321  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: April 02, 2023, 05:06:44 PM
Oh?   That makes sense. The merits might have thrown me off too..  even though maybe the first two merits that came from bumbacoin for 50 merits and sukamasoto for 30 merits should have had been clues that it was a fake screenshot... especially since I had never heard of those members, but I did not even really look very closely at trying to figure it out.

Initially, I had thought that the forum might have activated satoshi's account for the mere purpose of the joke.. which does seem a bit much, but sometimes we seem to tolerate a lot of extremes in order to make April Fool's jokes.

Whoever toke the screenshot is a noob in Photoshop or whatever software they used. I don't think anyone was fooled because that was looking so fake. I would rather use inspect element on one of the satoshi's posts and edit everything if I wanted to do a such prank. That would look more realistic. I don't know if you use TryNinja's Telegram bot. He tried to fool everyone yesterday by giving fake Merit notifications by satoshi. Guess what, it didn't work properly due to the Telegram HTML error. Still, he got shahzadafzal.

Goddamit, did I really fk this up? Telegram's HTML parser didn't work for some reason. Cry Cry
It was supposed to look like this:

Next year's, maybe... Grin Grin
Hahaha still you got me there!
I had to go back and check my merit history, then I searched through my posts. And I didn't stop there - I even looked up Satoshi's last active date and his merit history.
So, overall, you won this one.
I'd rate it even higher than theymos's April prank, because that one was predictable, but this was a complete surprise.
322  Other / Meta / Re: Who was your April fool Best? on: April 02, 2023, 10:55:10 AM
@TryNinja
-I haven't tried his pranks personally due to I didn't like to install things immediately even if they say it's safe and secure.I don't want to ruin my PC any further coz it's already ruined and I didn't have money yet to buy/build new parts/computer.  Cheesy

If I am not wrong. You are talking about his Game Cracking code? Well, That wasn't april fool.
Apart from Cracking that game code, TryNinja fooled his bot users by sending fake merit Notification from Satoshi.
You can read more from this thread https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5248878.msg62013030#msg62013030
I won't say it was successful enough because of the HTML error. He did not get me this time. But, Some forum members were fooled. shahzadafzal was one of them. He literally searched his post history and checked satoshi's last active date and merit history  Grin
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: how to run bitcoin node? Need your help. on: April 02, 2023, 10:33:54 AM
* What node is convenient for beginners?
You can run the node in two Modes, One is Pruned, and another one is a Full Node. If you run your computer 24/7 and have more than 1 TB of Free space, You can run a Full Node, which will slightly help the Bitcoin network.

* What type of Tutorials should one learn from?
Follow tranthidung's post Above.

* what kind of software installation recommended to download and the link?
The latest Bitcoin Core 24.0.1 was released. You can download it here https://bitcointalk.org/bitcoin-24.0.1.torrent. It will download a torrent file, and you can download the official Bitcoin Core using any torrent software.

* what's the best network device or PC is convenient for it?
If you follow the mentioned thread, You will get all answers. But, From my experience, I would recommend using at least 8GB of Ram and 7-8th Gen Processor with multiple cores and 1TB of HDD (SSD if possible) and a fast internet connection to download the blocks quickly.
324  Other / Meta / Re: Who was your April fool Best? on: April 02, 2023, 10:07:25 AM
I would say Royse777's April fools was the most successful April Fools within the forum. Every year theymos came up with a new idea, and it was apparent that he would come up with another thing on the 1st of April. So, it was expected from him. TryNinja tried to fool his bot users in his way. But he messed up with the HTML. I tried to add a little bit by selling Coins. None of them looks successful enough.

But, Here, Royse777 Nailed it. Almost everyone got fooled by this prank. Some of us had doubts but did not want to miss the opportunity. So yeah. He got us all. @Royse777, Well Done, my Man!  Grin
325  Other / Meta / Re: How did you enjoyed the Captcha on: April 02, 2023, 03:53:52 AM
Most of the forum users knew something was coming from theymos. Last year The Sceptical Chymist was The Pharmacist, and I remember he wrote the first reply when theymos came up with the IQ score thing. Back then, I wouldn't say I liked how The Sceptical Chymist asked in which timezone theymos lived in because I didn't get the term he used. Last year, almost 75% of forum users were fooled because of the IQ score prank.

But if you compare it to this year. I won't say it was successful enough. People started creating threads on 30th March (Like seriously?) about the April fool. So, most forum members already know something is coming up. If you didn't get fooled, It's okay; let others. But, People are creating more and more topic and letting everyone knows, "Guys, it's April Fool, Guys, It's April Fools." WTF man? What is the point? Catching some merits? I would say we ruined it.

