321  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER: Entering the Future of ASIC Mining by Inventing It on: May 18, 2013, 07:46:01 PM
Hashrate is plummeting, we're at ~13 TH/s now. I wonder if this is the transition to the solo pool in action.

I sure hope so, currently us shareholders are lining the pockets of BTC Guild for no good reason.
322  Economy / Securities / Re: [BTCTC][[ASICMINER-PT]] - Public trading of ASICMINER shares on: May 18, 2013, 03:24:38 PM
Under attack again? Really struggling to put trades through.
323  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMiner Share Auction - get your direct shares today! on: May 18, 2013, 03:13:30 PM
Don't really see the point in bidding till you know what the price is on the 20th. We might fall back to 1.50 on BTC-TC by the 20th and then I'd feel pretty silly having a bid for 2 here, wouldn't I Smiley
324  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Asic Miners Available 05/07/2013 on: May 18, 2013, 01:50:20 PM
final stages of development

Sounds familiar. Where have I heard that before.

Best of luck to you anyway.
325  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMiner Share Auction - get your direct shares today! on: May 18, 2013, 12:34:09 PM
Seriously not to nit-pick, but the topic "get your shares today" isn't really true when the auction ends on the 20th Smiley

Here ya go: fnords.dontexist.com

Also, for ASICMINER hashing & other cool data: www.asicminercharts.com

Great, just what I was looking for, thanks Smiley

Anyone aware of any better charts for ASICMINER-PT on btct? The supplied one is pretty inflexible.

Seems like a better one could be created by anyone with the available API data, I might have a go but wondering if anyone else had already done it.
328  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 50btc payments? on: May 17, 2013, 10:57:12 PM
How long ago was it? Their payments can take hours to hit the network, and then some hours after that to get a confirmation.
329  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMINER: Erupter Blades. Review, comments, photos, and discussion! on: May 17, 2013, 10:07:29 PM
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Molex_connector

"There are three typical pin sizes: 1.57 mm (0.062 in), 2.36 mm (0.093 in), and 2.13 mm (0.084 in). The 1.57 mm pin can carry 5 A of current, while the 2.36 mm can carry 8.5 A. Because the pins have a large contact surface area and fit tightly, these connectors are typically used for power."

These blades require 10A and thus even the meatiest molex can not power them. Please get these wired up properly people, before someone starts a fire :/

Edit: attempt to be more helpful:

There's a dozen posts telling you how to wire these up but there's really only a couple of things you need to get right in my opinion.
1 - don't exceed the amps that the PSU rail can supply. I was powering four of these puppies off a 750W Corsair that could supply 62A on one rail for a week without a single issue. Single rail PSU guarantees that every yellow wire coming out of that box is backed up by 62A (though that doesn't mean that one WIRE can supply 62A)

2 - chop off all the plugs and just wire the yellows and blacks straight from the PSU into the blade connector. This removes points of failure and eliminates any weak points (generally, the plugs are the weak points). I had mine wired up using 2x18AWG cores. That is two yellows, and two blacks, each 18AWG, into each blade. I chopped off the PCI-e connectors to do this.
Over short runs, 18AWG should do 16A (apparently) and by running two cables to each blade I'm only asking each pair to do 5A - well within my comfortable margin. And no connectors to worry about!

Disclaimer: not an electrician but my 4 blades ran just fine and didn't melt anything by doing the above (moved them on now but as far as I'm aware they're still fine).

I think you will find that a great many of the lurkers and watchers have become totally disgusted by your company and it's behaviour.

QFT. I don't have a BFL pre-order and I couldn't be more pleased I never did business with this wretched company.
331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: BTCT Wallet Very Slow on: May 16, 2013, 12:08:13 AM
They're being DDoS'ed, so yeah. I think it's affecting inbound BTC transfers too, still waiting for a bunch to show up on site even though it has 19 confirmations.
332  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 4 ASICMINER blades (second auction) up for sale on: May 15, 2013, 06:21:38 PM
Yep, all 4 have sold and are now hashing away in their new homes.
333  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 4 ASICMINER blades (second auction) up for sale on: May 14, 2013, 11:23:42 PM
Great, glad you got them working plit79 Smiley Good to meet you and thanks for smooth purchase!
334  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 4 ASICMINER blades (second auction) up for sale on: May 14, 2013, 03:46:12 PM
Confirmed plit79 picking two up tonight, and other two blades sold via PM for delivery tomorrow.

So till further notice consider all 4 of these sold.

The delays seem to be getting longer Sad Been waiting 2 hours now for one of mine to even show up in blockchain.info :/
336  Economy / Auctions / Re: ASICMINER Auction: 50 Block Erupter Blades CHECK OP FOR PAYMENT on: May 14, 2013, 01:11:59 PM
yes 12V @ 10A per blade.

While you *could* run the blades in series on that, giving each of them 12V @ 10A, I really wouldn't recommend it.

Most people get a decent ATX PSU with enough amps on a 12V rail and use the PCI-e plugs - works fine for my 4.
337  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 4 ASICMINER blades (second auction) up for sale on: May 14, 2013, 11:28:50 AM
Sorry starsoccer that's just a bit low for me. I could be flexible on price for someone taking all 4.

plit79, sent you a PM, if you could get back to me today as to whether you're interested, if not I'll have to consider other buyers so they have greater chance of ROI.
338  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 4 ASICMINER blades (second auction) up for sale on: May 14, 2013, 12:03:59 AM
plit79, if you're interested in taking two of the four units I have interest via PM for the other two, so that could work too.

Would rather you took all four personally as its less work for me, but, just saying Smiley
339  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: 4 ASICMINER blades (second auction) up for sale on: May 13, 2013, 10:44:04 PM
A shade under a week, they're second round auction winners.

Depending on your optimism about future difficulty there's still good scope for these to make ROI, but obviously every minute they're not hashing doesn't do that any favours, hence a local buyer and offering to hand deliver them same-day Smiley
