What's your offer for 8008.5 ATC?

A bitcent?

I have 407,000

Forgot to add the k to the end of 407k

So then half a btc.
322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] The REAL Altcoin on: February 01, 2014, 11:57:48 PM
I've got about 407 of these that I don't care about saving

Who wants to buy like 8% of the coins so far?  Wink

If I actually had a wallet and it weren't less than the tx fee I'd offer 0.0005 BTC on that.

Mine moar.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] The REAL Altcoin on: February 01, 2014, 11:17:08 PM
This is Bitcoin block explorer. I was speaking of Altcoins.

So you see my point, do you.

...wondering how you can afford to pay bounties?
Quote from: ThickAsThieves
Are there any words that can account for something that has yet to happen?
Yes. It's known as "communicating your plans to others". Without doing this, it's hard to be sure of other people's support.
I told you the plan, no?
No. You told us your ideas.
I have 'plans' to buy a couple of RollsRoyces. But unless I've got a spare GBP200k (or the means to get it), it's just an idea, not a plan.
So can I ask: do you have a PLAN for funding bounties, or are you just wee-weeing into the wind?

Quote
You just wanted assurances, so I gave you some!
I see no assurances (=guarantees) in your reply. Did you mean reassurance, which is a much more vague critter?
And no, if I'd wanted reassurance I'd be, like: "ooh, I'm not sure if I'm doing the right thing here, could someone please tell me I'm OK?"

Compare this with someone seeking answers who asks: "how are you planning to do this?"

The problem here is that we don't know who you are and we don't care, whereas you don't know who he is and do care.

The solution here isn't to whine at us, but to go do your reading.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] The REAL Altcoin on: February 01, 2014, 11:07:16 PM
Anyway, Thanks for donations to 15Ucc3jBx1ZUamR18EsjdSbSzARXtUjbPF
I actually recieved some. :-)

MPOE: Well, I still know of nothing better than science for trying to understand this world by putting it on solid objective basis. Just... we can never be sure that we are right. But the probability is overwhelmingly better with some laws than with another.

So the difficulty is about 8900x lower than BTC. Hashrate should be 2.38 THash/s. Yep, you are right. But "more significant" SHA256 altcoins have larger diff than 250k. Terracoin has 600k.

Did you receive some in the physical or in the metaphysical sense?
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] The REAL Altcoin on: February 01, 2014, 10:53:05 PM
Blocks are being solved between 8 and 10 seconds each. The diff can't even come close to keeping up, that's the problem. People are pointing some big rigs at this and gobbling them.

So 10 seconds instead of 10 minutes at 4k difficulty means the real difficulty as calculated from actual hash is somewhere around 250k? That's not really so much or is it?

Bitcoin has 2bn on 20Ph, so then ATC has ~2Thash on it atm? Wow. Did I do the math wrong or is this really larger than all other altcoins atm?

nature is not metaphysical as it follows the laws of physics. Those laws might not be in our grasp, we will never know them fully and we can never be sure that our senses are not deceived at any given time or even all the time.

The rest of your post just went away.
326  Economy / Securities / Re: pre-IPO investment in retail business in China on: February 01, 2014, 09:55:15 PM
We are new here, every startup starts from the ground. Company infor can be disclosed more if restrictions in China clarified in future. Apparently without the company infor our trust will be underestimated, but we are still trying to do this full ahead. Serious investors welcomed.

Serious investors consider serious offerings, not sets of vague promises from unestablished non-entities. Now would be the time to study, learn, and build correctly. The specifically wrong thing to do is pretend that you're exempt because of fear or uncertainty or whatever the excuse ends up being.

See here.

Sooo...complete rip-off the TAT bonds, except as a complete nobody. See here and take a year off to study more.

What I'm saying is, I will show you what you want to hear.

The leading of horse to watering therefore has not gone.

Heh, wasn't expecting donations, but OK. Maybe my wife won't bug me about wasting my time...

Nor does coinwarz lie! #1 profitable coin already!

Hey Xu, MP sez "give the kid 0.01 BTC bounty, for his agility". So post an address.

Where is the marketplace for these coins?

On IRC.

Sigh... Sometimes even obvious irony is not obvious...

You know, this is a formal law of nature.

You are correct. Auction officially ended. My worthless litecoin has no value when compared to Altcoin. In fact, I am deleting my wallet.dat for my litecoins to free up hard drive space to make room for all of my Altcoins.

