1)    BitForce SC Jalapeno: a USB powered coffee warmer providing 3.5 GH/s, priced at under $149
2)    BitForce SC Single: a standalone unit providing roughly 40 GH/s, priced at $1,299
3)    BitForce SC Mini Rig: a case & rack mount server providing 1 TH/s, priced at $29,899

This is going to completely decimate the FPGA and GPU industries, if Butterfly Labs is able to keep up with the demand.

*Looks at my poor little 5770 at 220 MH/s, and then at BitForce Jalapeno at 3.5 GH/s at 'approx' same price*

"Aw crap!"  Wink

Down again?

It's still up, just lagging behind.
323  Economy / Lending / Re: Small Pyramining Passthrough [FULFILLED] on: June 14, 2012, 02:28:00 PM
To Kluge: The main reason why I can't have more than two members, or your deposit, is because my pyramining account can't necessarily sustain that amount =/ (It can sustain the interest, but I'm worried about the problems that may be caused since I may not be able to get 3 BTC from Pyramining within 5 days (sometimes I get more, sometimes I get less). It's just an experiment for now, and I will see how it goes with Burt. After a week or two, I can probably accept one or two more deposits (with restriction of longer notice before forced withdrawal) - I will contact you then if you're still interested  Smiley

2BTC sent. http://blockchain.info/tx-index/9088047/60dd221c7ac7e74c21f612071efa78417c94b1045febf487d7b8c0f298138e23 Please pay interest only (.18BTC) to 1N4PiTb8uR1puwJec7Z4cVBZv1MyNH8v6V per 5D. Cheers!

ETA: Also signed up using referral link.

Umm.. I'm not too sure I can facilitate two members. The program was meant more to be of a one member thing, really.  Sorry for any confusion. Embarrassed

I'll contact you if I need any more deposits, but I'll send back the 2 BTC you sent to me for now.

Again, sorry for any inconvenience that this caused!  Sad

Deal!  1 BTC sent.   You just keep the 1 BTC on account for as long as you want.  You can send it back whenever you no longer need it.

I only wish you could do this for 10,000 BTC and pay me 900 BTC every 5 days!  At any rate just send the interest to my public account:

http://blockchain.info/address/1BurtW  That is (1BurtWEejbnKeBRsvcydJvsNztB1bXV5iQ)

Haha, thanks  Smiley

0.09 BTC to be sent to your address on the 19th.  Wink
326  Economy / Lending / Re: Small Pyramining Passthrough on: June 14, 2012, 08:35:39 AM
Let me get this straight.  If lend you some BTC you will pay me 9% every 5 days?  That sounds great!

My Pirate account only pays a paltry 7% every 7 days.  Give me a deposit address and I will get you the coins.  How many coins did you say you wanted?

Yup, I will give you basically a 9% interest rate. BUT (!!) the amount is tiny for now - 1 BTC per 5 day interval, or whenever I get sufficient funds back from Pyramining. Of course, if this continues for a while, the amount will be able to be increased to a larger amount, but please note that it is up to my discretion when to cancel this deal.

So basically here's the deal (for now):

Two options:

1. Send Back
You send 1 BTC to me, and I will return 1.09 BTC to your receiving address in 5 days, or on the 19th. You will then have the choice of either sending 1 BTC back to me, or contact me to cancel the agreement, upon which I will try to find another candidate and you will not be obliged to send me the 1 BTC.

2. Direct Interest
You send 1 BTC to me, and I will return 0.09 BTC to your receiving address in 5 days, or on the 19th. The remaining 1 BTC will be reused, and on the end of the next 5 day period, I will give you another 0.09 BTC. And so forth until either of us decide the cancel the deal. Should you ever wish to cash out, I will return to you 1.09 (1+0.09 interest) BTC at the end of that final 5 day period.

If you want a fully compounded plan (where I don't return any funds and instead continuously reuse them until you want a withdrawal), that's very difficult for me as I can't provide for withdrawals above 1~2 BTC within the 5 day period (for now). So that's off the board for now.

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask.  Grin

This IS just an experiment, and I reserve the discretion the cancel the deal at any time (as do you, to an extent) or contact you about proposed changes. Thanks  Smiley

If you want to start, send 1 BTC to 181rTp3FELRie1hRWjDithW2tZTPAiv8iz
PM or post your receiving address here, and 1.09 BTC will be sent to it on the 19th.

Happy Bitcoining.  Cheesy

327  Economy / Lending / Small Pyramining Passthrough [FULFILLED] on: June 13, 2012, 09:59:47 AM
OFFER FULFILLED BY BURTW, CLOSED FOR NOW.

