321  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Difference between crypto gamblers - regular gamblers on: November 04, 2023, 09:06:19 AM
it's obvious because we are in crypto space because we are curious interested to learn more about technology. I am not talking about those new people who just figure out about crypto and just trade on exchanges and nothing know about blockchain, privacy, etc.
people like us are curious to learn more about technology. so we have better tech knowledge so we read everything and try to understand if not understood we research about those terms.
most people in my country don't have enough knowledge about these things or don't want to learn and take responsibility so they even make their account by asking to friend who know about this things.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Most you have ever lost in one session? on: November 04, 2023, 08:59:12 AM
woah! $200,000 that's a huge amount for me, even in my bank or gambling account. if you are not a businessman or this amount is also huge for you then, the pain you faced while betting and the result was loss.
it's very ground slipping situation, i had been in that situation but by my small losses.
and my biggest loss of one session was around $200, which was my saving of 1 year. (I know it's small but that was earned by completing surveys and tasks online) my total loss is bigger than this.

We are restricted to send only 50merits to one user in a month,

I like the idea of powerglove's Approach C from that any newbie can get the clue, that what the box is for, there no need to write like these 0-50 because these much merits are sent by veterans, even newbie or low rank member don't have that much merits to sent so they will learn about the limits about merits gradually learning more about forum.
324  Other / Meta / Re: I raise a motion to create a board where health issues can be discussed. on: November 03, 2023, 06:35:22 PM
Why not visit a professional health-related forum? Many qualified doctors or medical students are active there.

This forum is specifically for bitcoin related discussion no need to make it an "all and everything" forum.

326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are successful gamblers seen as addicts? on: November 03, 2023, 11:42:56 AM
Now let's be sincere, will you also classify a successful gambler as an addict?

my answer is no because being good at gambling means you have practiced and learned how to play well, like getting good at a specific game.
Addiction, on the other side, means you can not able to stop doing something even when it causes problems. some good gamblers might look like they have addiction problems, but not all of them do.
It's about how much control they have and how gambling affects their life. To call a successful gambler an addict will be depend on how they relate to gambling and how it affects their life.

327  Economy / Gambling discussion / how to start betting on sports? on: November 03, 2023, 11:32:11 AM
I am thinking to start betting on sports because I think it is fair then other games and there I should be able to control my hands which I could control while playing games like dice, plinko, mines, etc.
I want to know how can i start betting on sports and start making good profits, I am asking this type of question because i have no knowledge about any sports or players.
please give me some tips, strategy, resources to getting started.

do not reply with suggesting good platforms to bet on, I already know reputed platforms to bet.

EDIT: I know a little about cricket and football.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does lottery rewards expire? on: November 03, 2023, 11:25:35 AM
If I buy several lottery tickets and then leave my account dormant for a long time, say at least 6 months, and my ticket wins the jackpot during that time.
Will anything happen to my prize money? Will the casino refund my money because I never claimed any of the rewards?

It depends on the platform you use and their Terms and Conditions like some platform have rule of banning or deleting account after a specific time of inactivity.
rules like these can be found on their T&C page or directly just ask in their support chat, and you can also ask that they provide the winning lottery amount after long time or not.
casinos in which i play on gives lottery winnings directly into my account instantly after winning a lottery.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about trading feature? on: November 03, 2023, 11:21:01 AM
Gambling sites like Bc.game and Rollbit now include trading feature in their casinos. In this game we need to predict small fluctuations in price over a short period of time.
This is became my favorite game. What do you think of this game?
Do you think this game gives us some advantage/edge to casino? Because most of the time, prices tend to Follow a repeating pattern like Up-Down Up-Down in a range.
I will advise you to stick with what you know how to do and not deviate.

You have given a very helpful advice here. this advice is worth knowing to everyone that,  do not try to do things which you don't know about. specially in gambling.
Because I was interesting in provably fair games and all of a sudden I seen big win of a player on slots, I got distracted from my provably fair to slots.
I started spinning in slots, eventually my capital drained to half of what i deposited, it all happened because I was trying to do what I didn't know about.
it's same with sports betting like betting on sport game without knowing anything about game.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: do anyone have done this? with gambling platforms on: November 03, 2023, 11:13:17 AM
Talking about betting or gambling generally without mentioning Casinos, it has happened severally, making such Xs are possible and withdrawal with it. I can't speak for Casinos but most of them don't care about kyc to give you your wins and they allow you withdraw it but it varies with Casinos anyways.
You have a point in your statement,  I think the reason why most licensed casinos ask for KYC is host to fulfil their licensing demands this is so because, at some point,  we have hard highly reputable casinos not really bordering their clients for KYC verification for some winning even if it is above their free withdrawal threshold of $5k for none KYC and $5k+ withdrawal must be verified users of the casino.

We have seen a fair number of casinos not paying any serious attention to this and at some point pay a deaf ear to such things as withdrawals and go ahead to process their customer withdrawal demand.
the question is for small or new casinos for them $5k or $20k is a reasonable amount hey want to save for that they ask winning user to complete very complicated and hard KYC procedure.
and in last they ban that user from playing on their casino because he is winning, the new casino want losing players so they get rid of winners by blocking their account or doing things like that.
the reputable and big casinos who have huge amount of liquid money and players doesn't care about even $50k we can withdraw without KYC
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: mtGox Nobuaki Kobayashi on: November 03, 2023, 08:51:27 AM
I don't know why people refuse to learn from the past.  They see this exact situation unfold in front of their very eyes, yet they still continue handing over control of their BTC to, effectively, total strangers.
This is probably because people like the convenience of storing their bitcoins in these custodial wallet, they can easily access and sell and trade it plus not all of these bitcoin people are using bitcoin the way we know bitcoin, some of them probably don't even know how to create their own wallet to store their bitcoins. Probably the reason why they didn't learn anything from history is because they didn't know of it in the first place, just jumped into bitcoin because they're blinded by the potential profits if they buy one.

