how come this was lost??  I swear I saw dozens of posts by lotto shills that promised me and everyone that they would win the poll?

I honestly do not understand...

can anyone tell me why lotto did not win?Huh

I saw so many people being so confident...
Just recently in the EAC thread people were discussing why there has been a rise in EAC haters... I can tell you it has a lot to do with the part of the community that is made up of people like yourself.

it's amazing how butthurt people are here.

EAC did not cheat in that poll. we won it fair and square.

lotto did not. lotto cheated, bribed, and eventually lost anyway.

I did not troll that thread. there were multiple lotto guys who went there and spewed nonsense, trolls and lies.

if you're mad at the one community that beat you guys with playing fair, then you have a problem.

go thank keyser and his ilk. they brought me here to say hello once in a while.

cause they mocked me for stating early that EAC had already won after 200 votes... turns out I was right. and the lotto machine was wrong.

gamblers suck at community work.

the only thing gamblers are good at is losing money.

oh wait, I forgot to mention that lotto has lost 70% of its value...
I know misinterpretation is easy with text but I don't think what I wrote sounded butt hurt, it shouldn't have because I'm not, I was just bringing a point to your attention. I'm sure the EAC community (or any community for that matter) would support me in saying this sort of thing is not what they want their members doing.
I for one am not under the delusion that there is only room for one coin, I support several alts including LOT, EAC and NOBL, each have a good community - with a few exceptions of course (well noble hasn't picked up any bad seeds yet but its still young) - and all have good potential in the long term. By coming into other coins threads and trolling all you are achieving is marring perception of EACs community, even if the majority aren't like you its the vocal minority that cause the biggest problems.
Its something you will learn as you go through life, you get more respect by promoting your products strengths then slandering another's weaknesses.

Its also worth pointing out that because EAC hasn't hit cryptsy or coinwarz yet it hasn't made itself a multipool target, this will be the real test of whether it can maintain its value short term. And as for the 70%, EAC was at 800 satoshi now its around 200 and declining, I don't think this is anything to worry about yet as its a fairly normal growth pattern but you cant run your mouth and assume people will be unaware of what's really happening.

324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - NEW COIN JUST LAUNCHED] *EarthCoin* Is Here To Make A Splash For 2014! on: January 12, 2014, 12:18:13 AM
This is strange...has anyone else noted an increase in the quantity and diversity of EAC naysayers today?  We have the usual suspects, but today's statements are rather inflammatory and unique.  In any case, for those of us who believe in the principles of Earthcoin and what it seeks to achieve, may this serve as a reminder to remain vigilant and not to allow ourselves to be baited into trivial and irrelevant debates aimed at stifling EAC's growth.

I'd like to talk more about the initiatives that I've seen spurred as a result of Earthcoin's birth, starting with Earthcointalk.  Now that all things Earthcoin-related has a home for discussion, wouldn't it be best that we start migrating?

I personally think devs of other coins are trying to protect their projects by slandering promising coins such as EAC. Earthcoin has immense potential and if it wasn't for all the haters I think more people would see that. Time will tell though. Let's see what the devs can do in coming months. If they do follow through and get some big press releases and launch incryptex as they plan to, then I can only see it going up from here.
While I think EAC is one of the new coins that has a lot of potential I have seen some of its community members slandering other coins without provocation and advertising in other coins threads, this may be causing some backlash.

What do you think, is @20 possible again in the next few hours?

anything is possible...

yup
Looks very possible... but its also possible someone could come in with a 10BTC sell order at 19 so don't take anything for granted Wink

Why don't you go find a corner to cry in and leave the rest of us alone? You lost money, get over it, the rule with crypto currency is and always has been don't gamble with more then you can afford to loose, this wont change until coins are more widely accepted for physical products.

That's not what I'm trying to convey. Read again. Rapidballs owning hundreds of millions, Hampuz promoting rapidballs because theyre in a partnership, mrlotto investing in his 'games' with Redcoins casino. I bet those 4 guys alone own a billion, if not more.

What do you own? 1M? Why even promote the coin?

It's a gambling coin. Of course if it gets valuable people will invest. Who owns the games?  Who owns the lotteries? Hampuz, rapidballs and mrlotto. They'll cash big.
Well, its very much how you are coming across, not only in this thread. Those guys promote their sites because that's what investors/business owners do, this is nothing new and should be no surprise to anyone. I would like to see you start a business with a policy of no advertising, its the sort of thinking that will keep you behind a chip fryer.
I have done very little to promote the coin above anyone else who has an interest in it, I think its a good coin with potential it just brasses me off when someone made some bad choices, lost some money, then takes it upon themselves to bad mouth the thing they lost money on through THER OWN CHOICES. In the same way some of the EAC guys seem to think that in order to make their coin grow they have to slander others, its just bad for their own rep IMO. Grow off your own merits rather then other deficits.
You don't like the coin, we get it, why not just go find another coin or leave the world of crypto currency if you cant handle taking risks.

