When i am trying to sign in it asks password to unlock the wallet then this error is appearing. what to do? I have tried by unlocking it first but same result,.
Zef: I ran into the same problem. I think it is one of the wallet quirks that will need fixed.

Hmm, what this could mean: # CoinAidd getpeerinfo [ { "addr" : "94.114.48.67:18867", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1501015723, "lastrecv" : 1501015723, "conntime" : 1501002065, "version" : 60013, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.0.0/", "inbound" : true, "startingheight" : 658324, "banscore" : 0 }, { "addr" : "94.114.48.67:57565", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1501015670, "lastrecv" : 1501015670, "conntime" : 1501010555, "version" : 60013, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.0.0/", "inbound" : true, "startingheight" : 630873, "banscore" : 0 }, { "addr" : "94.114.48.67:61818", "services" : "00000001", "lastsend" : 1501014405, "lastrecv" : 1501014405, "conntime" : 1501014405, "version" : 60013, "subver" : "/Satoshi:1.0.0/", "inbound" : true, "startingheight" : 650185, "banscore" : 0 } ] I got this from freshly started CoinAidd. There is a single IP address with 3 different wallets running, at 3 different blockheights? Very odd!

Shveicar - Very impressed with you patience and persistence in helping Nubbins with his wallet problem. I kept thinking you can't have 2 files - same name (wallet.dat) in the same folder.
Often it is a matter of understanding what someone is trying to say. You went the extra mile. You are a part of what makes this a great community.
Thank you!

but wow, not one single block confirmed since yesterday, and still have 100 to go... anything else we can do to help?
You must just wait until Vegas' blocks mature. If you POS then you have to wait a zillion blocks again. Same happened top me. As his blocks mature, the chain will jump way ahead. I know patience. Ask your wife if she has any extra.

Another poss. is if there was a seed node, it could have expired.

I have a wallet with a 1000 or so FLY in it, as soon as I find it I will start staking to move the block chain. I will probably end up losing it all, as it will be the last wallet staking.
Actually, Vegas is keeping the swapped coins staking to move the chain. As you know, it takes 7 days for the coins to mature so, that is why the chain moves a lot of blocks and then, gets stalled until they mature again. MM - don't stake - just get a swap address and then, send them to Vegas. As the chain moves, they will clear. Mine took 10 days and Vegas is extending the swap due to this known problem.

Vegas said deadline is flexible, so you will be alright. The slow chain is a known problem. I just got mine swapped a couple days ago. Basically, the swapped coins are moving the chain. As more swap, only those swapped coins can move the chain and they need to mature. You should see a big jump in blocks as they mature.

This coin is useless. How must I stake or even get my coins if the wallet in yobit is broken ? I wish they would tell us these things. I was looking forward to profiting nicely off this coin. Unfortunately - good coin - lost in space developer. Maybe someday someone will take over and resurrect it. As far as Yobit, lots coins often go into "maintenance there. A few emails showing there is still interest to buy or sell usually gets them out of maintenance

I cant find any info about this project. Website link from first post in this thread doesn't work. What is this about?
Join the BlockPioneers Slack - You will find very active conversations. Essentially, the coins you buy give you shares in a new exchange that is being developed. Exchanges make money on every buy and sell so you don't care what the volume is. The many holders of the coins will promote it like crazy which will create more volume. Like every coin, there are risks.

Fly wallet was stuck as most know. I was waiting 7 days to clear transactions needing 130 blocks. Then, yesterday the blocks when flying by and I was able to send my coins for the swap. Thanks Vegas for getting the chain moving in Fly.

A question: With fixed block rewards, it becomes important to have coins in many blocks vs., say 1 large block. Has any testing been done on the best block size to POS in a reasonable time while not having too may coins in 1 input block?

Hmmm... It is what it is! But I don't think a 65% MN 35% POS split of the block is a slight advantage. Approx. 2:1 is significant. Not an objection because the MN ties up 10k DMD's but, it was stated many times that MN would be a slight advantage over POS. Examples given were 25% POS and 30%+ MN. If the block rewards are set for about 25% annual return, and 2/3's goes to MN doesn't that mean that the POS of 25% becomes 12.5%. Again not a complaint, as I will probably run 2 MN's but, just seeking clarity. What am I missing?

|
|
Does anyone have a quick estimate of when the POS will drop to 5%?
Yes - many years.

|
|
Anyone else have problems as wallet stuck at 25% sync all day. one node
Mine stuck at 50% - re-started wallet and it stuck for a while at 50% then, completed syncing. For a while I had 3 peers but, now only 1