Preach it, playing-card-figure-guy!
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] The REAL Altcoin on: February 01, 2014, 03:55:46 PM
Come on, get a brain, find some real differentiator ... your coin is just yet another crap showing your lack of innovation ...

Don't hate just because you're not part of the leet kids.
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] The REAL Altcoin on: February 01, 2014, 03:51:48 AM
The difference is that you'd be mining the wrong coin.

All altcoins are altcoins, but only one altcoin is Altcoin.

Dogecoin's logo is ugly anyway. Yeah, I said it.

It's not ugly, it's just stupid. And fat.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [NEW] The REAL Altcoin - Act fast! on: February 01, 2014, 12:51:19 AM
this is the next asicminer

Wow! Over one hundred blocks mined! Such Altcoin! Much better!
335  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Coinex.IO on: January 31, 2014, 08:22:17 PM
Coinex.IO has launched and is now preparing for initial payouts for January equity holdings.

We're a transparent company providing the best investment profits for everyday people.
Our system is unique, our thoughts are creative, and our strategy is sound.

You're about as opaque as possible, you're not providing anything, investment isn't for everyday people, your "system" is not unique, your thoughts as presented are not particularly creative, and your strategy thus far is the pits.

Saying you've got something doesn't make that something materialize.

Call 2-3 examples of offers which are looking as nearly as serious and available as this, where you can invest your BTC with a ROI comparable to this and fullfill all the requirements of the linked thread from you.
(beside buying own hardware or invest > 10K)

Look, it's understandable that you'd be a bit in the dark, being new and all. So you read. You can start with my post history. What you don't get to do is eschew putting in the work in favor of cheering stuff on because you've personally decided you think an operator is nice and you feel like they wouldn't want to scam you.

Get informed first, then vouch (or not).
337  Economy / Collectibles / Re: portraits, commissions, and original paintings by Maureen Gubia on: January 31, 2014, 04:16:57 PM
Would you not be posting pictures after? I'd want to see this  Grin.

Yeah he'll be posting it, on his blog.

@SaSp: You probably have a point, but there's nothing wrong with expanding networks, and that expansion happens through actual use. So...there we go. Funded.
338  Economy / Collectibles / Re: portraits, commissions, and original paintings by Maureen Gubia on: January 31, 2014, 02:51:03 PM
Ok, so the deal is: SaltySpitoon gives me an addy, I'll send 0.505 BTC there (incl his fee), which he confirms. I'll send you a mailing address, at which a hand painted MP-as-Hitler piece of artwork is delivered before April 1st, 2014, as otherwise specified in this thread. Upon receipt I notify teh Spitoon, so he can release the escrow. Upon nonreceipt I idem notify teh Spitoon, so he can release the escrow. Except in case of a dispute you're barred from posting pictures of the thing, because MP wants to do it himself.

Also, good call on making your WoT, I guess you'll be getting your first rating from MP himself.

In MP's case I would be willing to escrow from his known payment address to the painter's known receiving address. I'd also be willing to do a simple neg rating to the breeching party.

Well yeah but by the looks of it he probably doesn't know you either.
339  Economy / Collectibles / Re: portraits, commissions, and original paintings by Maureen Gubia on: January 31, 2014, 01:15:38 AM
no offense but i would rather use salty or john, or TECSHARE. ive worked with all of them in the past and i can trust them

I guess saltyspitoon marginally qualifies, I've sent him a pm.
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where are all the Bitcoin millionaires? on: January 30, 2014, 10:09:03 PM
If more bitcoin millionaires were on youtube I think the price of bitcoin would go up.

It's a win win for everyone, so get on youtube bitcoin millionaires.

If I had a few million I'd be building mining rigs to help the homeless, feed the hungry etc.

No, you're really just a fucktard, that's all.

No, theymos used to have a glowing bar on her ignore so new people could see she is highly ignore. this person has a very interesting history and is more or less ignored by the established bitcoin community. theymos really needs to fix that bar thing again.

Funny how the scammers come out of the woodwork every time the price moves a little. Back in 2011 you were supposedly running some mining farm nobody ever saw. Back in 2012 you were the chief shill running fake assets on the Global Scam Exchange. At which point you were also banned, for being pretty much the worst scum on this forum.

Now you're talking about "the community"? Why, because fucktards like this prolifik schmuck weren't around and don't have a clue?

Right-o.
