions League,they have Champions League as their primary objective and a lot of fans are waiting a lot from them here,if they miss to go forward in the Champions League then the pressure in the Ligue 1 will even go up further.

They're not worried about the league. Their rivals are just as inconsistent, and they can even afford to drop to second or third place for a while. In fact, that might actually give them some more "motivation" to gain victories to eventually win.

It's definitely the Champions League they'll feel the pressure. One last season with Messi magic it seems, so that's the only they need to capture and Messi will be motivated for.

The real question for me, because PSG talk is boring, is can Marseille or even Monaco do enough to try and snatch this title? Lens, forget about it. You can't win the league with crossing as your main tactic, so if they stay in place end of the season for Champions League, it'll be interesting to see if they try something different.

I can't say who was the luckiest this week. Because there is no change in the position of the standings as well as the distance between their points. If I say Paris Saint Germain is lucky because Lens can't win this week, and Lens is the same, they are lucky because Paris Saint Germain was thwarted by Reims, which in strength they should have been able to win. Likewise with Marseille and Monaco which have the same position that has not changed at all.
Paris Saint Germain looks unstable now, no matter how good the players they have, but when bad luck comes to them, The Parisian can't do anything.

First of all, I think the red card of Marco Verratti could easily have been avoided. Secondly, I think that there are a lot of problems in the defense of PSG. There certainly need to do better in terms of defense. There is always one player open for a through ball. And if it was not for Gianluigi Donnarumma, PSG could have actually lost this match. We all saw how busy the PSG goalkeeper was in this match. But in the end, it was a big mistake made by PSG at the end of the match which cost them two points. And it is true, they do look unstable now.

Indeed, Verratti's red card seemed unnecessary because it was still not threatening but indeed this was one of the losses and they drew again. Fortunately their current closest rival Lens also did not play well in their match this time.
Their scheme is still quite good, their ball control is also very good but not very useful indeed with their condition which is still a little difficult from the current finishing even though their players can be said to be fit as a whole.

Paris Saint-Germain make competition in the Ligue 1 French even more competitive
Fan enthusiasm has also increased after seeing the point difference in the current standings, many want to see how the two PSG and Lens teams complete the challenge towards the end of the season. @X-ray I believe that they should now start to bounce back, because it’ll be really embarrassing if they end up losing the league title to Lens. Furthermore I’m also starting to wonder if their decision to hire Galtier was the right one?, and if PSG soon doesn’t start winning matches then he could end up being sacked even before the season ends.

The way PSG is playing right now, I am not sure that they are 100% going to be the winner of the title. I know they are still the best team in the league. But I do not know if they will be able to win that title as easily as we thought they will. This team has a good attack. But that defense is very weak and the midfield is not the best if I put it decently. Honestly, I am not very hopeful about PSG in the Champions League. Because even if everything is in their favor, they're still somehow losing. The only thing PSG was very confident about was the ligue1 title. But that is still under doubt.

IMO, individually PSG have good players in defense. there were Ramos, Hakimi, Marquinhos, Nuno Mendez, unfortunately they didn't have a creative attacking midfielder when PSG's front line was stalemate. plus, as we know that Messi and Mbappe rarely help their defense when the opposing team is in attack mode. especially, when the opponent has a chance to counterattack. in the end, there was an imbalance in their line of defense.

Meaning, PSG needs a multi-functional midfielder like De Jong. can be a Pivot plus, helping the front lines when building attacks. I wonder why PSG haven't brought in the newcomer they need, I don't know if Galtier is confident enough with his existing squad. I mean, there were rumors that Mbappe and Messi had asked De Jong to join PSG. Despite all that, however, PSG are still too strong for their opponents in Ligue 1. After all, there are still 18 matches remaining until the end of this season.

