321  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Lightning Network Observer on: April 03, 2023, 02:53:24 PM

A very interesting presentation by Giacomo Zucco, her last week in Viareggio:

Zucco's talk provides interesting insight into the future of the Lightning Network and its potential impact on the Bitcoin industry. He discusses the various players in the Lightning scene, including Slashtags, Nostr, and Greenlight, and highlights the relationships between them.

The Lightning Network has the potential to increase the speed and efficiency of Bitcoin transactions, making it a promising solution to the scalability challenges facing the Bitcoin network. However, there are still some challenges to overcome, such as user adoption and network security.

My Opinion Overall, Zucco's talk was an insightful and informative look at the state of the Lightning Network and its potential impact on the Bitcoin industry. As the Lightning Network continues to grow and gain traction, it will be interesting to see how it develops and how it impacts the broader cryptocurrency ecosystem.

I am now wondering what happening in the credit cards war rooms,  where they are discussing how a gaming software House basically stripped their business away from them.

Banks will realize tomorrow.
Regulators cannot even understand what we are talking about.

Oh, I can imagine that credit card war room getting hot! It's always a tough pill to swallow when a gaming software house steps in and steals the show. But that's just the nature of the game. As for regulators, let's just say they might need a bit of a crash course in the gaming industry.

Either way, it's clear that the landscape is changing and it's up to the banks to adapt if they want to stay in the game.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paying bills with digital currency cards, gift cards on: April 03, 2023, 02:38:59 PM
I walk into a shopping mall and I saw simplicity of life, that's the mall makes things easier for customers. There is several terminal machines and electronics device that calculate items as soon as you pick anything and before you're done shopping the electronics machine knew the total price already. Payment was excellently quick and sharp, you made payments with digital currency (bitcoin and ETH), gifts cards.

I think with the rise of e-commerce and the growing number of businesses accepting digital currency and gift cards as payment, it's no surprise that more and more people are taking up this option.

The concept of paying bills with digital currency and gift cards is an innovative idea that is gaining popularity and this payment option offers many advantages, such as better security, faster transactions and greater convenience.

But you've cash like neat dollars you can still pay directly with machines or sales reps around. It will be nice see people living the streets of the world with bitcoin digital pay cards.

Yes, you know or not. As technology advances, we will likely see more innovative payment options in the future. However, it is important to consider the limitations of these payment methods and ensure that traditional forms of payment remain accessible and available to everyone.

However, it is important to note that while digital currency and gift cards have many advantages, they are not without limitations. For example, not all merchants accept these payment options, and they may not be as widely accepted as traditional payment methods.
323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why Banks are Failing and Crypto adoption is at its Highs on: April 03, 2023, 02:30:18 PM
Of course. The recent bankruptcy of Silicon Valley Bank and the pressure on European banks highlight the challenges the traditional banking system faces in today's rapidly changing financial landscape. Cryptocurrencies, like Bitcoin, have gained popularity due to their decentralized nature and their ability to maintain value without relying on a central authority.

I think maybe it's important to know that cryptocurrency is very volatile and comes with its own risks, such as hacking and fraud. In addition, while banks may use people's money to invest in businesses and generate profits, they also provide essential services such as loans, savings accounts and financial advice. In conclusion, it is important to carefully consider the advantages and disadvantages of traditional banking systems and cryptocurrencies when making investment decisions.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: are you still strong holding btc on: April 03, 2023, 02:24:56 PM
as we know today btc is in the range of 28000, and i was very lucky to be able to buy btc when the price was still low, and now if i sell it i have a profit but if i sell it now i'm afraid i won't be able to
buying from the bottom again,, and I'm currently struggling to hold btc so I don't sell it,

I want to provide feedback that is informative, persuasive, and respectful of different viewpoints. First, it's important to recognize that investing in a cryptocurrency, such as Bitcoin (BTC), can be a volatile and risky endeavor. The price of BTC has experienced significant fluctuations in the past, and there is no guarantee that its value will continue to increase in the future.

I want to ask if you also keep holding btc?

The decision to hold or sell BTC is personal and depends on your financial goals, risk tolerance and market outlook. BTC is a volatile and risky investment. However, if you believe in the long-term potential of BTC and can handle the risks, it may be worth keeping your investment.

and the reason I hold btc is because I believe the price of btc in 2024 will be high and there will be no more btc prices like now.

