321  Economy / Economics / Re: Portugal will be "hodling friendly" on: October 10, 2022, 11:05:31 PM
This is quite common range of taxation. I don't find this to be big, because every country have got its own taxation. Many countries add it to the list of investment and not into currency/assets. The capital gains taxation on different countries are found higher than this. In Belgium it is found to be 33% and in India it is 30% and it continues with 1% tds. The sad part, Portugal being one of the country that have been into the list having tax exemption for cryptocurrency apart from the business profits adding 28% tax.
I tend to agree and based on this Cointelegraph article which is the worse country for crypto taxation was in Belgium.

This is good news, more adoption and taxation implementation mean it will cause more transactions and also more holders as well.  The basic law of increasing the Bitcoin price was in the demand and the supply which is no doubt this will likely happen in the future.
This means they fully accept crypto and consider this as legal tender right?  This could be a good start of a mass adoption and having that tax can be good at some point, though holding longer can always be a good benefit for the investors. Some countries really have a huge tax with cryptocurrency, we’re still lucky that our country is still a tax free for a crypto profit, regulations might begin to strict though as many banks started to show their interest with crypto.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 10, 2022, 10:52:01 PM
Bay Area Dragons is a strong team and that's why there's pride in it that the Ginkings were able to beat them. More games to come and the next match of BAD will be against the Beermen. Well, this is another expected team that will beat them.
It's like that the fans always talk about the BAD instead of talking about the other teams because it's something new in the league and we want to see more of them and there's that rumor that they've signed a 10-year contract to PBA.
That is just a rumor and a 10 years contract is quiet long, but I really think this can be a good development for PBA for letting a foreign team to participate and let the local teams experience playing with the BAD. They are good and that’s why many wants to beat them, SMB will be the next game for them let’s see if BAD will bounce back and claim the top spot again.
Yes, a rumor and waiting for it to be officially announced if it's real but if not then at least we have heard it if it's actual or not.
We will see if this rumor is true or not once Bay Area team able to enter the Finals, but I'm sure PBA will always enter into a contract that will in favor the system and with this, we area welcome for this progress. Any rumor for other foreign team to participate in the next conference?
Anyway, Bay Area should focus more for their next game it will be another hard game for sure and they have to activate all their players this time or else they will taste another loss again.
323  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: Axie Infinity Philippine Thread on: October 10, 2022, 10:37:53 PM
Yeah I agree na dapat magka meron ng axie burning since flooded na yung market ng axie and I myself is napakaraming axie ko sa account ko. I think may plano naman ang sky mavis about sa mga axie pero for sure matatagalan pa kasi naka focus pa sila sa ibang gawain. On the mean time pwede tayo mag focus sa slp growth dahil sa charms and rune. Yung runes and charms as of now ang nag papalakas ng mga axie natin and if gagamitin nila as an upgrade ang stagnant axie sa isa pang axie is parang magiging pay to earn na yung game. Dami kasi factors and considertations na pwede mangyari but yeah I agree na dapat madagdagan or mag introduce sila ng new axie burning.
Sa mga runes and charmes ren talaga kumita yung karamihan as of the moment kase marame paren naman nabili especially para doon sa mga nakakaintindi ng new system ni Axie. Agree ako sa Axie burning, hinde kase naging successful yung before, maybe mas ok mag burn without spending that much, this should be their next top priority kase sobrang daming Axie ngayon though most of them are already useless since combination na ito ng Axie at ng mga Runes and Charms. May mga friend ako na pasok sa top 1000 with the current season, and as for them nagiinvest daw talaga sila for the runes and charms.
324  Economy / Gambling / Re: How is the performance of gambling tokens compare to other altcoins and btc on: October 10, 2022, 10:31:44 PM
I can see that few gambling websites have their own tokens, is it advisable to invest money in such tokens? Also how is the performance compared to other coins and BTC? Do these tokens follow BTC movement like other tokens? Football club tokens surges when an upcoming big match is around the corner what about gambling tokens. ??
Having your own token might not be the option now for those casinos, because they started to innovate with NFT so I believe it's better to have your own NFTs than to have your own token, I've seen the success of NFTs with Rollbit and I believe that's a good update. Some site choose not to create their token though, because they know investors are not all gamblers. It's not advisable and not mandatory for a new gambling site, it's better to have more options when depositing than to focus on one token only.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the best time to buy Old Coin? on: October 10, 2022, 10:01:08 PM
If that old coin/token is no longer active, with a small volume and not existed on many exchange I suggest not to deal with it anymore and just choose the old coin that are still part of the top 20 coins, BTC is the best option above all but other Altcoins are good as well.

