321  Other / Meta / Re: Neutral Feedback to replace the red paint for non-scamming activities? on: May 09, 2019, 07:41:33 PM
Not a bad idea but even if only the dt feed backs counts in your suggestions and drawers the looker to the person profile I think if there might be tons of feed back some even born out of sentiment and share beefing.
And on another thought it's just wise and simple to always check the profile of someone you want to do business with regardless of if the trust is visible or not.

Am not the best when it comes to the use of English.
But the OP is not only poor in the use of English but it's hard to understand what he/she is getting at.

If there is any post you have come across that has lies, or incites any negativity that's against the forum you can make reference here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=129.0
And if it's scam related you can make reference here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0

325  Other / Meta / Re: Do the right thing and you wouldn't have to worry about red trust on: May 07, 2019, 09:19:33 PM
Well one thing I have learnt to have when dealing with a forum or group is a tough skin. Every one has different opinions and ideas. Well am not always right with some of my ideas, thought or English. But always opened to correction no matter how it comes.
And for the newbies it's a thing of value to pin point ideas and reasoning in replies to get ahead in the forum.
And I still believe doing the right thing is paramount.

PS. (am still learning how to do the right thing)
326  Other / Meta / Do the right thing and you wouldn't have to worry about red trust on: May 07, 2019, 11:27:30 AM
I have come across some post about red trust this red trust that this for example https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5140151.0
And I begin to wonder why some user worry about it

Here is the forum rules
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=703657.0
And I think the rules is very much plain and straight forward and if you follow the rules you would be very much guided and would not have much worries.

Some of the effects of such post about about complains and so is that it might affect newbies or prospective users mentality about the forum.
Let's not start a negative trend that is baseless and unhelpful member don't know each other in person so there is little issues of personal beef and if anyone has wrongfully given a red trust it can be overturned by the same person if it's proven to be an incorrect red trust.

We all in this forum together and there is no need to cause it harm with our post let's all seek ways to improve it for ourselves and prospective users
327  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: African bitcointalk community hangout on: May 05, 2019, 07:56:43 PM
It's great seeing the African community here on the forum and am happy and willing to join the movement.
But firstly I congratulate everyone here for not choosing the illegal way of fraud and choosing to be better an legit.
Cryptocurrency is fast becoming a force in Africa and we can be the fuel that drives it further
328  Other / Serious discussion / It should be once bitten twice shy (but greed and emotions blinds people) on: May 05, 2019, 08:52:34 AM
There is a saying that goes once bitten twice shy and fool me once shame on you fool me twice can't put the blame on you. But actually in reality this is not happening so many people are getting fooled repeatedly.

There alot of ways people get defrauded especially via the internet. And this cause not just only financial loss butore often can lead to emotional breakdown

Do give in into emotions and greed fraudster prey on them
Abey feel in love with Thomas a special into sergeant on a peace keeping mission in Syria they dated for three months at least online. And more and more abey feel deeper. But soon Thomas demanded for a money as to rake a vacation leave to come and be with her, abey who is madly in love sent the money but soon to discover sergeant Thomas was actual femi a scammer.

People have seen how others get dupe as a result online dating and even social media platforms has took it upon themselves to sound the warning some stating vividly to accept requests from people you know or share mutual friends with and even some payment transfer agency sounds the scam alert warning.

But still some are adamant and still repeatedly fall victim to fraud.

How you prevent falling a victim
1. Learn from other people mistake and also from yours
2. Hide to instructions and guidelines
3. Seek to be extensively sure you dealing with the authentic person especially on social media
4. Be quick to make a report when you notice any discrepancies
5. Avoid greed and emotional sentiments

330  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Are we become lazy now? Where is our creative idea? on: May 04, 2019, 04:21:19 PM
I can say that there has been a drop in the posting of creative content and I have noticed that some notable member of the forum has reduced the amount of time the are on the forum.
Don't know if this would become of negative effect on the forum although I believe the forum is bigger than any member

333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: HOW TO KNOW THE IDENTITY OF ALL ICO SCAMMERS on: May 04, 2019, 08:56:53 AM
Let's take for example a scammer organises an ico project and its turned out to be a scam or let's use the official term it fails he/she (the scammer) can say the project failed due to poor market conditions so it's just going to affect there reputation but if we investors can learn how to invest wisely we can stop this scammers from earning
334  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How easil to detect a crypto scam [for Newbies] on: May 04, 2019, 07:11:24 AM
There is a notable difference between sourcing and plagiarism. Sourcing is meant when you get information from some where, process it and give it out in your own understanding and knowledge but when you copy and paste what you see so similarly even if you indicate the source it's still plagiarism

336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Does crypto suffer from inflation? on: May 04, 2019, 05:50:55 AM
For now cryptocurrency does not suffer from inflation may be due to the fact that it is not a normal traditional money and it is decentralized in the sense that it is not run by any government but may be in the future there would be more intervention from outside bodies
337  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I dont think beginners should start with airdrop anymore on: May 03, 2019, 07:05:04 PM
Newbies starting with airdrops is likely due to the orientation they got before entering cryptocurrency. I have not taken part in any airdrops activity but using other testimony as a yard stick I honestly feel it's time wasting and doesn't have value.
338  Other / Meta / Re: Why forum mods are trying to moderate a language that they do not understand? on: May 03, 2019, 05:53:16 PM
There is no bases of you implying that your post was deleted due to the fact that the moderators are not from Bangladesh or can't understand what you where writing.
The post was deleted because it was irrelevant or unwanted. Moderators for Time to time check post or get report about post and if found to be spam or irrelevant would be trashed out and it's not just peculiar to your local board all boards on bitcoin talk forum is involved
339  Other / Meta / Re: What is the meaning of this Warning? Has it been applied recently? on: May 03, 2019, 04:43:46 PM

340  Other / Meta / Re: Very interesting discussion from the mind of a scammer - see archive on: May 03, 2019, 05:44:55 AM
I was always skeptical about that dude his approach to matters where quite different he was trying to play the role of a forum police and ignoring other part of the forum.
Well I must say not everything that glitters is gold
