Just checked in tried the new speed-update you guys implemented. All I can say is WOW!!!!!!! I've never betted nearly as fast on any other site. Great stuff, you guys rock!
i also just tested this bet accelerator with auto-betting and it goes smoothly with super fast rolling dice, it has similar rolling speed like fortunejack dice have, anyway this nice implementation to any dice site, i think house edge for virtual racing is little high when a player has only 20% winning chance to reduce the house for horse racing to attract player for betting there. It has the standard house edge of 1%, less during happy hour and active Luck Forging. Also, we're working on making the horse betting more varied, with varied odds, etc. but this will take a while ... but the horse game will improve dramatically in the future. this nice news about horse betting i also like to put bets on them but the current graphics are not impressive and need much improvements there. To tell you the truth, we've debated about this internally quite a bit and came to the conclusion that we like the current 'cartoonish' (for lack of a better word) best. We had a more realistic set of graphics and we experimented with but it just didn't look right. We may revisit this issue at a later point in time, once the current madness of bug fixing and performance tuning subsides. If anybody else has opinions about the horse race graphics (like them, hate them, ambivalent, etc.) I'd love to hear them. I play the horse-race game from time to time and think it's fun. The graphics don't bother me, I actually think they're sort of cute (yeah, what a manly word to use from someone with my username  ) More options/choices/variations on the betting scenarios would be nice though. Yeah, we hear you. This will be happening, although when exactly is unclear at this point. We currently have a lot on our plate and already have definitive plans for some pretty cool site upgrades/additions. |

We rolled out another small update last night (see the dev post (2nd post of this thread) for details). A larger update with some new features will be pushed into production later today or tomorrow.
Now that our database is growing rather rapidly, we're busy performance testing/tuning and making sure that we deliver the best performance possible.

What is current max payout? I want to try some larger bets with luck forging activated.
May payout per bet right now is a little over 1BTC since we have a little over 100BTC in our bankroll (basically max-payout per bet is 1% of bankroll). We'll be talking to MoneyPot to increase this since with the heightened activity over the past few days, some players have come close to hitting that limit. We'll post here once we have an update on this. |

I see that betterbet have a raffle promotions . Does this promotions comes from their own expenses? or that moneypot has a part in it too?
Raffle promotions and other bonuses/prizes we pay out come out of our own pockets. |

as i understand that person asking for play as guest player/anonymous without any kind of registration like many dice sites has that features when any player visit that site his account automatically created and than he wish to enter password to make save or not it is all about on player's choice.
It is impossible to do so because they are integrated with moneypot and player needs to register at moneypot to be able to play at betterbets. Unless Lobos could make an auto registration in moneypot each time new players visit the site, this would help with the registration process though P.S : registration is moneypot is actually simple, username and password only. Email is optional Correct. We don't have the ability to auto-create user accounts on MoneyPot. Maybe that feature will come in the future but for now we have to accept the registration process for what it is. You wanted fast betting, we delivered. Now, what else do you want?  #1 Zig zag autobet feature, bet for H if lose/win change to L instead #2 Ability to view the details of the X roll number such as multiplier, wagered, hashes etc #3 Ability to check on other user profile. Bjorn beat me to it with his infographic so you already know it's live. I just wanted to give you all some statistics: with the new code, if you use the slider to speed it up all the way, bets will be about 2.5 to 3 times as fast as before (this depends on many factors such as network latency, etc). But on a decent network connection you should now see about 5 bets/second. You wanted fast betting, we delivered. Now, what else do you want? |

But in my case, when I got the notification " your balance is not enough" I saw my balance is more than enough (3.2mbtc). But after I refreshed it, I saw my actual balance (0.27mbtc)
It means that my balance was not updated..at least for the last several bets.

