try upping your rpcthreads=499 and see what happens. It could be that the wallet isnt putting out work fast enough and its getting stale blocks.

no i stopped the posncoin until i can figure out the why its rejecting the blocks
I am not sure but do you have the conf set to only mine psn? If so it will reject all of the other coins and you may not have had a psn block hit yet. |

Looks like the price of the coin is slowly going up, which is awesome and no major dumps in price. Very excited about this coin.
Plus every time I look at the forums, there are so many new pages and new interest in it. So hard to catch up but definitely worth reading.
I'm seeing something a little bit different. When I try set a price to buy some Onions, within seconds somebody comes and sets a better price by two Satoshi's with a bid for 400+ Onions. This was last night. It's basically forcing me to buy it at higher price. Then others come are foced to buy at at higher price, until the price was .00031499, and then the person who was doing this removes all his sell others and dumps the coin, having the price go back down to .0002500. Such a person I would assume would also come here to talk about how it's a good opportunity to buy. Not that I'm saying that's you, just explaining how it works. Happens with any coin, day/night traders. They make hundreds of trades a day just to make a few coins extra. It's annoying though. Not good for coins when a person is playing such games. It actually decreases the value of the coins, even with the momentarily pump. I was warning against this back when the coin reached $5, even though I bought at a lot cheaper, that screwed over a lot of people. You were getting played by a bot. It didnt sound like a very smart bot either and you could have worked it into buying a sell order. I dont find them annoying i find them useful for selling my coins at a much higher rate than just dumping on the buy orders. |

if you get some blocks you will be lost but go to the debug window and check out the conf file parameters and there is some to change the wallet to different
coin names like p10 psn is the default coin so you could restart and see your balance of the p10 blocks. you will see its different than anything i have ever
mined. psn is the default coin so that is all the balance you will see until you restart the wallet with another coin as default.

I have concern! can I transfer or copy my wallet to another computer?
I have laptop in office but I want to transfer my wallet address to my personal pc at home!
It is possible and can this be done?

Copie your wallet.dat transfer to new computer to file in your comp roaming/DeepOnion/wallet.dat and then run deeponion-qt as admin. Will run like crazy 😜 I really hope you understand this one. Never run any wallet with admin priveledges period. not linux not mac and not windows. |

ohh i just spotted your issue i had the same issue. your conf file should be called posncoin.conf then it will work perfectly. i had the same issue yesterday.

Then just aim your miner at the computer with the wallet on it. if that computers local address is 192.168.0.1 then use that address and :50414
|

Thank you, tried that as well with no luck. I have a really good GPU, perhaps I should go that route?
BTW, this is the exact error

can i ask is your gpu on the same computer as the wallet or not. if not then use rpcallowip=192.168.*.* the astric is a wild card and any miner in the local network can mine on it. |

minerd is the same the -t 1 is how many cores of the cpu you want to use and you dont want to use all of the cores leave one core for the computer to run on.

omg, I feel like a crypto novice again So here's what I've done so far. I have my pos-n and cpuminer folders in the same folder on my c: drive In my AppData folder, I created a pos-n.conf file with my settings rpcuser=username rpcpassword=password rpcallowip=* server=1 (i've tried with and without this) addnode=162.254.26.79 I start my wallet, then CMD and paste the following "C:\crypto\cpuminer\minerd.exe" -a scrypt -u username -p password -o 127.0.0.1:50414 I get that http failed and json error, any guidance much appreciated  conf rpcuser= rpcpassword= rpcallowip=127.0.0.1 rpcthreads=199 server=1 gen=0 daemon=1 listen=1 rpcport=50414 port=29861 addnode=80.208.230.14:29861 addnode=24.220.149.200 addnode=162.254.26.79 cpuminer-x64 -a scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:50414 -u username -p xpassword -t 1 good luck with a cpu but this should work no problems. |

I so want to mine this, but I don't remember how to mine, I think I spent too much time on the POS side last couple years. Would love to see a pool. If anyone cab point me to a step by step resource to mine this on windows, would appreciate it. Meanwhile, I'll keep diggin
I would enjoy seening how a pool handles payout of multi coins mined in one wallet. If you have not mined this solo you should just to see what is happening. |

I am just trying to figure out how to see balances of the different coins in the wallet. So in the conf file i would have to put in defaultcurrency=p10 and start the wallet up and it would show me the balance of the p10 coins and would also pos those coins? I am not really positive about this and never tried a wallet quite like this one.

Found this coin from users signatures and I'm so glad I did. DeepOnion looks VERY promising and I feel I can bring alot to the table being an expert in website designing, graphic designing, search engine marketing, and being an article/blog writer for 15 years. I feel with a nice makeover this coin can be up there with dash/monero even better since this coin is TOR integrated for anonymous transactions. Will go check out deeponion.org for more info! Sorry, but Im really careful, since I use this computer for more than one wallet. Its a download from a third part, there is always the possibility of a virus. Its too risky
You won't be able to download most of the cryptocurrency related stuff then This is a false positive the wallet has a buildt in miner and you could mine the wallet with a cpu if you want. Lately everyone has been taking out the buildt in miner so that anti virus programs dont complain but most older wallets will get this warning. |

can i ask you have you gotten your mac operation system to run a DeepOnion wallet with those dirrections? I've had the same issue with other wallets and created a .conf file, added the nodes and everything worked just fine. (on a Macbook Pro) If you need any help let me know though, I can most likely help you out. Good job dude cause making one for a windows comp is not the same as makiing one for a mac and i am glad you cleared this up. |
