321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS WALLET on: August 30, 2019, 08:43:46 AM
Hello Guys.
please who is conversant with EOS Wallet. i finds it difficult to send out tokens in my account. i am using the current scatter software. someone should assist please. i will appreciate.

Hello, you can try look for eos voter wallet, im using it currently. It is a desktop wallet, not like scatter which is browser extension wallet.
But if you want to using website dapps, scatter is a good choice because it is usually compatible with eos dapps in many sites.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops profitable and worth my time ? on: August 30, 2019, 08:19:29 AM
If airdrops were profitable, there would be many peoples joining airdrops already.
for me, airdrop is not too profiting anymore because there are only few projects are good.
bounty is still better than airdrop because the reward will be higher than airdrop.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SCAM ICOs, what we can do? on: August 30, 2019, 06:58:00 AM
Hi, recently so many past-ICOs turned into a scam or a deadcoin.
Is there anything what we can do to punish them? More than 2 years ICOs are scamming us and still people are investing, is this really a world what we want to create?

It will be difficult to punish or sue the dead coin because it is in the zone between scam and not scam project.
But if they are a scam project and already scam many peoples with huge amount of money, SEC may appeared and deal with them.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: what is happening now? on: August 29, 2019, 06:48:52 AM
hello friend,
in 2017 I was very happy when I saw the price of Bitcoin increase in coinmarketcap because when the price of Bitcoin increases, then the price of Altcoin will immediately increase too, but for now when the price of Bitcoin increases and it does not affect for the prices of Altcoin (even still down), then when the price of Bitcoin goes down and at that time the price of Altcoin will go down too, so I do not understand the current state of the market and what is happening right now.

I guess it is because there were many bad projects in the past, destroying the crypto sphere.
Peoples who lost much money from scam projects, are no longer investing in crypto project,
liquidating all of their coins, and the price become dump in the market.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Are airdrops safe? on: August 29, 2019, 06:32:46 AM
The way they usually work is they give you some string and you sign it to prove you own the address.

Could a malicious air drop make a transaction sending all your BTC to them, and then you sign it, and then they broadcast it to the network?
Or is signing a message different than signing a transaction?

Weird, airdrop distribution should not requiring to sign anything. What is the purpose of the sign ?
Peoples with multi accounts that joining in airdrop are able to sign as well, so it doesn't prevent cheaters from joining that airdrop.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can we stop promoting scam project? on: August 29, 2019, 06:27:47 AM
Most of the bounty hunters do not get payment despite their hard working and some gets a little with shit token. Can we prevent it? Just an idea.

What if we everybody stop to promote a project which offers only token?
For launching a project, the project owner or developer should have some money to promote the project. Say for example- they have to escrow a minimum of 40% of the bounty allocation in term of usd or btc. Only then we can prevent scam ico and bounty hunter will get their money. Can we start following this rule?

If we knew the project is scam, we would not promote the project from the start.
The problem is we find that it is not easy to find out whether the project is scam or not in short time.
Need some time to conduct research about the company.

329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: How does a perfect Bounty Campaign looks like? on: August 12, 2019, 02:10:01 AM
There is no perfect bounty campaign in these days. You will find the campaign has a big reward, but their sale is not too good,
or you will find the project sales is good but the reward is small. I think it will be safer if we choose a good project but small reward.
330  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin: BitWings (BWN) ICO on: August 12, 2019, 01:55:45 AM
The Bitwings ICO Public Sale started on May 1, 2019, and will ends when all 159 Million BWN are sold, or on June 30, 2019, whichever comes first.

Bitwings: Wings mobile is the first ultra-secure blockchain phone is able to produce up to 2 Ethereum in a month, isn’t that amazing. The Wings Minephone WX1000™ smartphone is the first NEURAL hybrid phone (VoIP / GSM / NeuralChip) and a world’s first for holding the highest level of security, protecting both hardware and software.

The first dedicated high security laptop is available in two versions: 15.6 inches and 14 inches.

this is a success for blockchain and Technology

Did you trying to promote the bitwings project or warn the community about the project ?
Im afraid that if the phone really able to mining 2 eth / month, the difficult of ethereum mining will skyrocketing.
331  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IEO be good in the future? on: August 11, 2019, 01:57:37 PM
I have now some money but still earning to invest more in an IEO. I have heard celer IEO and investor get x6 of its investment. I was move away by this profit in an instant, i want also so i keep money, my question is after all good feedback of IEO, will IEO be like Ico which failed in the market or will IEO be last longer?