Yes It is because your balance is not enough. The problem for this is because that the last bet result is not updated according to the sequence of the roll but instead it is updated after the next roll is executed i.e Balance 10 satoshi Bet 1 satoshi lose -->> Balance still 10 satoshi Bet 1 satoshi again lose --->> balance will be 9 satoshi ( balance updated after the next roll which should be 8 satoshi instead now) If you are autobetting, you could stop and restart your autobetting, therefore your balance will be updated as well without refreshing the page P.S : happened to me while autobetting This is an entirely correct diagnosis of what's happening (nice job arallmuus). I'll see if I can fix that to force updating of balance upon receiving that error. |

Seems that my balance was not updated during the the autobet, so I was shocked at that time, and did not try to refresh it. After I refreshed it I could see my current balance, and yes my current balance is not enough. Sorry for this, I did not know about this bug before. I'm asking because I've run the bot a lot for testing purposes and except for some minor rounding errors (which I'm getting resolved) the balance has always updated perfectly. Usually what happens in this type of scenario is this: you start with a base bet amount and set a multiplier on loss. Then, as you go through a series of losses, your bet amount increases until at some point it exceeds your balance. Are you sure that this is NOT what happened? I ask because like I said above, I've tested the bot extensively and have never seen problems with it updating the balance. |

Since you are using moneypot's balance for your bankroll, this means that you as an admin could play at the site as well and drain's moneypot balance isnt it since you know the server hash and could know whats the next roll will be?
No, this is not possible since our systems are more integrated than that. We don't generate the rolls (ie: server hash, salt & resulting roll) locally. Instead all of these are generated on the MoneyPot servers and we get them via an API call. So we have as much advance prior knowledge of future rolls as any other casual user of our site (ie: none). Here are the the things we can't do: - Pre-determine future rolls - Manipulate rolls to influence their outcome - Steal the MoneyPot bankroll assigned to our site - etc. Basically, by using our site you are guaranteed that we are unable to game the system in any way, shape or form.Great question, they do use MoneyPot's balance as the bankroll and for that precise reason they don't have access to any privileged information. In fact, they know exactly as much as you know and you can actually create an app now ( https://www.moneypot.com/apps/new ) , and use the very same API that betterbets.io is using. In the end will it be correct to assume that the owner of betterbets will be just like another normal user who play at the site since they will have no access to most things ? I assume the account thing is handled by moneypot as well since it is integrated with moneypot Correct. The only thing we store locally which influence the behavior of your account/session, are the settings you can change in the "Your Account" section/sidebar which are: 1) Email Address (optional) 2) Client Seed 3) % of Raffle Tickets you wish to redeem Of course we also keep some other data (rolls taken, wins, losses, amount wagered, etc) but these are purely for statistics purposes. All other account fields (balance, server seed & bet generation, etc) are handled by Moneypot. We retrieve them via an API call and display them, but in terms of taking bets, we go through exactly the same process as any other/regular user. We have no inside knowledge of future bets and and thus are at no advantage whatsoever when compared to a regular user. |

I had been away on Business for few days and when I checked back in, I noticed a large number of small changes which fixed many of the little glitches you guys had at launch. Nice job!
I like the horse game before, but with the the new speed slider, it's even more addicting than it was before (because I'm too impatient to sit during a lot of rolls at regular speed). I played a little mini-martingale on it and made 0.08 BTC in like 3 minutes. Very cool.
Keep it up guys, you're a welcome new addition to the btc-gambling scene.

We've just pushed out a pretty large set of patches onto the site which fix a lot of minor (and some not so minor) stuff. On top of the fixes, this also adds French translation for the site.

on my side auto betting stopped working after every 25 bets and i have to start manually after this, that happened till now more than 4 times now, are you fixing auto bet function. This is the issue we're referring to although you seem to be having particularly bad luck with it if it breaks after 25 bets. So far our diagnostics show that's it not a problem with the auto-betting code but rather a network related issue. We hope to have a solution in place soon. P.S : Im having trouble with autobetting since you have fixed the autobetting, it keep on stopping like after 300-500 bets even though my connection is on its prime, its happened to "trinity" too I guess
Are you getting any sort of error message/popup? If you are getting an error popup, it would be helpful for you to help us determine the cause of this. To do this, please open your debug console (in GoogleChrome press Ctrl-Shift-J) and then watch the console while the bot is running. When the bot stops, check your "Console" tab for an error and also check your network tab to see the response received for the request which caused the reset. Please forward this info to us and we'll see what's going on. Thanks in advance. Got some pop up but I didnt read it and I have sent you what written at my debug console via PM This seems to be a bug  The percentage bar turn in a "type-able" number bar , this only happen if you click chat, chat 1x then click on my account options. If you refresh your page then it will be back to normal Bug has been fixed. This fix (along with a bunch of others) will be pushed to production within 24 hours.
