The contest starts now and ends March 1st, 2015.

Of course.  What happened to all the partners for the contest (when I brought this up on Reddit, only the mining company spoke up and said they had backed out) . . . Tally Capital, GoCoin, etc. . .  silence.

While I'm here posting, I was reading the news today and ran across a pretty wild article w/ some pictures. People may find the article informative (by analogy) and the artists among us might be able to do something w/ the pictures.

I did mention several times both here and on twitter in the last few months that we are making good progress, and I am in confidentiality agreement with law enforcement agencies. I also encouraged people to follow up with Action Fraud UK directly (if you did, then you would have learned a lot more about what actually is happening, under the same confidentiality agreement).

I hope your actions are in good faith, and if they are then obviously my suspicions should be disregarded. That said, your recent comments aren't doing your credibility any favors.
Well, I have said time and time again that you should not be putting blind faith on me or anyone else. I have urged you dozens of time by now to directly contact Action Fraud UK and follow up with them. I posted our lawyer info publicly too in case anyone wanted to follow up. The burden is now on you, not me.

Let me be very clear: You should not trust anybody in crypto. This space attracts way more scammers than people with good intentions. Verify everything. Stop speculating. Cheers.

TBF, Ferd did say those things.

People have to be their own best advocate. Don't rely on third parties if you don't have to, that's the trust problem Satoshi was dealing with. Ask questions, inspect every word or sentence related to representation about your money or the potential use of it.

Another attempt to pump this shitcoin:

https://hashtalk.org/topic/32583/i-love-good-news-in-the-morning

Garza wants to dump another pile of this crap, he desperately needs money.

All that sounds like it that they will have a co-branded card that will still be entirely $ based. I assume you'll be able to sell your XPY at any time and have the $ placed on the card. Yippee.

http://www.mastercard.us/merchants/assistance/faq-cobranded-cards.html

Haven't read these links - sounds like a giftcard though.

Unbelievable  Roll Eyes shocking actually, exact same old tricks from day one

https://hashtalk.org/topic/32585/paycoin-and-mastercard-align-and-prepare-to-offer-paycoin-debit-cards

https://archive.today/HFGC0

direct relationship with Amazon, Walmart and Target, accepting paycoins directly.....etc

They haven't learned their fucking lesson after all this time? Now direct relationship with Master Card for a paycoin debit card. So this transfer of power to the church amounts to fuck all. Homero and his gang continue to spout lies in order to pump the shit coin. Back to square one. The church has no control or say over his same old tactics despite promising more honesty and transparency.

that's the way gawceo plays it. He hints at something, then some dumbass spins it and created another thread full of assumptions and then people create all these fantasies based on that. Then gawceo comes back and says he never said that. it has been played over and over

He must have fired his legal team that was preventing him from speaking his mind pumping XPY incessantly.

The Word "Trolls"
As part of our efforts for 2015, I think we should try not to use the word "troll." Just a thought.

oops...

The trolls will celebrate forcing you to get your ass in gear. But, again, put up or shut up.

By gawceo's own admission, the trolls have already won - we drew enough attention to shady crap that he couldn't release it into the wild b/c his new legal team said so. Nobody wants to hear that though - due diligence free-loaders.

I have an updated post/article (whatever you want to call it) that includes new details Syscoin was willing to share with me about their case with MooPay LTD:

And the statutory 8% annual interest will of course be included in the final bill (inc. court fees).
Good point. I forgot about that little extra.  Cool

Just consider though, that Ryan will probably leave the country at some point. He had a UK address posted on these boards a while back. Getting the same address as what the  police have on file, would be the key here. Then again, you could go after Katie Hopkins also.

Sometimes I'm really good at reading between the lines, sometimes I'm not.  Here, I'm not.

Can you elaborate on why you used "Katie" as a opposed to "Chelsea" in your post?  Was it a mistake? If it was not a mistake, how do you know "Katie" is correct?  Ryan used a fake name in his corp paperwork and in public, I don't know why  it would be unfathomable for his partner in crime (metaphorical, of course - innocent until proven guilty, etc.) to do the same.

Coinfire said they saw a document confirming this is legit, is it really that hard to confirm ?

Just wrote a little something about this: https://network23.org/dogecoin/2015/02/24/coinfire-coinburned/

"This page is trying to load scripts from unauthenticated sources."

