That free week flew by so fast, and congrats to the finalist. Rooting for execijutiere on the finals and maybe bet if it becomes a thing again.

I'm hoping that my EURO luck carries over from the other contest since i've been doing well over there for a couple of rounds.  Grin
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 24, 2024, 12:44:24 AM
They've won 2-0 against the Execration but too bad that they're able to lose against the Aurora Esports 2-0 as well. I think that if Aurora took the first slot and won against Talon Esports, and this was Talon and TNC. I think that it was a different story but then, better luck next season TNC.
I was close to taking their handicap against Aurora, and i'm glad I skipped because Aurora is still at another level.

That lower bracket finals from Tundra went as expected and props to Quest for the free odds. Tongue Even though they dropped a map it felt like they trolled in the second map by picking TB support after that, they went back to serious mode in map three.

Anyway, There isnt going to be any top tier tournaments or qualifiers left until Riyadh isnt it? so anything good on cs2?
Thanks Smiley and yes, there's not much interesting going on within the next few weeks for Dota while CS2 is in the offseason with the roster shuffles.
323  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which is easier, to quit when winning or to quit when losing? on: June 23, 2024, 03:53:09 PM
Whenever i'm winning and i've more than doubled my bankroll, i'll keep betting until my luck runs dry. There's nothing better than taking advantage of your luck while you're still on that hot winning streak and trying to get the most out of it because the next part would easily encourage you to quit.

If i'm down to my last $10, I usually keep betting to see where my luck takes me because i've had moments when my luck turns for the better while risking whatever's left in my gambling account. Then again, i've also had a lot of losing days where i'd quit before it got worse. It's always easy to get sucked into those losing situations and it's one of the last things you want to go through.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 23, 2024, 03:36:08 AM
Ceb was the remaining one and he's needed to be there but I like him in all aspects of being him except being trashtalker in the pub and he knows what to set his priorities first and that's his family.
I guess we're wrong after seeing them play earlier today, but instead, they're the ones who got eliminated.  Lips sealed

For the last day of the qualifiers, i'm going to hop on the TNC train, I didn't expect them to have this high of an odds against Execration as they're relying mostly on the Zeus mid and I don't know what would be their other option once it gets fully banned throughout this series. With the given odds, I had to skip the moneyline and take the handicap as the alternative, most of the series ended in 2-0s so whoever wins should likely sweep the series.

I hope you guys already opted in for this promo as I only saw it today at the bottom of the promo page. The only requirement is to reach the specified weekly wager and all types of sports bet count.

This daily special for the Germany match would've been an instant bet if they had the clean sheet on the other leg.  Tongue

Well done to most of us who survived, this is the crucial round since we're only one round away from that sweet free bet.  Cheesy

I'm winging most of my predictions in this final round of the groups as I think any research won't convince me to switch anything.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: June 22, 2024, 04:30:39 PM
I'm surprised that Ceb still played with OG, but unfortunately, they're still eliminated by Navi Juniors. I thought they'd at least reach the LB final if OG played this series, I guess that's what happens when their mid player is kind of struggling.

On the other hand, Entity is the first team to qualify in the WEU region and while map three was ongoing, I managed to grab their live odds around 1.80. The Grimstroke and Bane support was more than enough for me to take their side.

329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Avoid Miscalculated Risks In Gambling. on: June 22, 2024, 02:10:00 AM
I've never heard "expert" being used in gambling.
You'll mostly see that term with paid tipsters, and i'd always view them with a grain of salt because it takes time to spot a bettor who knows their stuff.

The aim of one who wants to be successful in gambling shouldn't be to waste money in the name of taking risks, it's avoiding numerous loses and spending wisely even if you want to take risks it should be calculated risks not risking all your profits to make more profits.
Even though most gamblers know these tips, they tend to struggle when it comes to following certain limits, and maintaining that consistency requires a lot of patience.

Anyway, I don't see the problem in siding with the underdogs once in a while because we sometimes view matches differently from the odds provider. They also make mistakes in setting the correct odds, and those mistakes only push them to set the odds more accurately so it's usually best to take these rare underdog opportunities whenever they show up.