It is also important to know that BTC has demonstrated tremendous resilience and growth since its inception in 2009. Many investors and analysts believe that BTC has the potential to become a valuable asset class and a store of value over time.

If you believe in the long-term potential of BTC and have a high risk tolerance, it may be worth keeping your BTC investment in check despite short-term market fluctuations. On the other hand, if you need funds for other purposes or are not comfortable with the current market conditions, it is best to sell some or all of your BTC holdings.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Is there anything like Bitcoin savings? on: March 28, 2023, 05:03:52 PM
Some will call this a stupid question 😅 but yea, it's just something that came to my mind today after giving a lot of thoughts about Bitcoin.

Is possible to open a personal savings account in the bank and always send money to that account and when you are ready to collect the money, bank will give it to you, my question is, is it possible to also creat a Bitcoin wallet and always send Bitcoin to it as a savings? if you do that for some year without going back to the wallet, will anything happen to your Bitcoin or the wallet?

Yes, it is possible to use a Bitcoin wallet as a savings account. In fact, many people do this to save for long-term investments. It is important to choose a reputable wallet provider and to ensure you have secure backups of your private keys to protect your investment. As long as you store your Bitcoin securely, there should be no issue with leaving it in your wallet for an extended period of time.
326  Economy / Speculation / Re: 26k mark finally breached on: March 28, 2023, 04:59:20 PM
I think in this moment It's difficult to predict the future movements of the market, but the recent climb in Bitcoin's price is a positive sign for the overall trend. While dips can be scary for some investors, they can also present opportunities for those who see the potential for long-term gains. In April usually better.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: Binance CZ sued on: March 28, 2023, 04:53:00 PM
I think Everyone understands market is always fluctuating and there are many factors that contribute to its performance. I think Binance is a global exchange and not solely based in the US, so the impact of this lawsuit on the market may be limited and the news of a recent Lawsuit filed by the CTFC against Binance CEO CZ and COO seems to be causing concern among investors and traders Although it is currently unclear what the outcome of the lawsuit will be.
328  Economy / Economics / Re: Is renting an inevitable waste of money? on: March 28, 2023, 04:46:46 PM
Renting is the best solution for workers from villages to cities, because they don't have enough money to buy it, and in my country to have a standard house, which the government provides through private companies, must have standard criteria, such as their salary in a city company , for $450 and must also be a permanent employee of the company. In addition, renting is lighter and with less financial responsibility and maintenance costs, as this is usually the responsibility of the landlord.

Renting, in my opinion cannot be said to be the best solution for workers that live in the rural areas and come over to the city for work as some would find it more affordable and cheaper to commute from their homes in the rural areas to work in the city. A lot of people do this instead of going through the hassle of renting a place in the city that the rent alone would probably eat deep into your little income.

Also, I don’t think renting is as light on the tenant as you make it out to be. The landlord obviously has some obligations to keep the house convenient for living so does the tenant is responsible to keep the house as it was met. Also, the light, water bills are on you as the landlord would obviously not pay for the utilities of a tenant.
Renting isn’t the best solution as I think there is actually no best solution. People are just inclined to do whatever works for them.

you do not understand / can feel how the condition of a small person like me. In the village, I do whatever work so that my family can eat everyday. In the village, getting a job in a company is very, very difficult with the current conditions. Incidentally a relative / friend asked me to work in the city, with a salary less than the city standard. With my condition far from my family and in order to change the family's economy, I am willing to rent a residence where I live which is not far from the company I work for. Indeed, in renting a house we have to take care of it. There is no other way for me, I don't agree with renting something that is a waste.

I understand that you are in a difficult situation, and it can be difficult to make ends meet, especially when living in a village with limited job opportunities. It's understandable that you would want to take every opportunity you can to improve your family's economic situation.

Renting a house can be a responsible decision if it helps you stay close to work and provide for your family. However, one thing on record for me and/or anyone else is that financial stability is very important, and you need to make responsible decisions to ensure long-term family well-being.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Altcoins to Buy During Dip on: March 28, 2023, 04:38:00 PM
So I own bitcoin, ethereum, and binance coin.  What are the best altcoins to invest in during this dip?   I'm considering ethereum, binance, and litecoin.