As we can see for now, there are many peoples still eager to investing in IEO, for example in binance exchange.
IEO can reducing the number of scam projects in cryptocurrency, give confidence to investors.
And the result, i think IEO will be good even in the future.
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are ICOs dead? on: August 09, 2019, 01:58:18 AM
Not all of ICOs are dead, there are some of them are still running.
Despite we know that ICO don't attract too many investors than IEO, they are not vanished completely.
The Altcoin Announcement section forum is filled with many ICOs and IEOs you can find.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LINE Will Launch Cryptocurrency Exchange on: August 09, 2019, 01:34:52 AM
Line Corp is said to be launching a cryptocurrency exchange. This news appeared shortly after Facebook revealed Libra, their digital currency.

Line will receive its cryptocurrency exchange license in the near future, precisely this June. Then the crypto currency exchange will operate several weeks after they get permission.

The exchange of the crypto will be called BitMax, and with its presence, 80 million Line users in Japan can buy and exchange crypto currencies such as Bitcoin and Line's crypto currency called Link.

Seriously ? Im using line for my messenger app in my phone.
I guess because facebook created their own cryptocurrency, the other social media platforms will trying to follow.
Could you provide some resource link about the news here ?
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Managers do not Determine the Legitimacy of a Cryptocurrency Project on: August 08, 2019, 05:02:20 AM
Indeed, but i know some legendary members of bitcointalk usually running a legit campaign.
They usually pay the participants in BTC, most of the campaigns are signature campaign.
But we should do our own research about the project without regarding who the bounty manager is.
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: can exchange services sell my personal data? on: August 07, 2019, 03:35:46 AM
Hello! What is an average fee you pay to crypto exchanger? I use changelly and pay just 0.25% and I think this is pretty weird. How do they make money? Sometimes I think that they sell users data and I'm thinking to pick another exchanger.

The fee of the crypto exchange is enough to generate profit for them if they have many active users.
Usually fee not only comes from trading activities, also from withdrawals. With this, the exchange can make enough money to maintaining the exchange.
336  Other / Archival / Re: IDAX pro SCAMMED on: August 07, 2019, 03:21:56 AM
Is it true that IDAX pro does scamers against IEO in IDAX? like Crypto Market Ads the money has been taken by IDAX for $ 5,000,000 USD.

https://medium.com/@info_85454/idax-pro-scammed-crypto-projects-for-up-to-5-000-000-usd-c2d10a0dd14e

What is your response about this

Im not too shocked about that, the name of the exchange can misleading peoples to other exchange like IDEX.
I feel sorry for the parties who has been scammed by IDAX cryptocurrency exchange.
We should very careful when using new exchange, and avoid using it with big amount of coins to reduce the risk.
337  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: August 06, 2019, 01:37:41 AM
Are you frustrated when you experience defeat in trading? yes I experienced this ... I have lost $ 1000 dollars in the past 2 hours ... I did not switch with another coin and I just focused on the initial coin. but in fact I was still losing, in my opinion trading was not much different from gambling.

What did you do to your $1000 just only 2 hours ? You should not lose such money in short time.
If you want to be a trader, you must not afraid to sell your coin if the price keep going down.
You should set target when you must sell, and buy. For example if the price -10%, you must sell the coin.
With this way, you won't lose your money easily.
338  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounty Projects Paying Out in Bitcoin or Ethereum Instead of Bounty Native Token on: August 06, 2019, 01:27:00 AM
If the project wants to pay hunters with bitcoin or ethereum, the allocation pool usually small, but it is ok.
They should not cut the reward when their token price goes up because it won't be fair.
We should join bounty with the fixed reward, no rule about changing reward at any time.

340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why did you choose your current exchange? on: August 05, 2019, 04:56:44 AM
The reason i keep using the same crypto exchange is because the deposit and withdrawal gone smooth.
If you doing arbitrage trading, deposits and withdrawals must be done quickly to fill the book orders.
With good exchange, this method can give profit to arbitrage traders.
