Of course, I am very picky with ICO. I ensure I do my personally research about the project. Well, if after analyzing the project and or doesn't seem fit for investment by me. I walk away from it. Not going to invest my hard earned money into some fake project.

323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Scam projects, what should we do! on: November 20, 2018, 08:40:21 PM
There is obviously an increase in the number of people participating in cryptocurrency, most of which don't have an extensive knowledge of the crypto world. In my opinion,  people that fell victim to scammers must have been promised or attracted by a get rich quick scheme and lazy to carry out their research on the project before investing.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: There are too many ICO, why? on: November 17, 2018, 09:51:29 PM
Everyone want to have a share of the cake. So they come up with fake project, set up team, road map, social media platforms for hype of the project and scam people of their hard earned money from the four walls of their rooms.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: what's your problem in the bounty? on: November 17, 2018, 09:46:06 PM
My experience in participating in bounties have been a rough one, most bounties are only active during the commencement of the project after few weeks they tend not to update informations. The reward you get for participating in bounties at times is quite small comparing the Hard work you have put in.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Many projects are dead? on: November 17, 2018, 09:35:02 PM
Yeah, of course. I totally agree with you on that. Some project failed as a result of the market condition while others where not even ready for an ICO Launch. A very good percentage of the dead project were outright scam project, you can't expect anything good from a scam project.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can I lose my coins by choosing wrong wallet? on: November 17, 2018, 09:28:14 PM
You have to be very careful when selecting a wallet to keep your funds. I will advise you select only well known wallet that have proven their credibility over the years. They are a lot of phishing wallet out there. I feel bad when I hear stories of funds being lost to scammers.

BTC  is the first crypto coin and with regards to How long it has been in existence, it is therefore trusted by multitude unlike other coins that sometimes turn out to be a scam.

Do an extensive research on the project, check out the team that proposed the project, road map, social media platforms. After doing your personal findings and background check, You decide if you want to invest in the project.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will Ethereum fail if Vitalik dies? on: November 16, 2018, 11:13:02 PM
Personally, if vitalik dies I don't think ETH too will die. Initially there might be some sought of instability on the short run. But with a superb support team, on the long run it will recover and become of the most sort after alt coin.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The path may be rough on: November 16, 2018, 10:59:07 PM
The path to success is never a smooth one. It quite unfortunate a lot of people get tired and frustrated in the process and give up so easily. Only the persistent and consistent person are able to make it to the top. What ever hard time or rough path you are going through right now, don't let it weigh you down. Hard times don't last forever but tough people do.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Avoid MEW Phishing on: November 16, 2018, 10:49:29 PM
Personally, I feel my etherwallet is secure and reliable. However, You have to ensure you don't unknowingly expose your private key to anyone or click on strange links and also avoid phishing site to avoid getting hacked. I have been using MEW for a while and no complaint of such.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Another December Bull run on: November 16, 2018, 10:39:47 PM
Everyone is waiting for a bull run in December.  Huge loss have been recorded by a lot of people including myself. As much as I want a bull run in December, we are fast approaching the end of the year, still no positive sign yet. The possibility of the market recovering is declining.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If ICO Fails, Then what happen next? on: November 16, 2018, 10:06:32 PM
If it is a legit project, all investors will be refunded their money back, if they are unable to reach the soft cap. However, if the project is a scam project, they may fail to refund back your money. An extensive research on the project before you invest is very much essential.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Well, I just got scammed on: November 16, 2018, 09:56:31 PM
Sorry for the huge loss. Scammers are every where nowadays.  We all need to be extremely careful, because these so called scammers make replica of the original site and therefore makes it difficult to differentiate between the fake and original.  Scammers are getting creative.
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there hope for this year? on: November 14, 2018, 06:25:44 PM
We are already in the last quarter of the year, the possibility of having a bull run is not so certain anymore as there is no visible sign yet. We solemnly hope prices will go up in the first quarter of 2019. Keep the hopes high.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Xmas Bull Run!! on: November 12, 2018, 11:41:24 AM
Having a bull run before the year runs out is 70-30 %. By now, if there would be a bull run their ought to have  been some positivity. It quite unfortunate the market prices of coins are still unstable and fluctuating
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be put to an end? on: November 12, 2018, 10:33:44 AM
The main idea behind the cryptocurrency is to ensure decentralization of power in the system, thereby giving everyone an equal opportunity. Therefore, you are left to decide as person of you want to be a part of their project or not. I don't see any reason ICO  should be put to an end.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fake ico and bounty on: November 12, 2018, 07:58:36 AM
Fake ICO and bounty are very rampant nowadays. Only if there was a tool to detect or differentiate the fake from the real project, it will be very much appreciated. In the absence of a detection tool, an extensive research on the project, team, roadmap is very essential to avoid investing or promoting a fake ICO project.
340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: looks is right time to invest on: November 10, 2018, 09:33:49 PM
Yeah, Of course.  I agree with you. The prices of coins have dropped.  Personally, I would advice purchase as much as you can and hold up till the market price increases. Most importantly, do not invest more than you are willing to loose.