To know when is the best time to buy, you have to do your technical analysis and understand the movement of the chart, it can tell you when is a good time to timing the trend. TA works, so don’t forget to do this every time you trade or invest.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: REFLEX ACTION IN GAMBLING AND TIPS TO AVOID ITS PITFALLS. on: October 09, 2022, 11:09:03 PM
• Use money set aside for entertainment, not for rent, tuition or other bills.
• Spend time doing other activities, not just gambling
This helps all the time, having your budget in gambling can prevent you from too much addiction, and focusing on other also helps you to forget to gamble. I experience some problem like this before, I just focus my attention to other things like playing video games and hanging out with my friend, I can say that it helps be forget my losses and make me realize that I should control myself from time to time, being a responsible gambler is really hard but we have to do it.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is Bearish market the right time to buy coins? on: October 09, 2022, 10:52:48 PM
Base on the steady market increase early this year, some coins increases times two but now it has falling drastically.
The best time to buy is when you are ready, no matter what the market trend is you can still make money but the real question is, are you ready for the risk and the work of sleepless analysis? Bear market are the best way to buy cheaper, but there's still no guarantee that the price will recover so you have to pick the right coin at a cheaper price. I suggest to start building the right knowledge, know how to trade properly during bear market.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: Are we heading towards recession ? on: October 09, 2022, 10:47:16 PM

It's been said for some time now that a recession is around the corner and it is just about to hit. There was definitely a post Covid boom, but with the Russian war on Ukraine that has thrown everything back out of order after two years of slow recovery. China is still attempting their crazy zero Covid experiment at the same time, which is really not helping the situation and can result in megasize cities going into lockdown overnight on a regular basis. That is simply unsustainable disruption to all kinds of supply chains, but maybe it'll change when dictator Xi Jinping has his little ceremony again this month. Hopefully Russia will simply leave Ukraine and thing can start to go back to normal soon, which might help stabilize the situation, but it feels like wishful thinking.
we are already in recession - everywhere there the business is collapsing and there is not stopping
Buying power of people has reduced - have you notice one thing that there is less rush on the roads because people are saving oil indirectly saving up their monthly funds.
The government still not admitted this, they say they are going into a recession but the situation tells that we are already in recession.
Worst case scenario can still happen though, better to save more cash with your hands and stop spending on unnecessary things, worst economy might still happen though. What's the best thing to do during the recession? I'm actually not expert to this since I'm too young for the last recession, have to prepare for this one.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If this works out then gaming on the blockchain is going to another level on: October 09, 2022, 10:33:33 PM
Console game is still a thing, many are still into this kind of game and the idea is really great though still far from reality and still need a lot of analysis if this is really feasible and if they can really compete with Playstation since we know they are dominant when it comes to console games. Though most of the players really don't mind making money, they just play for a leisure and if they are going to introduce a play to mine system, they should have a better platform and games for this.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 09, 2022, 10:23:39 PM
Big credit to Brownlee as he really lead the Gin kings to win this game, though not just him but the complete pack! they are really familiar with each other and the system of coach Tim works well. I'm sure a lot of bettors win huge today, ML or handicap all are fully covered by the fans' favorite team.
Lucky to those who are able to grab the good odds yesterday, Ginebra really did well to beat the Bay Area. Though it looks like Bay Area is having trouble dealing with their new import and still on the adjustment period, they should play better if they want to win against the remaining top teams, this might be the start of their losing streak. Congratulations to everyone, Ginebra didn’t disappoint this time!
That was a great game and a great profit as well with a great odds. This is why we should not underestimate Ginebra with that odds, Bay Area suffer on their first loss and probably the next games will be more hard for them as they face top teams in PBA. I watched the game and Brownlee really explode the whole game, it's also good other players to get more involve, Coach Tim really did well on scouting Bay Area, it's finally good to see Ginebra their usual game.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why 95% online Gambling websites are Scam? on: October 08, 2022, 11:36:28 PM
-snip

First of all, don't treat gambling as a way to earn money. Just because you didn't get what you want, you will call a gambling platform a scam. It may be hard to accept but it was your greediness that make you lose 3 ether. Gambling casinos have what we call house edge where they always have the advantage over their player.
This is the simplest explanation for the situation of OP, losing doesn't mean you got scammed or the system cheated on you. Gambling is a game of luck, you can't expect to always win and can't expect that odds will always be in favor to you. The house edge will remain high and that's the top priority of the site, though of course they are still fair enough for giving a more fair games for every gamblers, you just need to count on your luck.

Worth it ba? Depende, anyone na makapagbibigay ng reward distribution?
Worth it ito para sa mga nasa top list every season, they are spending money because they get the reward as a good player at syempre malaki ren talaga ang nagagastos nila with the runes and upgrade.
333  Economy / Economics / Re: SEC charges Kim Kardashian for unlawfully touting crypto on: October 08, 2022, 10:51:15 PM
It seems to me that Kim didn't think enough about how she can promote the product, maybe there's a miscommunication about when or if she can finally promote it, documents and agreements can be like that sometimes. I think it's not a big deal but I am sure that Kim's side will see some problem nonetheless.
This must be on a legal team of Kim since we all know, those celebrities are always working under contract and for that to happen, the legal team should review first before getting into that kind of promotions. Well, Kim has to settle this with big amount and I think this issue is also a lesson to many celebrities that don't promote any project easily especially if you are not familiar with that project because it can turn into a scam project and you might be on a big trouble later on by promoting such project.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: October 08, 2022, 10:35:11 PM
Is the odds serious? It looks like Ginebra is the underdog here. Well, we cannot blame that odds because of the standing of Ginebra and Bay area, there a big gap between this two but out of respect to Ginebra, it should be a more good odds. This is a good opportunity for the supporter of Ginebra to place a bet, many believes that they can really beat Bay Area and there is no doubt for that. This will be an exciting match, the crowd will boost more the Ginebra and it can result to a good game.

