321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Forum member that found the glitch and gave back 100 BTC Last week! on: February 10, 2014, 11:08:51 PM
Stop thinking that people won't abuse glitches. The only way to stop people abusing them is ensure the glitches do not exist.
He's asking for the thread for this sole purpose. I'm part of the 'people', and I'm not trying to abuse that glitch. Problem?

I abuse all glitches that I can find, always. It's how I live my life, if I find a "glitch" it's abused, whether is rooting an android phone or preventing an elevator from stopping at other floors on the way down. And I'm not the only one who does this either. They call us "whitehats" and we're not going anywhere Tongue

So if you don't want your shit "glitched" then do your job properly and don't leave any glitches behind - especially glitches that have a wiki section dedicated to them - because eventually it will be found and abused for fun and maybe profit.

i bet these "whitehat" characters get mad pussy

I used to play online poker professionally.  This is eerily similar to what happened with Full Tilt Poker.  Its been more than 2 1/2 years since they shut down and players have still not received their funds back.

I can only advice you to give up waiting..... Roll Eyes Roll Eyes Roll Eyes

lol you would think but they actually just announced last week that funds would be reimbursed by the end of this month

If I use a program I made that keep track of all player stats while I play cash and tourneys, like a hud, is that allowed?

Bump, I made one, just curious if I am allowed to use it?

im assuming pokertracker and hold em manager dont support seals with clubs right?

No, I created my own, which tracks basically the same stats.

nice, I dont see why they should have a problem with it, huds are accepted as commonplace in the online poker world

good luck with this man, it is a much needed service to help drive adoption, especially here in the States
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: cex.io experiences on: January 29, 2014, 06:43:10 PM
Well My experience was good. Their service is flawless but the only way to  earn from what they offer you is to buy low sell high. Otherwise it would take more than a year to break even with mining. Plus their new TOS seems suspicious. I got away from them with about  20% of my investment as profit just after they announced the new TOS.

no matter what you are trading isnt the only way to make money "buy low and sell high"?
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: GROUP ACTION: CRYPTSY EXHANGE NEGLIGENCE - TAKE ACTION on: January 29, 2014, 06:40:35 PM
taking actions to shut down another exchange doesnt seem all that beneficial to the community.  Maybe instead some ideas on what steps they need to take to solve their current issues and some possible workaround for them that they havent come up with.  In an ideal world of course this shouldnt be necessary but keep in mind how undeveloped this community/ network still is.  We need to build not destroy.
