An here is for the 99999999 time a weirdo who is commenting on my post. Why I never comment on your posts, oh because I don't comment on weirdos posts.

Umm, I think OP cleared the thing that he isn't selling child porn.

Ehm, I think he is lying and I'm sure I'm not the only one.

User A -> illegal drug money -> tumbler

User B -> illegal Ponzi money -> tumbler

User C -> terrorist financing -> tumbler

Tumble - Tumble - Tumble

Tumbler -> User A = illegal Ponzi money and terrorist financing

Tumbler -> User B = illegal drug money and terrorist financing

Tumbler -> User C = illegal drug money and illegal Ponzi money

User A, B, C -> Coinbase

Coinbase = Sorry we've confiscated your bitcoins because they were blacklisted.

LOL

Quote from Bitmixer:

I'm not a criminal. Why should I mix my coins?
Virtual currency is part of the here and now, but with it comes the need to “guard your wallet.” BitMixer’s high volume bitcoin mixer keeps your identity safe by offering premium mixing service with the ability to handle even the largest bitcoin transactions.

anyone normal wants to stay anonymous

Like someone mentioned, if someone like Coinbase has a policy of investigating the origin of the Bitcoins you send and they find out they come from criminal activities then you are in trouble, even if you had NO IDEA that those coins were in Silk Road sometime ago. This really sucks and will hinder mainstream adoption. It kills fungibility. The average end user should not care about it and not have that worry on their mind. I myself avoid stuff like Coinbase because who the hell knows where the Bitcoins that you got come from? It's a joke, but I don't really see a way around this as long as the blockchain is an open ledger... any solutions?

This. You are absolutely right. I used Coinbase when I first heard about Bitcoin, because no fees.
Then I discovered that Coinbase, obviously, sucks. Good for me.

BTC is really popular in my country. Hardware wallet TREZOR is from my country too. Can you guess my country? Tongue
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How much BTC have you gambled? (anonymous on: July 20, 2015, 01:32:56 PM
if we are talking about wagering then 100 btc can easily be wagered
for me I have wagered more than 100 btc if we consider all the gambling activities dice , roulette and poker ...etc
since there are different types of gambling and different odds and payouts then you can wager a lot easily
the important thing is how much people have won or lost

+1, for wagering is easy for us, my vip on betcoin is bronze II, 1400 status points, it means that i have wagered 140btc on betcoin. I like their vip, that's why i love playing there.  Cheesy

Plus other casino wager history, I have wagered over 200 btc in total, especially satoshibet, I played a lot there using no deposit bonus, to withdraw the 100m no deposit bonus with 40-50X rollover there, I have to wager 4-5btc there.

Can you post URL? I can't find any Betcoin..
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we stress testing again? on: July 20, 2015, 01:27:11 PM
There's no more stress test, which is nice. I hope the guy who did it will share some info with us.

After the first aborted attempt, Coinwallet.eu posted a report of the method and effects on reddit.  Hopefully they will do the same for this one.

I hope for it too. If yes, please post it here because I don't have Reddit account.
I doubt that there will be a report. As far as I know, there is nobody, who claimed that they did the big one. coinwallet.eu(whoever the hell they are) got pretty silent.
BTW. you can read reddit without an account.

I know, but I don't have reddit account so I'm not checking reddit, logic..
332  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin dead? on: July 20, 2015, 01:05:50 PM
Most likely a lot of campaigns are starting to go down and it's not profitable

Yeah many of the campaigns are getting down and it is not good news for us as it is the only source of earning bitcoins and if it keeps on going down it would be really difficult to earn bitcoins as we don't want to get into trading or gambling. So more and more campaigns with good payout should be started.

What are you even talking about? Campaigns affect little or nothing the bitcoin price or its stability, they are just a source of income in this server for some people but more than 70% of bitcoin users dont know or use this forum at all and 90% of the forum users dont even know or wear a signature to get profit.
Yeah signature campaign can't affect the bitcoin price, it can affect only the speed of the transaction, because signature campaigns sents many payment for their signature and it can cause delays. And also you must wait atleast 30 mins to confirm your transaction.

Signature campaigns really can't kill Bitcoin.

335  Economy / Invites & Accounts / Re: Sr. Member Bitcointalk Account - 0.16 BTC on: July 20, 2015, 12:44:16 PM
This is an unethical sale.  A bitcointalk account is an identity.  People might have trust in the OP because of his/her previous behavior.  Such things shouldn't get sold.

This is a PUT operation.  That is, an offer to sell and as such the price is higher than what the market will bear.

Nobody should sell his account. I'm 100% against selling accounts with positive trust, even with just light green.

338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: How to speed up: Bitcoin Core sync? on: July 20, 2015, 12:23:05 PM
Better computer, better Internet connection!

My computer is good, I would say it's more than average.. internet connection is average ( in my country ), it's 4mb/s.

Well can you make other downloads faster ? you cant , same goes for the Blockchain file . It's basically downloading files so you can't really speedup anything .
You can basically download the torrent file but that won't really increase the spped also download the Bootsrap.dat file isn't recommended anymore for the latest Bitcoin Core versions .
All you can do now is be patient and you will finally get there Grin

The problem is that I think it's so slow, slower than it might be. How big is the file? It says I have 1 year and about 30 weeks now..

That's the amount of history, but it doesn't take 1 year to download 1 year of transaction records. The blockchain is something like 90 GB at the moment. It will take at least until sometime tomorrow, possibly Tuesday.

Isn't it around 40GB?

https://blockchain.info/charts/blocks-size

I have a 130mb/s connection and a decent computer, it takes something like 3 or 4 days to sync the blockchain...

I meant it shows that transactions done 1 year and some weeks ago will be displayed. It takes so fucking much time.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who controls bitcoins? on: July 20, 2015, 12:20:35 PM
I don't know much about it, but I would say nobody controls Bitcoin. How can anyone control it? Maybe if the biggest pools decide to connect they can control the fees but not Bitcoin.
340  Economy / Micro Earnings / Re: where you get bitcoin every day? on: July 20, 2015, 12:13:58 PM
Joining on signature campaign and trading can help you achieve 0.01btc a day although you need to put some effort
If you feel lucky, then you can try gambling, you can earn 0.01 btc in just seconds! (Not recommended though)

Or lose it in just seconds Smiley