No one is fooling you, stupid idiots, Grin
Don't take everything lightly. Some forum members are already tagged as spammers, including Mod and Admin as well. Don't you want to get rid of it? There is a way to bypass this captcha by buying Coins. You can check this service thread and buy Coins from there. I am giving you another chance to re-think it. Remember, The supply is limited.

Edit: It was fun but, I didn't enjoy it like the last time we did.

Hey Guys!
As you know, Bitcointalk.org now needs to solve Captcha before you make any posts. As You can see, a lot of people have already been tagged as spammers (Including me). So, I thought why not search for a solution? I had to deal with forum administration about it. I got limited supplies of coins from Forum. Now, I am the official seller of this Coin. All you need is to pay me $1 for each coin you want and your forum credentials.  Wink

Remember, I got very limited supplies. The coins will be sold on a first come first get basis. You may get banned for not buying coins from me since I am the only Official Seller. You may hire escrow if you want, but you have to pay the escrow fee. The only escrow is PowerGlove as he can verify the Coins Transactions.

The price list is below.

1 Coin = $1
10 Coin = $8
50 Coin = $30
100 Coins =$ 50 (50% off)

Cheers!

Yeah. You did it.
I also got the same as this.
First of all, I never had close to a thousand merits, and then I don't think Satoshi will be back in the future. Yeah, you should report to telegram for not working when it needed most. Telegram played with you. You git fooled by Telegram. So, I would say Congratulations to Telegram Team for successfully fooling TryNinja.

I had some crazy Idea for theymos. But, I don't know if he will dare to do it. Imagine Satoshi returned and posted hey I am Back on 1st April.  Grin
331  Other / Meta / Re: April Fool on: April 01, 2023, 02:27:13 AM
Well, you don't have to ruin everything.
Let everyone enjoy this day. Why are you guys so savage? I saw other people's as well doing such a thing as. I didn't get the point of doing such as you also know it's part of the day. If you can't make someone happy, don't be a reason for someone's sadness. I am sure theymos won't be sad because of that. It will encourage him to do something more unique next year. Still, why are you guys doing it?
332  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: March 31, 2023, 12:48:11 PM
Hi GekkeBelg,

For an independent review, we will proceed with sharing the relevant details of your case with a third party - Askgamblers, as you've suggested. We appreciate your patience during this process.

An excellent decision ended. As LoyceV already asked, Will you accept the result will come from AskGamblers?
OP has dared you to cooperate with 3rd party company, and you agreed. The entire investigation and time will be wasted if one of the parties disagrees with the result.

Moreover, they are somehow connected with 1xbit casino. We (some forum members) tried to highlight it in their ANN thread before. Both casinos have similar UI. At first, they were showing the old licences information of 1xbit (1xbet) in their casino terms page (see here). Their affiliate terms are also same. Now Coinplay is scamming the users in the same way as 1xbit does. You should create a flag against them ASAP.

Oh wow. I didn't know that. A good piece of Information. I am sure other forum members don't know about this as well.
If they are somehow connected with 1xbit/1xbet. I won't expect a good result from the investigation as well. yeah, I noticed the way how it starts with (Incorrect password). Since Coinplay agreed to cooperate with askgamblers, let's see what they come up with.
333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Tips To Make Quality Posts In This Forum As A Beginner on: March 31, 2023, 10:16:41 AM
I consider myself as beginner. You wrote some excellent points. Specially at end you described more about your points. I won't say following Senior Members is a way to improve Post quality. There are a lot of Legendary Shit Posters who post just increase their post count. They don't even read what was written in the OP. So, Not only Caracter, you don't have to follow every senior. Every stone is not a Gem.

Your 3rd Point is a bit controversial. I won't suggest any beginer to start catching scammers and bounty hunters. I don't think cathing scammers or bounty hunters help you to improve your post quality. It will help them to catch some merits. I support catching scammers, but you have to be careful and not question everyone's private matter. I feel like catching bounty hunters doesn't add any value to this forum as they come back again with a new account and it consume forum resource. I don't know why, but I feel like people hunt for scammers and bounty hunters to catch some merits and get a place in DT network. Which is why I didn't even modified my trust list yet.
334  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Pitching Bitcoin to a Whale Tank on: March 31, 2023, 09:46:13 AM
Back then, People didn't know if they were whales, sharks or whatever we say. They understood the technology and had to run nodes to use Bitcoin. So, whoever doesn't understand the technology satoshi invented, ask questions only if they are interested. Right now, this forum is full of shit posters and bounty hunters. We write here to get paid for signature campaigns. But it wasn't like this back then. The forum was full of tech geek people. Those people had an interest, and they understood the technology.

