Well, the German authorities seem to be of different opinion: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=117008.0A first interpetation seems to classify BTC as a finance instrument, though not a currency, nevertheless all finance instruments require regulations. Ofcourse this is just a first statement made by the authorities and an actual legal case still has to proof this statement. |
