321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][BCC] Bitconnect Coin - Decentralized Cryptocurrency on: January 17, 2018, 03:16:52 AM
People are still buying at livecoin. Transfer there.
livecoin is overloaded ... can't access.
Try reloading a couple of times. It gets back up after a while. Bots keep trading there. I'd be happy to see them destroyed.
Why not just trade them on hitbtc?
Wait.. I think they are a scam exchange as well.

Scam befits scam coins.

What a world.. what a world... Angry

You all notice this user is a female. So why saying "Man.." and "father..". Roll Eyes

Plus they are from Nigeria if you haven't noticed so they probably are messing with all of you with their scam and they don't hold any of this coin.

You have all been duped by a Nigerian prince. Tongue
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I just became a millionaire on: January 09, 2018, 05:16:03 PM
Never heard of this alt coin before.
What made you collect them in the first place?

So how many did you hold in that forgotten wallet anyway?
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Travel to Korea to sell Bitcoin with cash, is it possible? on: January 08, 2018, 11:57:46 PM
You can not sell bitcoin in North Korea.
Are you insane?
They won't even allow you into their borders with a device that holds a bitcoin wallet, even if it is empty.
They will hold you at the border or at the customs terminal in the airport and send you back where you came from.

You must mean South Korea.
They haven't ban bitcoin there.
Yet. Cheesy

Cause it looks like Justin Tron wants to have it banned world wide and let his creation take flight!
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Have You Been Scammed? on: January 05, 2018, 10:23:59 PM
I just came over from the 'Investor Games' subforum (hope I got that right). A guy there said he came across a site asking to double his bitcoin, he paid in $20 and got $40 the following day or so. He then went for a higher plan of $300 hoping to cash out $600 but they asked him to pay in another $300 before cashing out. He got confused and was asking for advice.

I think I've been there before. Before I became a forum member. I once came across one of those scam sites promising to generate bitcoins. Thought it was real, but when they asked me to pay some transaction fee, I was stuck. I had no money to pay the fee. With the benefit of hindsight, I know I'd have sent them the 'transaction fee' had I had the coins to send them.

Now, what have been your experience with internet scams?
How do we help people not to get scammed?

Not all promising in the internet are true.
It is a scam if it is already asking money.

Well of course.

If they think they are protected by being dishonest with using a computer screen as a shield.

So what do you think? Roll Eyes

You dirty bertie. She's simply a woman drinking something. And gaijin don't get real Japanese hookers. They get sent Koreans instead.

What kind of hookers do gaijin get in Korea? Huh

This was actually the funniest post I have seen in this topic since I began taking it seriously.

Bitcoin dumping after finally realizing it is not what everybody thought it was.

TX fees are way too much for a half assed project in the first place.

It’s correction time and the FUDsters have their glorious moment again. The realist sees Bitcoin well over $10k, better infrastructure than ever and still a negative stand by most ‘experts’. That means the umpteenth obituary of Bitcoin and new ATHs in 2018.

Honey Badger does not care.

I think this picture sums it all up of all the crybabies sobbing about the price going down now

Mainstream news network CNBC is under intense scrutiny as evidence emerges its senior staff used connections to plug Bitcoin Cash (BCH).

He foreseen this back in 2013 now BCH will be the NEXT MT.GOX.

Centra Tech — Public Statement

Centra Tech Public Statement response on a recent matter. Follow us on twitter @centra_card for more information:

Centra Tech has learned that an alleged purchaser of Centra Tokens has filed a lawsuit against Centra Tech. This lawsuit, which for the most part, appears to repeat unfounded claims regarding Centra Tech, alleges that Centra Tech’s initial coin offering of Centra Tokens was an unregistered sale of securities. The plaintiff’s complaint attempts to mimic claims and allegations the Securities and Exchange Commission has lodged against other cryptocurrency offerors. Centra Tech disputes the allegations in the complaint.

Centra Tech is developing innovative products which use blockchain technology to disrupt traditional and outdated payment models. Centra Tech has already developed the Centra Wallet & Centra Prepaid Card to store and spend digital currencies, and is working on three soon to be released products and services, including, a marketplace to buy goods with digital currencies, a cryptocurrency exchange platform to buy, sell and trade digital currencies, and an open-source hyper speed DPoS Blockchain.

We strongly urge that if any party has any complaints or issues with Centra Tech to please email us directly to: support@centra.tech or to use our Support Center to file a complaint and we will address your issues directly.

They are having a class action law suit filed against them from some one who purchased tokens and SEC is getting involved now:

336  Economy / Services / Re: I can recover your Bitcoin Cash from MultibitHD on: December 20, 2017, 05:47:08 PM
Multibit HD wallet has been defunct for a while.

If you go to their website they do not offer support for their program any longer.
337  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] NiceHash.com - sell & buy hash rate cloud mining service / multipool on: December 08, 2017, 08:37:36 PM
Think this is their exit scam strategy.
It is all over the news and they are feeling the heat now with all the exposure they have now.
Unlike when mt.gox got busted and bitfinex last year, not so many people knew about bitcoin and what it was worth.

Btc was not worth so much as it is now so it is in the billions worth of bitcoin stolen here.

That will not be just swept under the rug and they will need to payout investors on their site now or face time in a jail cell.
338  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Convert Bitcoin to VISA/MASTERCARD/AMEX at bitcoingiftx.com on: December 08, 2017, 01:47:46 AM
Can you give any more information about your company?
Do you have any office you work from.
If there are any issues with our purchase how would we get in contact with you.
There is just an email at the bottom of the site.
So it does seem quite skechy. Undecided

340  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Hardware wallet - Claiming forked currencies on: December 06, 2017, 11:57:38 PM
Don't think about getting a hardware wallet just for the sake of getting these forked coins.
That is screwed up logic right there.

Just use your cell phone and download iconomi wallet and follow their instructions on how to sweep your wallet where you had the bitcoins on and insert the private key in there.
They explain how to do it step by step and anybody can do it.

Don't be lazy and just rely on a hardware wallet to solve all your problems.

Use some elbow grease pal!
