Benfica and Villarreal teams are the unwanted ones for me now in the semi finals. And I believe in Liverpool and Bayern Munich both a lot to destroy them on aggregate. But I must admit that I appreciate the achievements of Benfica and Villarreal both so far. They eliminated Ajax and Juventus in the end and this is not a success to be underestimated that easy. But they have even bigger matchups now and this seems to be the end of the road really.

Betis are still one of the best rising teams of this season even though their form has dropped down recently. And this performance drop has caused them to lost two places in the league table to Barcelona and Atletico Madrid. No matter what, Betis should focus on improving their performance by the remaining games and finish the season in the best place they can. And their next opponent this Sunday is Osasuna. It is a home game for Betis maybe but it is still tough. But after a bad form, I think they will find a way to win this.

Leipzig - Atalanta also is a tough draw to be sure of something. Atalanta might be one step ahead against Leipzig as well after eliminating a tough German team last. They eliminated Leverkusen after really difficult two games in the previous round. And Leipzig are another tough opponent for them. Atalanta are like a German team magnet now.    However I still see Atalanta one step ahead of Leipzig in this draw. I think the game in Leipzig would end up with a draw but Atalanta would beat them in Italy.

PSG must be getting ready for their probable new manager for next season. And this is most probably going to be Zinedine Zidane. This would be no surprise for us in fact because we already know how much they have been interested in him. And I don't expect any rejection from him against joining the team. I see him as the only manager who can carry this team to bigger achievements. I mean the Champions League of course. They still can't win the title and it must be really annoying. Because they have one of the best lineups in the world now.

I think that it is going to be a comfortable weekend for not only Real Madrid but also Atletico Madrid. Real Madrid are going to play a game against Celta Vigo away. Celta Vigo are one of the middle-placed teams now and their performance is not satisfying enough to beat Real Madrid. Maybe Real Madrid lost to Barcelona by a huge score last but I expect them to continue like nothing happened. And as for Atletico Madrid, they have an easy-peasy game against Alaves. I expect no mistake.

The nightmare is on again for Roma.    Because they have a matchup against Bodo/Glimt in the quarter finals now. As you can remember the group stage, Roma had a game that was no different than a nightmare. Bodo/Glimt just completely erased Roma by 6-1. I wonder whether Roma will have a similar result again. But I don't think so. Roma must have learned their lesson already. I wait for them to be fully ready against Bodo/Glimt and even eliminate them.

We are mentioning Bayern Munich and Dortmund's chances about their next fixtures all the time. But we are missing a point here too. And it is that these games are quite important for Freiburg and Leipzig also. The reason why is that these two teams are in a tight battle for finishing the season up in top four. They have equal points now but Leipzig are maintaining the fourth place in the league table thanks to having a far more average than Freiburg. So Freiburg will have to win or draw with Bayern Munich and wait for Leipzig to lose points to be able to capture the place.

North Macedonia didn't have much different performance comparing to the one they had against Italy. And it was already obvious that this was going to cost them high. And it did. Portugal had a solid effort and they fully deserved this victory by 2-0. Bruno Fernandes was player of the game indeed by two goals. North Macedonia were very close to making a history. But you can't make a history by having this kind of a performance against big teams in big tournaments. I still appreciate their great achievement against Italy though. 

Harry Kane should have been able to sign for Manchester City when he had the opportunity. He was very zealous about joining Manchester City in last summer but Levy didn't let him go. He was really angry at Levy too but he didn't push more to leave. Actually he must be enjoying his game these days thanks to Conte. Because he has started to score many goals after Conte has become their new coach. But I still don't think that he should get stuck at Tottenham. He deserves to play for a bigger team.

As I think that Barcelona are going to complete this season being ahead of Sevilla and Atletico Madrid both, I have started wondering about a probable competition between Sevilla - Atletico Madrid duo. Because Atletico Madrid have the same points with Barcelona now so they are also three points behind Sevilla. Atletico Madrid haven't had a solid season so far but they are in the forefront thanks to their effort in the recent times. And this effort can carry them right in front of Sevilla until the end too I believe.

