322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: china may fuckup bitcoin after russia on: September 27, 2014, 10:50:43 AM
What China gov care about is just protecting CYN and increasing ASICs miner sales to get more taxes. Forget about 51% now, it is in China interest to sell as much as possible ASICs units

Yes, since whole China economy stand on ASICs units.

324  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: September 26, 2014, 12:33:34 PM
There is no topic, do you not understand that?
You mean, I could even ask whether the Eastern mistletoe of North America has sticky pulp inside its berries, like the European mistletoe?
You definitely could do that. The problem is do you think you would get an answer?
It would be very naive of me to expect that, wouldn't it?
But was that a real reason of your naiveness?
Hm... could it be that, sub-consciously, I was expecting an aswer to that question?
Is that why you asked that exact same question in a different thread?  Grin
What different thread?
You never heard of the totally off topic thread?
Does it mean our posts can have parallel lives in parallel threads, like parallel universes?
Or perhaps that thread has the answers to all the questions in this thread, in some order?
Are there answers to each and every questions that our vain philosophy would ever be able to dream of?
Do you demand correct answers, or would any answer do?

Do correct answers exist, or everything is but an illusion?

Are we making a quote pyramid?

Isn't it some kind of quote ponzi?

Some people got rich of ponzi. You dont like ponzi?

326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: so whats the official name of bbr boolberry coin now? on: September 26, 2014, 12:26:51 PM

Switzerland have way to many billionaires.

100,000,000 births this year and 40,000,000 deaths year

With Ebola those 40m deaths will escalate fast. Just wait a year or two.
Ebola has actually killed very few people. It is that it kills ~50% of the people who are affected is what is scaring the world.

I don't think ebola will cause death rates to increase very much. It has been centuries since disease has caused the death rate to significantly increase (the black plague I believe) but medical technology has increased greatly since then

i am sure medical technology increased a lot, but not about Ebola. there is no hmm,  i dont know the English word. thing that you get injected soon after you get born, for many diseases we have and then prevent you to ever get sick of that disease. And there is no cure, for after you already got Ebola.

And it spreads fast, so is win/win situation for Ebola.

The two things of interest that were noted:

a)How this separates us from animals

b)How it is evidence that there is a Creator.  (Creation is another big one).

However, our own sin (evil) can lead us to deny the above.

What separates us from animals is the holy spirit.

9k a year is not that much actually

0.05360334 BTC per day
And it's only 9k for the first year. It's 3k for each subsequent year after.

Affordable by me!
0.01786778 BTC per day

But it sucks, their site is total crap, the main page photo is broken!

They just started. I am sure will be instant success.
331  Other / Off-topic / Re: Marriage Proposal to Satoshi Nakamoto on: September 25, 2014, 09:17:24 PM
Dear Satoshi Nakamoto,

Ever since I first read your glorious paragraphs from the early Bitcoin days, I've fallen in love, Your text is so beautiful, it's like rays of sunshine upon my cognitive functioning. You're fierce determined personality, is like a glorious wind that sweeps in new innovations and idea. So take me awayyyy, take my hand, and let us journey on gloriously together. Our children would be every single Bitcoin user, and through them Bitcoin shall live on and revolutionize everything around us.

-Takes out 100 carat diamond, gold plated ring-

Wi...Will you marry me?

Dont you think she is to old for you?

333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Remembering rallies on: September 25, 2014, 09:04:38 PM
Hard to imagine anyone able to hold onto their coin when the price went up to 1200.

If anyone who hold and didn't sell by then, I can't think of a reason they will ever sell.

Lots of people fail to understand that for many of us, having personal savings in bitcoin *is* the end goal. You don't pull out your retirement fund to convert it into euro when dollar is strong as it is now, do you? Makes no sense for bitcoin, too. Can sell to get as much fiat as you need when the price is right, that's true. But if you don't need fiat, why would you sell the better money? Beats me.

The other thing to keep in mind is that at least now here in the U.S., many bitcoin owners are worried that if they sell btc for fiat, even during a peak, that they'll have to report that as income for tax purposes.  Uncle Sam could get up to 50% of your bitcoin profits, which would defeat the purpose.  So this is likely to dissuade bitcoin owners from divesting too much during future rallies, which actually is a good thing.

Hopefully in the future, there will be less and less reasons to sell btc for fiat.  Someday I want to buy a new custom house directly with bitcoin!

50%?  For what income bracket?

And what are the odds that crypto currencies will eventually destroy the IRS and their ability to track anything?

That would be a great day

I think they will be happy that fiat is gone, since you cant trace fiat, but can trace BTC.
334  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Crashing Again.... on: September 25, 2014, 09:03:17 PM
Don't think Bitcoin is crashing.  It actually looks like it's in a holding pattern of sorts:

"don't think bitcoin is crashing" - that made me LOL

It used to be $1200..

it never was $1200, $1200 was just a peak, an all-time high. It was never stable at $1200

It was $120 or so a year ago for crying out loud.

If you only look at the highest value it has ever been compared to the current price, of course it's never going to be higher.

Like the €3400/coin Wink

Yep lol the real ATH is 3400 euro, and considering its at <340 euro today, bitcoin is officially dead you guys!!

yes it actually fall for 10 times in just a month.
335  Economy / Speculation / Re: view: bitcoin has hit its full potential on: September 25, 2014, 08:58:53 PM
I was around in 2011, and we dreamed of this day, where the world has been exposed to bitcoin.  As the saying goes "be careful what you wish for", there really isn't that much going on for bitcoin, but furthermore, the future of bitcoin.

3 years is really not to much. If you dream and imagine back then exactly as it is now, i doubt you would wrote article like this, since you would have some vision what will be in 3 years from now.
336  Economy / Speculation / Re: My mother's a psychic, here's what she says about BTC on: September 25, 2014, 08:54:58 PM
I am not sure of bubbles, but i am positive, that BTC will be in some point of time worth more then $400
Also there is 0.01% chances, BTC will be dominant crypto for next 100 years.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: IT"S OFFICIAL: Paypal Now Accepts Bitcoin! on: September 25, 2014, 08:51:31 PM
I've been wondering how would such news impact on the price for years. We'll see, we've had good news lately and the price keeps stagnating. Will there be an actual "pay with BTC" button in ebay? if so, when.

It will help to make price of BTC more stable in year to come.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: what happens when all bitcoins are mined ? on: September 25, 2014, 08:50:24 PM
After all bitcoin is mined
Miner only get bitcoin only from tx fee  Sad

But, if bitcoin price never raise up
Only few people will mine it

Maybe bitcoin will add Aux-PoW / PoS / something else
Or hope someone want mine without get profit

No one will be mining in 70 years unless Bitcoin is worth a ton of money. So it is do or die for the Bitcoin exchange rate. Otherwise we will never mine all of them.... unless we will have a difficulty decrease  Wink

It will be difficult for anyone to mine bitcoin  Sad
If bitcoin price is low

It is hard for anyone to mine if to many does mine. if price is low, not many will mine, so it will be easily to mine then.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2,300 billionaires, each holding $600m of cash on average on: September 25, 2014, 08:44:48 PM

billionaires should be prohibited by law and all put in prisons for life time.

Unless they're us ,right? Roll Eyes

no excuses. I would gladly be billionaire and be imprisoned. since would buy my way out anyway.