They just want easy money, most of them are lazy as fuck, they don't want to learn anything, that's why they are in crypto to make big profit without much effort.
they don't want to learn about bitcoin but want gains from bitcoin that's why they store their crypto on CEXes.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Success or Fail? - Talking about Gambling as a major income on: November 02, 2023, 05:57:15 AM
The house certainly designs so that their games are not profitable for the players in order to make their business run well. Usually each casino platform has a low probability of winning to make their gaming ecosystem more challenging for the players and to benefit them as well.
But even though it has a low probability, many people still gamble to make money. Most gamblers have the mindset that they will be able to make gambling their main/side job to earn money, which is a wrong mindset.
The desire to make money quickly is the driving force that motivates many people to gamble. I can not believe it. They may consider gambling as a primary/side job to make money. Why are they so naive? I need them to calculate how many monthly rewards they receive on average when gambling. Do they use the prize money enough for personal purposes or daily family activities? Or it's all just losses or luck with the initial capital? Those people should wake up. This is a game, not a job.
I was getting $800 per month from gambling. I don`t know is it enough for someone but in my country the medium salary is about $450-$500. I`ve stopped because such gambling need much time and i have a main job, hobbies, family. I had to choose something to stop. Between job and gambling - the job is more profitable, so i stopped gambling for profit. I still play poker, make bets, but mostly for fun. It brings me $200-$400 monthly and don`t need much time.

means you earn $200 by gambling and without loss?
if yes, can you share some tips and strategy you use for being profitable in riskiest way of earning?

334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading is risky, be conscious on: November 01, 2023, 04:11:53 PM
Over the time, I've seen people wanting to go into trading because they feel or think is a get rich quick scheme but get so disappointed along the process because the result they get isn't what was expected.
Trading is a very lucrative business but also a very risky business as well and as such should be done with so much caution.
What would be your advice for those wanting to trade as a newbie?

Learn the basics of technical analysis by watching youtube videos or read books. Begin trading with small amounts of money that you won’t regret losing. This will provide you with valuable experience.
Continue learning as you trade. Don’t overtrade. Follow your rules. Use stoploss. Be disciplined.
I highly recommend the book “Trading in the Zone.”

336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking for stake alternatives on: November 01, 2023, 05:15:07 AM
I guess this is a direct attack on stake even though you didn't provide any evidence to back up your claims that stake games are rigged, this is the second time i have seen this kind of thread where a user will be asking for stake alternative, anyways we have various casinos that have to build their reputations here in the forum, that ops can easily choose from.

With just a little search through the board,  you will have several options to choose from and align your test to one of them and then get back to share your views and comparison between stake and the new casino.

I think this should be the first thought for everyone. I was also scratching my head before going deep into it. Why just take one casino's name randomly and ask for an alternative If you want you can have a complete list of casinos from various "review" websites.

I am just quoting one thread for your reference however there are more and more threads that are also updated every now and then.

🤜 GamblingBro.com 🤛 Honest crypto casino reviews ✅ Tested with real deposits ✅

Though I am not sure if this thread has been updated with new reviews it is one of the viewed threads. Well, they also have "stake" on their top 5 list. So I am not sure what would you achieve by referring to alternatives.

I just found my topic that I created about best casinos. Check here .
I recently went through all the information and made sure that all the information written by me is correct and updated.
I don’t know what a winning casino is, but I can tell you that I win mostly on Bitsler. You can send me a PM for my referral link.
337  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoinica Theft with unusual transaction to Theymos. on: October 31, 2023, 09:40:34 PM

I am not accusing anyone I just shared the video,
I know that your intention is to share the video that you have found. Some may already know it and some don't but you should add more to OP like your own opinion on how you think about the video and if you think agree with tthe video or not. When I read the title, I thought it was something else but after I checked, it was not what I think it is. In my opinion, the thread title is misleading if you ask me. Better add more info when you share something or atleast explain what it is.

I don't know much about this video so shared here I didn't found a previous discussion to it on the forum.
I just shared the video link because i was thinking, here i will know more about this and what the youtuber is talking about and why he is talking about theymos and  bitcointalk.
338  Other / Archival / Re: Bitcoinica Theft with unusual transaction to Theymos. on: October 31, 2023, 09:30:48 PM
The video is not recently but was 8 years ago.

In the video, he said theymos is the owner of Bitcointalk. The founder of bitcoin Satoshi Nakamoto is the owner of Bitcointalk while theymos is the admin.
Wrong, theymos is the sole owner of the domain name, Satoshi never even posted here with the founder account.

@OP, while you are accusing people indirectly, why don't you put some effort and provide a few txids, blockchain evidence here instead of inviting us to watch a video which we can't figure anything out by watching it?

I am not accusing anyone I just shared the video,

Found this on youtube: Bitcoinica Theft with unusual transaction to Theymos.

in video he says the stolen 40,000 BTC from mtgox are connected to theymos and bitcointalk.