There is a possibility that Galtier will be fired if PSG continue to get less than optimal results, be it in Ligue 1 or UCL. But if you want to become the UCL Champion this season, I think it's still very difficult considering the candidates for several other European clubs are still strong enough to beat. Against Bayern Munich in the UCL I think that's one of the challenges they have to conquer, indeed Bayern are currently in a declining performance after getting a draw in their regular league, but sometimes Bayern Munich are stronger in UCL matches and that's what PSG has to watch out for. Meanwhile, in Ligue 1, PSG must continuously widen the gap with its closest rival, Lens, who always get positive results in every match.

We don't think PSG players will lose form like this. PSG dropped points against Rennes, Reims and Lens. PSG's attacking players were underperforming in every match. Mbappe, Messi and Neymar's performances are poor. This is why they lost points. PSG will play against Montpellier in the next match. Montpellier's performances are now erratic and weak. PSG has a good chance of getting full points in this match. PSG will win if Galtier doesn't make any big mistakes in this match.

PSG keep making their fans feel unaccomplished because of their inconsistency and unexpected results, it is a reality and fact that most internally respected and professional footballers are found in this club, but the day to day results of these team is devastating, every right thinking person would have thought that PSG will win their last league encounter but many person got a shocker, despite the red, PSG ought to have maintained the 1:0 lead but the allowed Reims that is not in good position to cause them a good 3 points which is not good for a team that want to continue to be at the top of the league table, as it stands now they have to work harder to maintained their position at the top.

They should have made Len's fans feeling better and happy claiming that the chase for the league one still continues after a lazy performance which also saw Marco Veratti the Italian been red carded.
They should better bounce tommorow when they play away from home else if lens get to win they will be sharing same points as Paris Saint Germans who are just three points above lens.
Reims also felt proud of taking and sharing points with Psg after becoming the second league one side to takes points from them in 2023 after lens.

If there is one team that can really have a chance to steal the title from PSG's hands I think that is Marseille.

Lens don't seem trustworthy for me when we talk about making it to the end. They have had a solid momentum but it is still doubtful if they can keep it until the end. Marseille are much more credible for it. Because they have a good squad and a solid form at the same time. While PSG are struggling this much it is like a golden opportunity for Marseille to put up a fierce fight against them. They will need to leave Lens behind first which shouldn't be very difficult actually. Because Lens made so many point losses recently.

Imagine it, if PSG was as good as Lyon or Lille or something like that, and every other team is the same exact level, would this league be any good? I would say they would be pretty lower level, they would be at the levels of Portugal or Dutch leagues basically, not talked about with the big leagues.

Now, thanks to PSG they have a team that could potentially win the UCL, not saying they will, but that's what they are aiming at at least. This is why it's not that much fun to watch the league when PSG wins nor when they lose, it's both quite boring to see in the end.

Psg this year is a very defferent team regardless the bad results that they having right now, but i can feel that this team can beat any oppenet and they will surely fight hard for the title to break the curse and bring the UCL to france, what happening to them in the league 1 will not have big affect on their preformence in the champoins league in my opinion

In quality, they are not worse than any big club in Europe from Spain, England, Italy or Germany but their weak defense is so harmful for their chance to take the trophy.

A weakest area of PSG squad is their defensive system especially their defenders. They also need strong defensive midfielders who can reduce pressure and risk on defenders and goalkeeper.

Marquinhos is not good enough for an ambitious club like PSG. Sergio Ramos came but I can see he is no longer be able to cover defensive loopholes for Marquinhos. He himself made some serious mistakes too because of his old age.

The attacking trio contributes to their weak defense too as they mostly don't join defend when opponents do counter attack or attack against PSG.

You are right. PSG has a strong squad. And there are plenty of star players in the squad. But even then PSG's overall performance is not good due to poor tactics. Match strategy plays a very important role to win the Champions League title. Moreover, PSG's dominance in Ligue 1 has decreased. PSG is just three points clear of second-placed Lens in the table. If PSG loses a match, Lens may be able to take the top spot in the table. I am happy that PSG's dominance has diminished. Ligue 1 is getting competitive.
