I don't think anyone will pay you that, but you could get that pretty fast by using faucets or PTC sites. Some of the most famous sites for that can be found at this website or if you google it.
322  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Solo mining on: January 12, 2014, 10:00:17 PM
Im gpu mining scrypt coins ofcourse, not sha256.
So starting from which difficulty is it not profitable anymore to mine solo?
Is there a way to calculate this

If you can't regularly find blocks yourself, it ain't profitable. Just try it out and see.

Hi everyone, new comer here.

Just heard about bitcoin/altcoins ( I know im late) and thought id join up and get involved Smiley

It's never too late! People in 2012 thought there were late compared to the 2010 an 2011 adopters. Wait until this goes full on mainstream!

Nobody knows if Bitcoin will ever go full mainstream. It's all just speculation. But if it does, you weren't too late.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Poll: Value of Bitcoin if no pool could contol > 10% of hashing power. on: January 12, 2014, 01:25:50 AM
Not much more, at most 20-30% more I'd say. I think it would matter though, because it would contribute to the safety and stability of Bitcoin. Several pools have been close to the 50% mark, and if people could be sure no pool would ever cross it Bitcoin would probably be a safer investment.
331  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Help, I sent bitcoins before my wallet was fully sync'd. on: January 12, 2014, 12:59:31 AM
Maybe problem?
I still waiting for the "Bitcoin Wallet" to sync its still 82 week behind, and been slowwly updating for last 3 days
Why is it so slow? I had to limit it to 60 KB bandwidth, or it slows down everything.

NameCoin seems to update faster.

Anybody know if I can use my GTS8800 512 video cart to mine Catcoin or Worldcoin?

I keep getting connection problems, Tried guiminer MultiMiner.Win.  I have XP windows

I really like the BitMinter Client it was so easy, why can others be so simple?

Thanks

60 KB isn't a lot since the Bitcoin blockchain is several GBs. Namecoin is faster because it's blockchain is smaller.

paper wallet Huh Huh

You basically store your private keys on a physical paper that you have printed, making it more safe. More details can be found if you search around a little.