Two days left for the final round of the playoffs. And there is going to be a Portugal - North Macedonia matchup then. I really didn't give any chance to North Macedonia to reach this level like most people. But they are here for real. Portugal will need to act really carefully against them to eliminate them nice and easy. Normally, the strength gap between these teams is huge. Portugal shouldn't make the same mistake that Italy did and finish their job in the first half already.

Yeah, the sad truth about Dortmund is exactly this. They are still not playing as a complete team like Bayern Munich. And this is the biggest obstacle hindering them from reaching a Bundesliga championship. Thanks to Erling Haaland, they have been much better at scoring goals. But their main problem is with their defense now. They still concede simple goals and this causes them to lose many points. Bayern Munich don't lose points very often but Dortmund are not even able to benefit from the times their biggest opponent lose or get a draw.

And the coming game week could be an opportunity for Roma too. Because they are going to have an away game that is against Sampdoria. And the team that have equal points with them, Atalanta have a home game against Napoli. I will be expecting Roma to win this comfortable game without a problem. Atalanta - Napoli game is earlier than that one so if Atalanta lose points, this can motivate Roma to win a lot. Either way, Roma are going to focus on winning. And they might get three points away from Atalanta at the end of the week.

There is a tough game ahead for Barcelona. They are going to play a game in Camp Nou against Sevilla. And this is a crucial game to decide the second team in the standings after it ends. To tell the truth, Barcelona are very near capturing this place from Sevilla. It is only one victory away from them and I believe they will get it in this game. But Sevilla might resist well so it might be a win by one-goal gap too. But the only thing Barcelona need is a win without looking at how big the goal gap is. This will make them the second.

The Premier League is all about competition. This is the biggest league in Europe and it owes this to its being competitive a lot. And I also am wondering about the fourth place competition as much as the title one. Because there are four teams fighting for it seriously now. They are Arsenal (which are holding the place right now), Tottenham, Manchester United and West Ham. The weakest one among them seems to be West Ham these days. But they are not that weak either. And my favourite in this is Arsenal.

I don't see any chance for Dortmund to be honest. They never make me excited as they just keep the same gap with Bayern Munich all the time. No team can achieve even one title unless they are very lucky for that season. And against a team like Bayern Munich you would be in a bigger trouble too. And it seems like Bayern Munich are going to win the Bundesliga title one more time and maintain the streak. This started to be annoying much time ago but still there is no change.

It is for certain that Robert Lewandowski would go to a team that he won't have any problem on being in the starting eleven regularly. He is still one of the best strikers who are playing actively now. And he is already a legend for most people including me too. When we take this into account, he must go to one of the very prestigious teams if he decides to leave this summer. And as long as Bayern Munich don't start any contract negotiation with him, it looks like he will really leave.

There is not much time to go for the Clippers - 76ers game. 76ers are already close to a victory in this one and bookmakers think the same as it seems. I already bet on them to watch the game more excitedly. And I believe that they will make Clippers have their fifth loss in a row too. 76ers are a complete team now after adding James Harden to the team also. And I'm sure that he is happy to be at 76ers too. He was having hard days lately when he was at Nets.

The winner of the Frankfurt - Barcelona draw is going to face the winner of the West Ham - Lyon draw. And we are likely to see a Barcelona - West Ham draw after this round. And it would be a draw that is very hard to predict too. Because West Ham care about the Europa League a lot. And Barcelona haven't been playing like they do in the La Liga here. Considering that, West Ham would be strong enough to eliminate Barcelona in that case but let's just see what's next now.

Milan are the most comfortable team among the top teams next week. Their game is against Bologna home. And Bologna are not even close to being a good team this season. And this is one of the critical games for Milan like the rest of the games too. I'm waiting for zero mistake to be made by Milan here and they should be able to get a decent win. They must be very excited about their title opportunity now but they are handling this very professionally.