I don't think satoshi had to convenience anyone, as he said. Right now, How many of us know how bitcoin works? It becomes too easy to download wallet software and do transactions within a few minutes. We don't have to understand how it works. Most people consider Bitcoin as a way to become rich. The thought wasn't same back then. People gave more priority on Privacy and be their own bank.
335  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Coinplay CONFISCATING 291mbtc of fair NBA winnings on: March 30, 2023, 10:36:18 AM
If you refuse then I cannot conclude otherwise than that you have something to hide and know you are in the wrong here.

OP, I don't think they will follow what community members suggest. Would you please create a flag, as TwitchySeal already suggested? If they want to prove that they are not guilty and maintain their reputation, They will have to go with 3rd party mediators. You have already Invited them, and other members also asked if they will cooperate with 3rd party mediators. Create a flag and add the link to the OP.

BTW, Coinplay already has an inactive flag created by bachezy for a similar case which can be found from here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=3502111;page=iflags. Until they solve the issues, Avoid Coinplay.
336  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Mining on the cloud on: March 30, 2023, 10:12:13 AM
I don't know if any "Real" cloud mining services exist. But I haven't seen any of them yet. To be honest, I never looked for them. So, I may miss some genuine services. All I saw was a Scam Ponzi scheme. They say they will mine for you and share revenue with you. Sometimes a few websites offer crazy ROI. There might be some genuine service. But, You won't get too much profit. Never invest there if any service offers a significantly high ROI that looks unreal. Why not start with your miner?

I recently discovered that Binance has launched its cloud mining. This is how everything is done very conveniently: excellent profit calculators. On the one hand, we have a large proven exchange, a user-friendly interface. Thousands of people use it.
On the other hand, the eternal question of cloud mining is why do they give us their power?
So they think it's more profitable than mining by themselves?

Oh Really? I knew Binance had a mining pool while I tried to mine some ETH when it was POW. But I didn't see when they started could mining. We know what is their benefit. They running the miner and they know the profitability. Ofcourse they will charge you some extra. Also, This will be considered as invest in Binance. If you don't mine on Binance, You may do it on other services. Binance taking this advantage so you have transact with them.

As long as it's online, It's risky. No matter what device you are using. Hackers can get access to your laptop. Suppose you want to be careful with your wallet. You can be with your android device as well. But, in recent days, Hackers improved their malware. They steal data through the framework. You can read more here Android malware targets 13 bitcoin wallets and 400 banks Shared by lovesmayfamilis. taufik123 Shared about it here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5444480.msg61893757#msg61893757.

Let's back where I was. You can use two things. If you really want to hold for a long time. Use Hardware wallet and never store your information online. If you do transaction everyday or couple of times a week. Keep small amount (What you need) of Bitcoin on your Non Custodial Android wallet.
338  Economy / Gambling / Re: NEW Flush.com Crypto Casino - ♠️ $BTC ♦️ $ETH ♣️ $DOGE ♥️ $LTC on: March 30, 2023, 09:26:17 AM
Update:
We are nearing the completion of the implementation of USDT on our platform. Initially, we will be implementing ERC20, and subsequently, we plan to integrate more blockchains.

We all know about the fees of ERC20 Transactions. I would always prefer TRC-20 Instead of ERC-20. Still, Glad to know you guys are working on adding new currencies. I won't say Flush developers are fast enough. It's been 1.5 years since they have been here, and still, I don't see significant changes. The last Big change was around six months ago.

They are pretty much active on Social media Especially on Telegram and Twitter. Good to see that they working with game providers to bring some seasonal contest and promotions.
339  Economy / Gambling / Re: RoyalStarsCasino.com | Crypto Fastest Growing Casino | Best No Wagering of 375% on: March 29, 2023, 03:44:07 PM
What's your point then? if I'm not mistaken many users are prefer with a casino which ask KYC before make a deposit because it's too avoid getting asked to provide KYC when they want to withdraw their winnings.

But now you're asking them to ask KYC only for suspicious activity or during withdrawal?

I guess you didn't get my point. I did not ask them to ask for KYC only for suspicious activity or during the withdrawal. It's better if they ask for KYC before a user makes a deposit. But, if it's hard for the casinos, they may at least warn users about KYC requirements when they make a deposit. In this way, People will know they have to submit a KYC before withdrawing their funds.

I believe users never want to submit KYC until the system forces them to do it. Crypto Casinos are supposed to be anonymous and it users as well. But, KYC ruined the purpose of Crypto Gambling.

Hi Betzus!
Welcome to BitcoinTalk Forum. The design of the casino looks decent. I liked the animated game images. Look like you guys support a lot of Fiat payment methods. I checked your General Terms and Condition[1] page and searched for a few things. I was looking for if your casino restricts VPN usage. But I wasn't able to find any information about it. I searched the Keyword "KYC," and still, there was nothing. But in 2.1.1, you described that players must write their accurate information, including their residential address, which is a part of KYC. Does it mean players have to verify their identity on registration?
