Insight is now fully functional and customized at insight.chainexplorer.info

The RPC-Ace type is offline for now. Let me know if you ever want it online.

Bad gateway from here

That's strange, could you try again please?

So this is pretty great news for the industry as a whole...

Love seeing this type of progress! Smiley
They'll need to accept BTC->Paypal account before I accept their fees.

Logo contest is on. Bounty is 0.2 BTC - see details in contest thread here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=793551

I'm not a graphic designer but I think you are seriously underestimating what this kind of work costs. If you want pro work, you gotta pay a pro price. People will invest time and talent for a chance at winning .2btc, that's the kind of work you're gonna get. If .2 is the budget, then straight up hire a freelancer for a couple of hours instead of running a contest. .2 is insulting for those who actually went to school to learn the craft.

I'm a designer and as a freelancer I generally charge $500 USD for a logo for a small business, logos I tend to not charge by the hour and prefer flat fees because a good logo may take anywhere from 3 hours of work to 30.

Naturally of course corporate work is a whole different ball game. Steve Jobs paid Paul Rand $100k to design NEXT's logo Smiley

I a good logo does more then people seem to understand and people should be willing to pay for the best logo possible if they want people to even look at there coin/product.
I agree, they should take it from the ICO funds and increase the competition time so it'll coincide with the release of the Escrow.

Every day price is going down... what is going on?

The entire crypto economy is bearish right now and has been following bearish trends for months. Once people see the potential of DCN and the things the devs have been working on, you'll be glad that you've held.
I just wish I could buy more. I'm spread a little thin.

Excellent and Mystic, that's okay with me. Any way to automate the process?
It is automated, it just taxes my VPS due to the CPU intensive process of going through all the transactions.

@MystPhysX ... I'd also love to tip you... 1 Mill should go a long way.
Thanks a lot, but the sentiment is more than enough. TiPS was the first coin I was ever involved with. Seeing it succeed would be the best.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ProzCoin : Proof of Action (PoA) on: September 22, 2014, 02:50:03 PM
So the work is completed to 90% lol

More like 97-99%.  That last 3% is the worst Smiley

Chris
Oh man I know how that feels, good luck.

I'll update the richlist once every 2 or so days. Is that fine with everyone?
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN]Solcoin: We will let it have a soul. on: September 22, 2014, 05:54:09 AM
Any update?

Holy shit balls. This 6 post newbie dev is getting 375 btc....
What's your point?
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Announcing ProzCoin : Proof of Action (PoA) on: September 22, 2014, 03:52:28 AM
I'll be watching this coin....
Oh, I take it you bumped the price back up then?
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] FedoraCoin (TiPS); New style, new services, same unique features on: September 21, 2014, 06:22:53 PM
Sweet, once I work out the kinks in the richlist I'll interface it with the block explorer. Like dcn.chainexplorer.info
338  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] RPC Ace - a simple cut-down block explorer alternative on: September 21, 2014, 03:49:14 PM
http://pastebin.com/mQhBeWf5

I rebooted the system (no wallet daemons running), deleted all blocks and chainstate, ran the daemon for Deepcoin and confirmed it was redownloading blocks, ran tally.php and still got the same error.

Current Deepcoin.conf:

Quote
rpcuser=deepcoinrpc
rpcpassword=CjpsPgaiduokE6wWmYkA9iTPnS2FFp5aTbxKEgEFaTZz
daemon=1
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
txindex=1
listen=1

I'll try updating to php 5.6 next.

Could try adding server=1
Didn't make a difference, thanks though.

Deleted all blockchain info and started over, same .conf same error. I have php5-cli php5-common php5-curl php5-fpm php5-mysql installed. Am I missing anything? I'll give you root access to my vps if I can get you to troubleshoot.

BTW RPC-Ace runs beautifully, I don't have any problems with it.

If you set up a user who is a "sudoer" I can take a look. Just message me with the details.

Sweet, let me set that up.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EQX] EquinoxManagement - New Reliable Currency [New wallets] on: September 21, 2014, 02:21:16 PM
Is the old wallet working well ? I am using the old wallet
The new wallet is a mandatory update. Please update as soon as possible. If you have purchased coins in the first ICO you will need to pm EQUINOXdev to get the coins again.
340  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: [ANNOUNCE] RPC Ace - a simple cut-down block explorer alternative on: September 21, 2014, 01:35:10 PM
I'll try updating to php 5.6 next.

Or even updating that old 5.4.4 to the latest 5.4 might do the trick. 5.4.30 or so is the latest build, so I suspect some old bug in 5.4.4 is getting in your way.
Okay I installed php 5.5:

PHP 5.5.17-1~dotdeb.1 (cli) (built: Sep 19 2014 01:56:56)