The odd is down to @3 now for Ginebra but still a good odd if you are a true supporter of Ginebra. It may still go down later if more bets come in for Ginebra.
That's an attractive odds to bet with, we know how capable Ginebra is and I'm sure they can give another hard game for Bay Area, this will not be an easy win for both teams. I'll place some bet with Ginebra because I know they are eager to joing the winning column since they are already behind by many games, I wonder why their schedule is like this compare to other team. Few more hours we will see them playing, it's more exciting if you place a bet.
335  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does Trading Volume really matter ? on: October 07, 2022, 11:50:08 PM
Trading volume is important because you'll see how active this coin is in the eyes of the traders. If there's no movement at all or if it's very little, you'll be a hard time liquidating that token.
Volume speaks for the buyers and sellers and if you're going to analyze it, if the volume is too low then it's hard to get up because most of the investors have totally abandoned that project. But for newly launched, it's normal but depends on how long they'll stay on that low volume.
Volume is definitely an important tools if you are going to analyze the project, it can tell you when to buy and sell or just to ignore the project because the volume is fabricated and manipulated. Volume can also guide you for your trading strategy, better not to ignore the volume and focus on this from time to time as well. Some trader are too focus on other indicators and they forget the importance of volume, it can work but it's not good for long term.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lack of bug bounties from gambling platforms on: October 07, 2022, 10:58:20 PM
^But, why this is very rare now, what I mean is why most casinos did not run a bug bounty campaign.
I know it will add their cost but I think this is a proper way to know publicly the bug and their developer can quickly resolve it.
I think the best way in a new gambling casino is while having a signature campaign they also conduct a bug bounty campaign so that it will give boost to their improvement and progress.
We cannot answer this because every site have their own needs, and it's not mandatory so it should not be a question to us.
Many site started their operation without having this bug hunting, maybe because they work hard with their site and they are confident that it will work 100%. Signature campaign are for their marketing side, bug hunting might not be a good idea if you are marketing your platform. Again, it will still depend on every site, and as a hunter we can't do anything about it aside from waiting for a new bug bounties.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Earn Token by liking, following sharing and growing your social media account on: October 07, 2022, 10:40:29 PM
Do you even need to connect your social media account with this one? Is the token worth the risk?
These are the questions that you need to ask before you participate in an airdrop like this, they have been here in the market for a long time but the question is, why they are still not appreciated here and why they are still down in terms of value? People should need to be more careful with this one, though the reward is not that attractive but still be cautious.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you ready to spend crypto when market is down on: October 06, 2022, 11:17:29 PM
If one doesn't spend their crypto for purchases and wait for to spend their crypto when its price is nice, are they really considering it as a cryptocurrency or can we assume like those people are treating more like a security or investment instrument?
Spending during bear market might not be advisable because of it's current value and many are very optimistic about the future of Bitcoin and cryptomarket, that's why they are not spending it the way it supposed to be. We can consider that they are now treating cryptocurrency as their investment which I think is not a problem because as we can see it's value is not stable and very volatile, which is an indication that this is no longer a currency alone, but more of investments now.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You need a BANK WALLET on: October 06, 2022, 11:11:17 PM

If you are a crypto currency trader, or investor, you need a bank wallet to secure your profits or investments long term.  What is a bank wallet ?

A bank wallet is a wallet that you will never connect to meta-mask or dapp browsers, or any site at all......
A bank wallet is where you keep your long term holdings, profits or gains across blockchain networks ranging from Ethereum network, Fantom, Solana, MATIC, BSC and the rest.
Maybe a hard wallet where you can have the control over it?
I'm not familiar with that thing called bank wallet, but if it's more about a centralized bank then I think it's still not advisable. Hard wallet seems to be the most effective way to secure your cryptos, you just need to protect your private keys and you can be good. Connecting it online though is still fine, hard wallet are more secured since it needs the approval of the physical wallet itself, and it will be hard to get hacked.
340  Local / Altcoins (Pilipinas) / Re: UNIONBANK WILL OFFER CRYPTO EXHANGE SOON? on: October 06, 2022, 10:49:20 PM
Napaka advance talaga ng Unionbank when it comes to digital adoption, they are the first local bank to support cryptocurrency and blockchain technology while other banks are still lagging with their online banking. Magandang balita ito, though wala pa talagang announcement si Unionbank if they are planning to operate their own crypto exchange.

For me, mas ok iimprove nalang nila yung online wallet nila parang coinsph kase kapag gumawa pa sila ng sariling crypto exchange mukang mahihirapan sila with regards to competition, especially with Binance also planning to fully enter Philippine market.
