321  Other / Meta / Re: Theymos 6000 btc, where is it? in NOAH ARK? .. on: July 25, 2019, 08:59:59 PM
First off this needs to be in Metal, second off Satoshi himself left Theymos in charge of this but it doesn't matter what "the creator" wanted as Bitcoin is a community led and developed crypto. Thirdly as I was just praising Theymos for his morality against corruption in another post, I'll mention it again. He has access to Satoshi's account on here. He could pretend to be Satoshi or have sold it to a scumbag like Craig who I am sure has offered him TONS of money for it, but here we are with an unused stagnant account and Theymos still with access to it.

"the creator" wanted as Bitcoin is a community led and developed crypto

Then it should be run by 51% of the people and they should stop banning community members, what is this communist community?
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think satoshi will ever came back and post on this forum? on: July 25, 2019, 08:51:14 PM
It is conceivable that someone who isn't Satoshi but who was active around the time of the birth of bitcoin could have access to a private key or two which have been linked to Satoshi. It is also conceivable that if Satoshi is still alive, he/she/they no longer has access to these private keys, either intentionally or by mistake. Signing from a private key is therefore not a great metric to use. It proves possession, but it does not necessarily prove identity.

Satoshi's account has been locked for several years, and theymos has stated he will only unlock it following a valid PGP signature:

His account is locked, so no. If he wants to claim his account, he'll have to contact me with a PGP signature.
Well I'm pretty sure that I am not Dorian post wasn't Satoshi and after that and the email hack Theymos did the right thing. I can only imagine how much Craig has bribed him for that account.

Cheers to Theymos and his morals!

What if satoshi see`s revealing himself to theymos is a threat? I guess there is other ways he could come forward without this forum. He could actually send bitcoins inbetween wallets to create messages in his first 50 starter wallets, like use binary code by sending .01001000 .01100101 .01101100 .01101100 .01101111 .00100001 btc in between wallets would mean hello. I guess he or she could just encrypt a message in them as well.

Maybe he or she or they? will never come back to the forum but they may do something like this.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think satoshi will ever came back and post on this forum? on: July 25, 2019, 08:23:32 PM

I think he is here right now. Satoshi has been joining the signature campaign.  Grin

Since time we've been looking for him, threads about him created to investigate his construction of sentences and the time of the day when he post in the forum and people come up with a conclusion as to who he can possibly be. But all these are just going to be guesses. He is not coming back, the man wants his privacy.

I am sure the person would like their coins if miners teamed up vs the network, I think the only way to stop it is hardware bans, but the miners will control the network, so yah I don`t know how you would fix the issue.

51% attack = dumb to allow happen.

satoshi would have a much better chance if it was 51% of the people, not hashrate to keep the longest chain as the main chain. Also it would not be a 51% attack then, it would just be a decision by the majority of the users.

I mean look into the future, whatever miner has the most miners, will make the most, and 1 miner will own all other farms in the end, use common sense.
We see it in farming today, I cannot compete with the big boys because they get gas cheaper in bulk, fert cheaper in bulk, baskets cheaper in bulk, small farms are all going under to the big corporation farms.

The same will happen with electricity to power the bitcoin farms. They will be able to get miners cheaper in bulk and electricity cheaper in bulk, all small miners will get pushed out or bought up by the big boy, otherwise they will operate at a loss.

What if BitcoinFx is satoshi?   Roll Eyes I actually think it is dooglus, or dooglus knows who it is. I seen to crazy of high amounts of btc played on just dice for that person not to be satoshi.
325  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Do you think satoshi will ever come back and post on this forum? on: July 25, 2019, 06:33:34 PM
I think he or she will, something in my heart tells me they are still alive. I don`t think they will reveal their location or who they are, but I do think they will post on this forum in the next 5 years. It is only a matter of time before some big big rogue miners or bitcoin devs do something he or she do not like or see`s a problem with and they will have to come back and have a voice in the matter.

It will probably start by him or her saying something like this.

"Keep using the longest chain" or maybe "use this chain instead from now on"

I did a poll earlier a few months ago I think 19 out of 20 people said they would use whatever satoshi said.
326  Other / Off-topic / Re: what is your favourite top 5 tv shows or series on: July 25, 2019, 03:23:42 PM
I have not watched t.v. in over 20 years since I got a Pentium 1 and a dial up connection.

Perhaps it is the reason I am not a sheep like most of you.

I watch documentary`s on youtube before going to bed for the most part, David Attenborough is my fav commentator.

All of the series I watched online are futurama, southpark, star trek, star gate.

328  Economy / Economics / Re: IS THIS HOW USD IS CREATED? on: July 25, 2019, 12:08:35 AM

Fractional reserve banking existed under the gold standard. There were many bank runs and financial panics in the U.S. when the dollar was fixed at $20/oz. That was the reason for creating the Federal Reserve.

BTW, I believe that we will see fractional reserve banking with Bitcoin, too. And, that is why I don't think a bitcoin will ever be worth $1 million.

"I believe that we will see fractional reserve banking with Bitcoin"

Bro it already happens on almost all of the exchanges.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: IS THIS HOW USD IS CREATED? on: July 24, 2019, 11:50:16 PM

We just create a supply of money out of thin air and expect everyone else to work for it? ahh sounds like $lavery, oh not to mention now you have to pay interest on that $100 that does not even exist compound or not

It is not that simple, either. The money is still created based on demand for credit, while the latter should be secured by enough collateral (well, at least in theory). So it is not like a bank can print money nonstop 24/7. No honey, no money

Sir if what you just said is true, there should be no money in circulation.

