The fix is almost ready guys, why sell ?

Source please?

I hope the foundation do a lot of press around this fix, just to begin building back the trust signals that Mr Karpeles has ruined this week.

Gox seems to be looping and going a bit crazy, not that anyone should/would be overly interested..

You need to read between the lines, the wording is carefully chosen.

Look at the underlined part, as they only said Q1/Q2 delivery they won't be late until July 1st.

I have to contradict here in terms of Batch 1 (CA Batch) & Batch 2 -

Batch 1 ToS state: Q1/Q2 but delivery 3-4 weeks before batch 2 which equals delay = 1st July -3/4 weeks
Batch 2 ToS state: Delivery one month before batch 3 which equals delay= 1st July - roughly 2 month (for batch 1)
Batch 3 ToS state: Delivery Q 2

Not much space for interpretation here. Batch 1 hashing has to start latest around early May to satisfy the ToS of all batches 1-3.

There isn't 3 batches, there are 2, you are getting confused as the initial release had a different price tag (for previous customers)

Customer appreciation batch clearly specified: a "limited quantity of 1200 units" and earlier delivery of 3-4 weeks from any of the following Neptune sales.

Are you sure that it stated "earlier delivery of 3-4 weeks from any of the following Neptune sales."? I was under the impression that the initial 1200 would be shipped, followed shortly by the first of the $12,000 ones, and then a month after that "batch 1" has shipped, the $10,000 batch 2 would begin to ship.

Grin Fair enough! It's much more fun than betting.

I'm in full conspiracy mode now, lol.  I haven't seen anyone mention this very likely possibility yet...

20nm will never be developed by KNC.

Why?  Because if KNC never has to deliver a working Neptune to your door (c'mon aren't we all thinking we'll never see a real Neptune in person, right?)  Then what incentive do they have to build the new product when the 28nm Jupiters will do the hosted mining job perfectly fine with ultra cheap electricity.

We might see photos of datacenters filled with "our" Neptunes hashing away.  Shh, they'll just be Super-Jupiters in newly designed boxes.   But we will never have direct control of our individual boxes, just some vague, generic hashrate that we may have minimal control over.  So we'll never no for sure what KNC is hashing with.

Bookmark this post.  I want full credit when the conspiracy is exposed.  Cheesy

Why will no one see a working Neptune? I will be having mine delivered, regardless of the data centre.

I can almost guarantee that we will ultimately never be given the option of delivery for whatever bullshit reason they conjure up.

How much do you want to bet?

Speaking of shills, Bitcoinorama was on the forum an hour ago. When did this announcement come out? Oh yeah, over an hour ago.

Nice of the knc Director of Communications to answer all your questions for you. I mean, it's hardly his job is it?

Will his account now go dormant, like the kncminer one did in September?  Grin

They are clarifying stuff over on the forum now.

http://forum.kncminer.com/forum/resellers-affilicates/general-questions/29377-plan-b

"Hi guys,

Plan B is literally just the back-up plan to plan A, so right now we are on track with the current plans. We will have some more information regarding plan B if/when this pathway is due to be executed.

If plan B does occur, you will be able to convert over to a hosted hashing package, but again, the fine details of this have not yet been determined at this early stage.

We will have some further updates for you soon.

Forget mining, I think I'll set up a tinfoil hat shop that only accepts Bitcoin, I'd make a killing off some of the people on this forum, some of the theories are crazy, and I don't just mean in this thread!!

Anyone keeping an eye on competitors threads? Though it is quiet on the Knc front, I'm glad that I'm not a Hashfast or Cointerra customer!

Here's a less crazy theory..

Knc will give us updates and maybe upgrade boards once competitors do begin shipping, and by competitors I mean the above, not Antminers, though I do appreciate the latter is contributing to difficulty increasing.

not sure about a yahoo group you refer to?

Searing

Any yahoo group...but this one in particular...http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Freddys_Cell/info

phoenix has stated in article someone posted earlier in thread.