Know why ?

no, works for me.
I didn't say the page didn't load, it did, but you have these SSL issues..

And Firefox: "Some unencrypted elements on this website have been blocked"

Really don't know.  My site is a free site hosted at network23.org where political/dissident-types can publish w/o fear of having their sites taken down.  I'm not a techy at all and just don't have an answer for you.  I just write posts, upload some pics, and hit publish. I do have some RSS fees from google news plugged in there - maybe that's it?

https://i.imgur.com/M8mV9y0.png

Interesting, but tbh I'm not even sure what I'm looking at. To my untrained eye, it looks like the problem is w/ network23.org and not my site per se.  I can see if there is a way to contact the admin people if you'd like?  Nonetheless, I'll pay attention to the back-end of my blog to see if there's anything going on in the future.

Thanks for the heads up.

Who is that again?

Would be interested to know if the phones are even on. Recall:

who is "brendan" with no surname who authored this false looking article ??

nobody in the uk gets remanded in custody for stealing bitcoins ,if he was arrested and jailed  it wasnt in the uk

who arrested them ?

where at ?

where were they transferred ?

they are not currently in the uk prison system

smoke and mirrors everybody ............

All great questions, and CRIMINAL info, after an alleged arrest, is not the same as sensitive info about a civil case. The document should be public record and available for dissemination or at least discussable with some legitimate depth - we don't even know the title of the document, just that its a document (used toiler paper w/ a smiley face written on it is a document).  Ferd noted on Twitter that he was released on bail.  Kind of a big detail to leave out the Coinfire article considering they even interviewed they guy.  Either this reporting is way beneath Coinfire's typical standards or fishiness (Ryan did say say "Thanks for the Fish" upon shutting down Moolah and Mintpal (did that with is last alleged scam too)) Tongue
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Moolah Scam on Mintpal - MintpalJustice.com - Report Missing Funds on: February 24, 2015, 12:58:32 AM

There are some problems w/ that article.  Here's what i posted on the bitcoin subreddit thread about the claim that coinfire verified Syscoin's story:

How? Were the cops called?
EDIT 1 - Guys, I believe the story, but you didn't confirm. Its hearsay. Gotta stick to your typical standards. https://twitter.com/MrFelt_/status/569974121871777792
EDIT 2 - What kind of document? When did the arrests occur? Asserting authenticity or legitimacy of a document passed through several chains of custody, without talking about the chain of custody, does not authenticate said document or prove true the statement its supposed to support. Such standards are how scams persist, yo.
EDIT 3 - Brush up on your moolah history here: https://network23.org/dogecoin/moolah-resources/
EDIT 4 - I believe this to be Ryan's alt twitter account, last active 11hrs ago (a retweet) - the well known encyclopediadramatica article notes he uses his mother's name as an alias: https://twitter.com/amarose60/with_replies
EDIT 5 - I have sources who tell me Ryan's Skype account shows that he's online.

http://www.reddit.com/r/Bitcoin/comments/2wwdtn/alleged_mintpal_scammers_ryan_kennedy_chelsea/couupe5
---------

Need a third party who is not vested in the case or in managing "perceptions" about what's going on (i.e., some people could want the public to think he's been arrested to create some breathing room for themselves). Have no clue, just prefer to have better evidence.
338  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: GAW Miners Paybase Paycoin unofficial uncensored discussion.ALWAYS MAKE MONEY :) on: February 23, 2015, 08:30:15 PM

This actually makes a lot of sense.  Lots of billionaires have everything riding on Bitcoin and Bitcoin is clearly flawed.  Even Bill Gates recently said Bitcoin will not make it and I bet Gates is backing another crypto, probably Ripple or some secret soon to be launched coin.

Garza could have done a better job with the PR and to not promise so much so soon but there does appear to be a very coordinated and massive attack on Garza, PayCoin and PayBase.

Bill Gates is talking about African (and other impoverished areas) remittances specifically, not commerce in developed countries.

Spooky, I haven't thought about ole Joe for ages he just dropped off the planet.  I wonder how much he made off with...

"Off" the planet? Perhaps you mean 6ft into the planet . . .

Side note: keep logging/archiving (legally).  Allegedly moo-folks were arrested recently.  Whatever you have may contribute to whatever LE will do here, for better or for worse.