Based on demand for credit? you mean debt? to the bank, with interest and in order to obtain that interest (compound or not), more debt (not credit) must be accumulated. SPOILER: IT DOES NOT EVEN EXIST

So yes a bank does magically print the money out of thin air and clearly they are doing it unlimited because we don`t know the supply cap of USD or EURO`s OR any fiat for that matter of fact, to supply the "credit" AKA debt to a person. That person now has to obtain money that does not even exist in order to pay the debt back.

https://www.usdebtclock.org/world-debt-clock.html They will all be negative in the future, for one country`s gains is another`s loss and the loss has interest on it.

Yes they do print the $cam unlimited 24/7 and create money non stop, or there would not be  $80 trillion +++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ fiat dollars in bank accounts in existence, with the number just growing 10 fold each year.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Funniest Bitcoin story ever! on: July 24, 2019, 09:43:05 PM
Okay...so I have a funny Bitcoin story for you which I heard from a friend.

A middle-aged couple bought 1 BTC for a 1000 USD recently. They were happy beyond what can be described in words at the good deal they had got. So they got in touch with my friend to ask him about how they could sell it. He sent them the links to various medium articles and blogposts on how to buy and sell bitcoin. The couple got in touch with him again and told him that they had failed to sell the bitcoin. So my friend went and met them. They then "showed" him their bitcoin. It was a plastic coin with the Bitcoin symbol on it!

You know I actually believe this story because I once had a guy tell me he found a bitcoin at the casino, I was like uhhhh? he also showed me a plastic bitcoin with no address on it lol. I kind of feel bad, I actually ended up rofling for like 30 mins before explaining to the guy that was fuck all. It was something like these https://www.amazon.com/slp/bitcoin-coins/6qqms8myr43y5h9 He 100% thought it was a real bitcoin.

Don`t worry there is many like you in this world, we are all just digital bytes we should all bitconnect in this forum instead of crying all our tears alone we can forge a pool with our tears to swim in are sorrows. Everything is going to be ok.

332  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Fighting unemployment by monetizing your passion. on: July 24, 2019, 08:48:51 PM
Considering the high rate of unemployment in the world is increasing rapidly ...

This may sound like a crazy idea to you, but we should try to have much more unemployment. You do not need to be employed, you should just have income. Employment and income have been associated correlated along millennia but now the human have the unique and rare opportunity of getting the machines do the work and simply distribute the profits. Capitalism and any form of organisation that does not intend to free the man from its constrains, including the obligation to work, will be obsolete in a few decades.

I agree, we should be trying to eliminate jobs, not create them.

Now you see why so many of us are interested in bitcoin. Cheesy

In this case could the central banks print more money to cover the rush and prevent a collapse?
Sure, a bank could borrow from the central bank, such as the Federal Reserve, which in this case is known as a "lender of last resort". This is more-or-less what happened during the 2008 financial crash when the banks were "bailed out". It introduces a number of problems, not least the fact that the tax payer ultimately has to bear the burden of the bail out.

In the modern day money is created via credit (it is called credit money for a reason).
Correct. It is fully known as the "credit theory of money". To follow on from my example of fractional reserve above, in credit theory the bank doesn't even need a deposit to start lending out. They simply create a $100 credit of new money in your account, whilst at the same time debiting you $100 in a new payment request. From the bank's point of view there has been no net change; their reserves haven't changed and their balance book still has the same bottom line. However, $100 of new money has just been created.

Oh, I get it now, We just create a supply of money out of thin air and expect everyone else to work for it? ahh sounds like $lavery, oh not to mention now you have to pay interest on that $100 that does not even exist compound or not.

What a fucking great system my doods.

LOOK AT THIS ONE HE IS GOING HEAD OVER HEELS FOR IT

So the government takes a loan from a bank, tells the bank they are going to pay them back and then some (not sure how that is possible, without getting more of a loan to get more into debt) Then the goverment owes the bank for doing this?
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if you can have a dinner with Mr Satoshi on: July 24, 2019, 05:34:57 PM
You’re invited to have dinner with Mr Buffett Mr/Mrs Satoshi. What would you want to ask his/her opinions?

I would love to ask about his/her views about whether he/she is satisfied with all the hard fork soft fork ICO airdrop masternode that’s going on, I think it would blew his/her mind to even imagining what we had done to the crypto with him/her absence for so many years. And I can imaging it would be a very wonderful dinner that’s for anyone.

I would ask them their opinion on duration becoming the medium of exchange, and how we could use blockchain to insure it is legit. I would ask them how the feel about the ending of (mining) of bitcoin and if they are satisfied with it or if they could redo anything what they would redo, if anything.

I would present this huntercoin simulation to them https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y7TLFyK_3Pk and explain everything more in detail to them and ask there thoughts about it all.

I would also ask how they compiled the genesis block, for it may help me with my thoughts on how everything was created in existence as we know it and it would probably unlock the power to create my own universe sometime.

I would also thank them, but I don`t think I could ever thank them enough. For blockchain has really changed my views on life, I called the cops on myself a bunch of times for crimes I did 20 years ago.

Boris Johnson also called the Trump of Britain has won the race to become the new Prime Minister, and he has already earned Trumps approval too. With Boris at the helm Brexit is all but confirmed, though I’m not sure how does he plan to achieve it by October. What do you’ll think will happen to UK economy will it react positively or negatively to Boris appointment.

I think no matter who you vote to represent you, they will not do what you want, they will do what they want, they will get bribed and do what bankers want, and it is better if we have a decentralized system counting all the votes of the people, for the people pay the taxes and have to abide by the laws, so the people should have a say where the tax money goes and the laws they must abide by.