"Even on PESN they complain that Freddy was not sharing the plans like he said, but absolutely all of what I have told you tonight is online, and I know it is because I live in a remote area, and the internet has been my only connection to the outside world for the last 8 years. He even released a solid works CAD design layout of the unit, in complete 3-D, which actually plays like a video to give you an ultimate view of the production unit, as well as the exact dimensions of every single piece. I got this right off yahoo groups Freddy cell study group, right where he said it would be. But I can tell you right now, you're not going to be able to make that unit in your garage unless you happen to have a machine shop in your garage, next to your welder and your pipe cutter, and your frequency analyzer, that's across from your electronics bench, where you'll be developing your PWM and soldering micro circuitry. In my opinion, $5,500 bucks is a steal of a deal"

I thought you had posted earlier in the thread when you started vouching for Phoenix that you also collaborated with him in a science project or maybe it was him saying collaborated with you on science project.. I thought I read that somewhere in this thread.

LOL, he even says is a steal of a deal.

glad somebody had a brain in that group, bad grammar and all     http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/Freddys_Cell/conversations/messages/3075

"Now it has went up $2000 and no 3rd party verification.
 Not even a prototype shown.
How many here will fork out $5500 for an unproven product
?
"
wwwin, like I said in an earlier post, that information is outdated, YEARS old, and mostly incorrect.
The Resonant water-fuel-cell project is a global non-profit private group now, which doesn't share anything with the public hardly, with the exception of the watercartwo group. Mine is closed to all outsiders, and has been for two years. No, there never was a water car from "Fast Freddy"... he was a total ripper, and still owes our group member who paid for a cell kit that was never viable. We are a research group, not sellers of anything, only buyers, always were.

***  I came in here scouting for an individual who in the KNC thread, donated  .02568467 btc to me on Monday.
The moderator has since deleted the post in that thread, and I'm having trouble finding him.
Does anyone remember who it was so I can send it back?

I donated, but not that much! Cheers

What's the word on the New York Hearings tomorrow? Is it supposed to be bearish or bullish?

Think it is supposed to be bullish, maybe will turn this around?

Genuinely a bit worried about the hearings now, this is not how i expected this week to play out. *Shakes fist.. Daaaamn You Bitcoin!

Talking about scam THIS guy managed to trick a lot of people into using his reseller link and he is the 3rd top KNC reseller: http://reseller.kncminer.com/orders

More info: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=348743.msg4755253#msg4755253

Fortunate for him KNC changed their policy to only allow change of the reseller info on an order if both the buyer and seller requested it.
Hopefully enough people would complain and he will lose his reseller status and all his awards.

That is called deception.

2nd top reseller isn't he? I've just read that post and I don't like the sound of what he's doing. It's not fair on us reputable guys who're putting in a lot of time and money, taking the reseller scheme seriously!
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 26, 2014, 05:26:01 PM
They can't do anything with that frameset, it's just loading the KNC site in a frame not interacting with it. A way to try and get a page to promote and hide the reseller Id as already mentioned...Google doesn't much like frames so it won't help there much if that was the intent.

With some promotional skills and even some paid ads they could maybe manage a few sales though. Not a completely bad idea.

They've done a shit job regardless.. 6 sales! Cheesy
339  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Announcing NEW 3TH/s and 5TH/s 20nm Bitcoin Miners on: January 26, 2014, 05:15:01 PM
Cross post, but Kncminers.com looks like a cloaked redirect using their reseller id (339) It is quite possible that KNCminer have the email address, or even postal address of the person who was assigned that ID.

They've not sold enough for a free Neptune anyway Cheesy

Edit: Quick look around for if that ID is used anywhere else online and found this: http://foorum.hinnavaatlus.ee/viewtopic.php?t=568902&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1550&sid=4f96074baf308ef97cde8610673f2b5d

Sorry, not got the foggiest what any of it says, but hopefully will give some clues.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: January 26, 2014, 05:09:43 PM
Doubt it, just looks like a framed redirect, so they are trying to cloak their reseller code. Not sold many by the looks of it thankfully. However, KNCminer will likely have the name and address of reseller ID 339 which is the one that they are using.

Also found the ID used here: http://foorum.hinnavaatlus.ee/viewtopic.php?t=568902&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=1550&sid=4f96074baf308ef97cde8610673f2b5d