I know that the amount is perhaps too small, but is any reputable or friendly and active member willing to lend me 1 BTC for every period of 5 days or so? For an illustration of how this would work, you would give me 1 BTC today, and I will give you 1*(1+(agreed interest rate)), or around 1.09 BTC in five days, upon which you would give me another 1 BTC or so. You would, of course, have the option of either having me just send the interest to you, and continue on using that 1 BTC, or have me directly send it to you, and you would then decide whether or not you would want to send it (minus the interest) back to me.

I want to do a sort of pass-through to pyramining, except on a (ridiculously) small scale that my account there can actually keep up with. Due to the slight volatility of the payments, and the relatively small size of my account, I can currently accept only 1 or 2 BTC loans. Of course, if pyramining fails or doesn't keep up, though the former is unlikely since I have already compensated for it using the relatively lengthy 5 day term, I have a 5770 mining 24/7 earning approx. 0.12 BTC per day that would give you a guarantee of my repayment (though not by the due date).

It's just a small experiment to give others the high interest of pyramining as well as allow me to increase the size of my account there. If anybody would like to continuously do this, and be sort of a partner with me, I am willing to give you full interest minus trans. and pyramining fees. Quite a bit more than your current offered interest, I would say. Perhaps even better than BTCS&T passthroughs.  Smiley

Anyway, if anybody's interested and are willing to spend the time, PM me or reply here.  Cheesy

Oh sorry lol, but 1 Euro = 4 Bitcoins. I Didn't saw about the dollars, sorry. Btw, feel free to make an offer then.

I must wonder what rate you get that from Oo. I think you might have misread the exchange rate  Tongue 1 Bitcoin = 4.68 Euro, according to current Mt.Gox Low.
330  Economy / Securities / Re: Earn 10% On Your Deposits~! PYRAMINING Referrals Here! on: June 10, 2012, 01:37:16 AM
The rate is currently an amazing 10 MH/BTC

That's the hash rate of the new infrastructure that Pyramining is getting, not the hashrate you get when you sign up. (The current rate is ~7 Mh/s/BTC)

Thanks for the clarification.  Smiley
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese Rembimbi on: June 09, 2012, 01:58:12 PM
What the hell is a chinese rembimbi?

I think the OP means RMB, ¥, or CNY. It is the current national currency of China, and is valued at about 1 USD : 6.35 CNY.

To the OP: It is being traded - there is one particular Chinese exchange that had received a lot of attention a few days back due to a huge spike in Trading Volume after some Bitcoiners held a sort of conference with Chinese manufacturers, and the conversation soon moved to Bitcoin.

Nice design and idea Smiley
I believe that a few others have had already thought this up, but good to see a easy-to-use web interface =D

When attempting to confirm my account, however, the page just times out - I can load the home page just fine.

Join the New Pyramining Mining Venture before it gets too late! Unlike what its name suggests, it is NOT a pyramid scheme but instead is an extremely profitable sustainable mining operation.

To get a gist of how it works:
1. You deposit BTC.
2. BTC is (immediately) used to allocate/buy FPGA hardware.
3. Your account is credited with a certain amount of MH/s depending on the amount you deposit (the rate is currently an amazing 7.61  MH/BTC)
4. Every interval (which is in my experience around 4 times everyday) you get a certain amount of BTC back depending on the amount you deposited and your account's MH/s.
5. Once your pending balance reaches 1 BTC (or the fulfillment of your deposit amount + bonus), it sends it to your receiving address.

Typical Bonus is 5%, whereas if you register with a referral, you get 10%!

The estimated breakeven rate is around 8 months right now, much less than any mining bond available! In addition, the amount you deposited previously does not simply go away - you are still allocated that much MH/s, which can be used to quicken later deposits. At least that's what I've been doing  Wink

So register! =D (Profit + Support P2Pool, it's all good!  Cool )

335  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: http://www.pyramining.com/ - Mining Company on: June 06, 2012, 11:11:37 AM
Is it possible to withdraw funds?

It's not possible because I use them to order/buy new hardware. Should you have any issue, write me a PM to discuss about it.
Only reason i ask is because if i understand correctly. The moment my account becomes complete I don't get paid for my bitcoin anymore? And the way it becomes complete is when i breakeven? So technically am i actually making money or am i just making the money back which i deposited?

If the account continues to mine forever then I don't have any gripes against not being able to deposit (for now) but if it stops mining when i break even then there is not real point in investing. Surely it isn't like this though. If you could spare a minute or two to explain to me how this works I'd greatly appreciate it, im slightly hesitant to start throwing money at this.

Im sure it would help others too.

It stops mining once you reach deposit*(1+bonus%). And of course, you can add additional bitcoins to the account that will use the accumulated MH/s to achieve breakeven+bonus even faster.