Although it is difficult to predict the right best altcoins to invest in during a downturn but there are many other options apart from the ones you mentioned. In my opinion there are several altcoins that have been doing well recently including the likes of Matic, Polkadot, Cardano, and Chainlink. It is also important to consider current market trends and sentiment, as well as any major news or updates that may affect the project.

My view While it is important to invest in an active project with ongoing development, it is also important to carefully consider any investment decision before making it due to many factors that must be looked at as well as factors such as market trends, adoption rate and overall project objectives at the moment. decide where to invest.

333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When is the next altcoin season? on: March 28, 2023, 04:21:31 PM
I have decided I have too many altcoins in my portfolio and want to convert up to half of them into Bitcoin but I am waiting for the next pump like we saw in January to do this as don't want to convert while my altcoins are 20% down.

It's understandable that you want to maximize your gains and minimize your losses by converting your altcoins into Bitcoin at the right time. However, predicting the next altcoin season is difficult as cryptocurrency markets are highly volatile and can be influenced by a range of factors.

That being said, historical trends have shown that altcoin seasons tend to occur during periods of overall bullish sentiment in the cryptocurrency market. Factors such as increasing adoption, positive news, and new developments in technology can all contribute to this sentiment.

My opinion for the decision to convert your altcoins into Bitcoin is a personal one and should be based on your individual investment goals and risk tolerance. It may be helpful to consult with a financial advisor or do further research on market trends and analysis to make an informed decision.
334  Bitcoin / Hardware wallets / Re: Very Urgent about TREZOR transaction on: March 28, 2023, 04:16:15 PM
Thanks. so with every sending transaction its creating one more transaction of BTC of 1.06 though my trezor showing full amount.

It is possible that this is an error or glitch in the system. However, given the discrepancy between the amount shown on the blockchain and the amount shown in your Trezor wallet. Have you contacted Trezor support and reported the problem. I think They may be able to help you recover your funds or provide guidance on how to proceed.
335  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is Bitcoin always affected on: March 28, 2023, 03:59:45 PM
I apologize if this is a dumb question but the fact is that I don't know why.

My question is, why is Bitcoin market always affected by all economics news, example is the issues with US bank like the SVB. Thank you

That's normal in my opinion because Bitcoin is still a relatively new and volatile asset, and many investors see it as a speculative investment. As a result, any news or events that influence investor sentiment towards risk can cause significant price movements. Additionally, global adoption of Bitcoin is still in its infancy, making it vulnerable to regulatory changes and other disruptions.

338  Economy / Economics / Re: There is more to the regulation's aim on: March 23, 2023, 07:21:26 PM
I don't know if anyone is thinking the same thing, Banks are collapsing and they want to regulate crypto? How is this going to be possible? How can a corrupt system brings a transparent regulation to the crypto space? I think that this regulation is a FAD, the aim behind this regulation is not about saving mankind from crypto rug pulls, I think the plan is to squeeze the life out of crypto because of the attention its getting.

If anything needs regulation, it is CENTRALIZED EXCHANGES only.
I don't think about it now even though there are banks that have collapsed, because crypto cannot be regulated like a bank whose system was deliberately set up to be regulated by state regulations. Yes, a centralized exchange can indeed be regulated because some of the local exchange parties do operate more securely after paying taxes to the state. So I don't think that it is being regulated by certain parties now because it is indeed not suitable for a corrupt system to be implemented into crypto.

This has always been a topic of debate for some time now. While some argue that regulation is necessary to protect investors and prevent fraud, others believe that excessive regulation can stifle innovation and limit the potential of cryptocurrencies.
339  Economy / Economics / Re: Is the government can really make a way to end poverty or it depends on us? on: March 23, 2023, 07:12:56 PM
Factors such as global economic trends, political instability and natural disasters can also impact the economy and contribute to poverty. For example, the wars in Ukraine and Russia may have led to higher gas prices and inflation, which could make it harder for individuals and families to buy basic necessities.

Addressing poverty requires a collaborative effort between governments, individuals and other stakeholders in society. By working together to address the root causes of poverty and implementing effective solutions, we can create a more just and prosperous society for all.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Satoshi’s Place, U.K. Bury, Greater Manchester on: March 23, 2023, 07:08:25 PM
Congratulations on this initiative!

I think Opening a Bitcoin Hub in the UK is an interesting and ambitious project. By focusing on education and promoting the use of Bitcoin, you can help advance the adoption and understanding of this innovative technology.

Good luck with your endeavours!
