I never thought that they would resort to such a level, but I guess they needed the money. What about the common P2P scams involving the Binance Exchange in India? Will those who are experiencing frozen bank accounts receive any help? I doubt that anything will be done about it, and the government is more concerned with people like us. I am convinced that the situation will change in the future. If anyone thinks otherwise, feel free to reply. But before that, let's not forget that we are moving towards centralization, which goes against the very concept of Bitcoin.
US did that first, UK then probably India forced Binance to comply all the laws which ofcourse be a burden for the users to pay such hefty tax but from their perspective they are here to make money so they have to do anything to operate and in country like India they won't be taking chances cause the potential of market is huge when most population of our country ages 30 or less which makes trading as good choice for them that will obviously plus for the exchanges. I came across the news in the Economic Times where they mentioned that Binance has agreed to all the terms and conditions of the Indian government. They will now be FIU compliant and will adhere to the tax regulations of the Indian government. Time for me to move to another International exchange which is not bowing down to the pressure of the Indian government. Binance will be paying a penalty of $2 million to the government of India which does not look okay as the penalty is less. I might be speculating here but I think they have come up with some kind of understanding with the government to pay a low penalty which we will see in the future if we receive and many other Indian users receive a demand letter from the Income Tax department. An official announcement by Binance is yet to be made. |

Here is my suggestion and correct me if am wrong, i believe the only option here is to write your seed phrase in a doc or pdf file, and encrypt and also put it in a folder encrypt it with another password, if possible add to another folder but if you can't remember more than two strong password then just go with two, and save it in your Google drive, but before that make sure your email has two factory authentication security. So that it would be difficult for your email to be hacked. This option is not 100% secure and I don't advise you use it when you have a better offline seed backup.
I agree that it can be done and I also agree it is not a solution that will give concrete security. I always believe in the basics and that is to always write down the seed phrases on paper and then store it somewhere which you think is safe. I do believe that rather than having a single copy always have two so incase if one gets destroyed then you will have a backup. You can then go ahead and create another backup of the same. |

The original concept in trading is to buy at low and sell at high, which is what El Salvador is doing now. I do not know what the long-term benefit of holding Bitcoin will be to that country as it is still in its initial days. They are the only country in the world trying to improve their economic condition by holding Bitcoin and declaring it as one of their legal tender. A country's economy function on various factors and becoming completely dependent on Bitcoin might not be a good idea. |

Currently the market is going through a correction due to Bitcoin. The current Bitcoin dominance is 54%, do you think in such a situation a meme coin will do wonders after 20th of this month? Another important event that is halving is schedule to happen on the 20th itself and after halving generally the maket stays side ways or goes into correction phase. IMO Dogecoin price will not make much changes after the Dogecoin day as it will follow the same pattern as all other altcoins have been following and that is to follow Bitcoin.

It is easy to gets bots as followers on X by paying some money. Followers doesn't mean anything unless they are active on X. Solana is now full of these meme coins after the success of a few. Not all of them will be able to replicate the same success. I am not against any meme coin but it is better to take more caution than before in investing in these coins.

It is a serious threat for the Indian stock market and I guess later on they might be working 24/7. Overall my opinion is that comparing the Indian stock market with the crypto market don't fit here. The crypto market is global and not saturated to a region. It works 24/7 and yes the withdrawal is fast as compared to Indian stock market. But both have different kind of customer base and both have their pros and cons.
SEBI is a governing body and what they are doing now should have been done long back. When I was going through the article I read that government adoption to blockchain technology is increasing while the outlook towards crypto is not that appreciating. I feel it is due to the reason that the government is helpless in controlling the crypto market while it knows the potential of blockchain.

Almost everyone that are listed in that channel lacks liquidity which is a red flag. If I need to search meme coins I would prefer X.com than a telegram channel.

If Trust wallet supports BRC 20 tokens and as you say you can see them on the blockchain then definitely you have not added the token details correctly on your trust wallet. There cannot be anything other than not being able to add custom token in the wallet. Anyone who wants to donate to an organization can do it by using their website. To raise money for any noble cause, many trusted platforms can be used to do it. Start of this year, makes people happy cause crypto market started non-stop pumping where altcoins also goes expensive and some altcoins were out of range to buy. Correction is always good for the market and it does help the market reach new high. Bitcoin dues to ETF created a new ATH earlier this year after that it was expected that a correction will happen. Before halving you can check the historic data that Bitcoin does goes through a major correction but this big dip is also due to the sudden war like situation between Israel and Iran. If Israel now retaliate then another major dip can happen. |

Hong Kong's Securities and Futures Commission (SFC) approved spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) for Bitcoin and Ethereum on April 15, approving applications from three major players: China Asset Management, Bosera Capital and HashKey Capital Limited. Details of the listing of these ETFs will be finalized with Hong Kong's HKEX and the products are expected to be launched by the end of this month. While the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has not approved similar funds for Ethereum, Hong Kong has taken a step forward by approving both products simultaneously. Therefore, the chances of spot exchange-traded funds being approved on Ethereum have increased significantly.
If this happens in the US, then according to forecasts, the price of Ethereum could well rise to $12,000.
But even on such positive news, the price of ETH continues to decline following Bitcoin. This once again confirms the fact that a coin with such a large capitalization as ETH cannot move against the market. Ethereum did go below $3000 earlier today which doesn't show that the news had any positive impact on it. As Bitcoin keeps on bleeding so does the entire crypto market and Ethereum is no exception. I think after halving event Bitcoin might go into the green zone, if the tensions in the Middle East do not escalate. |