You realize all this forum advertising is the reason they will steal away tens of thousands from poor 'investors'. Unless you own 100M LOT I would back off
That is a choice for us to make, if that is the choice you have made then why not take your own advice and "back off".

Hahahahahahaha

Yup. I hate you guys, all of you. Fuck LOT and its shitty admins

Boomerjackson fuck you

Ok y3804.
I question myself why the hack are you still posting in this thread?
You already told us you hate us and you would like to fuck LOT.
BTW: Nobody needed your damn fake votes! Why you canīt just leave when you hate this altcoin so much?
Nobody gives a shit about your words anymore. I really donīt get you. Lottocoin and we all can do very good without you!
You just embarrassing!

And your big announcement was shit. Only showed that you are stupid as hell.
Creating 300 accounts and do fake votes for what? 2.000 LOT / account. JUST LOL

I like posting in this thread to provoke vacuous minds.

Why use 'we', are you part of the team?

Why are you even promoting LOT if you're not being paid for it?
Why don't you go find a corner to cry in and leave the rest of us alone? You lost money, get over it, the rule with crypto currency is and always has been don't gamble with more then you can afford to loose, this wont change until coins are more widely accepted for physical products.

And..............

LOT losed the CoinPayments vote!

I had a good lesson.

pity he locked the vote thread.  I for one voted, then saw that we could get LOT for voting & went back and took a screenshot. I think that saying 75% of people only voted because they were paid to is overstating it.  oh well...
Totally agree, its ridiculous to think that many people could be swayed for 20c, if I were the OP I would be feeling embarrassed for being so fickle when confronted by a wave of trolls.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN - 2014] [NOBLE] = NobleCoin = Ticker: [NOBL] on: January 11, 2014, 11:02:46 PM
How about asking the owner of valid-error to setup valid-error2 and valid-error3 pools?

either way we need to get the bigger hashrates spread out
Yes, I agree, but miners have been complaining of lower payouts when they use other pools. At one point valid-error was only 30% of network but it's payout was better than other pools. What's the difference? Config?

If the owner can be convinced to setup 3 pools (valid-error, valid-error2, valid-error3), all at 2%, it may be worth his efforts and might help to spread out the larger hashrates.
I agree, my average has been about 1/3 of what I should have been getting over the last 3 days, the reason I still stick with the smaller pools is to help the coin and hope they pick up. I've got about 225K (3 and a bit days on smaller pools plus 1 day on valid error) from mining but my estimates show ~190-200K per day.

What lesson? Do stupid things, lose all your money and then blame the coin you invested in? Lmao, you are one sad guy.

Flame away Hampuz. Investing in LOT was a stupid thing, you're right on that one. Destroying LOT on that CoinPayments vote wasn't.
Why are you still here?

Unfortunately it looks like valid-errors back to 70% of the hash rate, not due to more people jumping on but a net hash drop Sad

Any calm and measured requests in threads for exchanges to consider us would be highly appreciated (we do not want 'to the moon'/bold colouring spam that is taking over these forums). Regards.
LOL besides the fact that when I see "to the moon" these days it makes me think "to 1 satoshi" Wink

Is valid-error over 50% again? it gives 45 Mhash of 80 net Mhash in the dashboard.

Or is the net difficutly not displayed correctly?

yes we are over 51% yet again..... it seems that workers on my pool has stayed stable over night (EST timezone), but now the network hash rate has decreased from 90 Mh/s to 61 Mh/s. The problem seems that the other pools are not retaining the workers they end up leaving my pool when I do a increase in fee to correct the 51% issue. I will do the increase of fee yet again, but other pools need to retain their workers.
I like this coin, I need a stable pool, but you stop registration. . .
I use both cryptotycoons and zapto both have been perfectly fine, as I'm sure most of the others are.

Hey guys, here's a vote for what coins people think will last more then 6 months, while NOBLE is too new and because its not on an exchange yet it isn't listed, if you agree with me and think it has a future then when you make your votes also take the time to leave a comment saying you like NOBLE and why (and that you think it will hit the 6 month mark of course ;P). This will help get visibility on NOBLE and what better time to do it then when people are thinking about coins that might last more then 6 months Wink

340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: YOUR opinion --Which new altcoin is going to make it ? (poll) on: January 10, 2014, 08:33:45 AM
It may be young so probably not quite ready for this vote as they aren't even on the exchanges yet but I do think NOBLE (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=402667.0) has a good future, its had one of the most stable launches I've seen lately (/ever??? lol) and if it keeps going along the path its currently on I'm fairly confident it'll get past the 6 month mark Cheesy

I went for EAC and LOT, both have a strong backing and have shown strong resolve as they hit their 'growing pains' period, if they manage to keep the supporters rallied for another month or so I think they will both be on course to hit that 6 month mark... time will tell I guess!