Nice, i'm in the clear with the two points I earned today. The research on the Ukraine squad paid off and lucked out on the Poland question.

It'll be interesting to keep an eye on the last few questions and I wonder who'll be the sacrifice this time.  Tongue
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🕹️ Esports 🎮 Prediction & Discussion Thread on: June 22, 2024, 12:16:22 AM
I almost got my hopes up when Nigma Galaxy won map two then PSG.Quest easily takes the third map.  Tongue

I have bet for OG and lost it but that's fine but what's surprising is that they might forfeit this TI qualifiers because of not having a full roster. There are PGL rules about it and they're only allowed to sign a stand-in for one day. They've released a statement about this because Ceb's wife is laboring for their baby so, Ceb is likely to choose to support her wife than to support the team for this qualifier.
That's unfortunate for the OG squad, and without Ceb their chances just got smaller after that loss against Entity.

Then again, they have no other choice but to respect the rules and that means Navi Juniors are lucky to get the free win and advance to the lower semis.

332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling/betting shops vs Investment banks - Do you believe this guy's opinion? on: June 21, 2024, 11:38:54 PM
What do you guys think about this?
Maybe that's what he noticed in his country because it's easy for them to open up a gambling shop. In my country, it's the opposite, you don't find gambling shops that often, and the banks here are so accessible that you'll bump into them from one street to another.

Still, there could be a lot who'll agree because I remember visiting a thread back then that covered a topic about the UK struggling through that same situation.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io Betting discussion thread rev on: June 21, 2024, 04:03:42 PM
The odds are jumping from 1.85x to the 4.50x they are now all because of Kylian Mbappé and the injury he sustained during the squad's last match against Austria.
The France superstar could be starting on the bench and hence the rise in their odds.
That's a huge odds swing, I hope France can still win without him, if not maybe a draw at the worst, so they could keep their chances at topping the group and save my group predictions.

In addition, they also have these two specials posted for the France vs. Netherlands match, and you could save a price boost if you plan on going with the over 2.5 goals.

334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Q4 - Your recent problems with casinos :) on: June 21, 2024, 06:16:30 AM
If that is true, then it is a rule that may be taken to limit withdrawals that are too small because it is also related to the profits that will be obtained or depends on the rules of the regulator.

The important thing is that it is still within a reasonable limit and does not burden players with an increased minimum withdrawal and no congestion in withdrawing funds.
And the option to withdraw from crypto coins may also be adjusted if some Fiat withdrawals are also increased.
That may be the case because they usually make these unannounced changes whenever Bitcoin's price significantly increases or if the network remains congested for weeks causing a sudden rise in the fees.

It'd be great if the increase isn't much, but when comparing the amounts between their competitors, they're at the halfway point of hitting one of the highest minimum withdrawals.

The only issue I encountered now recently is the sudden unavailability of a game provider in my country which I’m frequently playing before. Right now, I’m just using VPN to play it since the casino support recommended the change of IP to play the game is allowed.
I also experienced this problem a few times and it caused me to miss out on claiming certain rewards. I didn't want to risk losing my account through VPN, so my only workaround was to find a new casino with fewer restrictions.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one of those did you partake in? on: June 21, 2024, 03:35:23 AM
However, a gambler might say he will gamble for fun and still end up not gambling for fun when he starts gambling. One can know a responsible gambler if he starts gambling.
That's true. I've felt that way a few times whenever I go through a bad gambling day. Gamblers can quickly change how they feel once they're done, and it's always easier to emphasize the bad parts of your sessions.

For the main question, i've done both of them several times, and mostly gambling for fun up to this point. On a positive note, it's helpful to experience both the good and bad because you can use that mistake to remind yourself whenever greed takes over.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your best casino review website. on: June 21, 2024, 02:47:44 AM
I'd also say BTCGOSU/GOSUBETTING is the best casino review site out of the many casino review sites i've visited because I always find what I need through their reviews. And they wouldn't hesitate to remove casinos from their site whenever something goes wrong.

I rarely use review sites, but they're one of the few sites I find myself checking back to because they also cover gambling sites that don't have any presence here in the forum.
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Recording gambling activities on: June 21, 2024, 01:23:38 AM
Do you think keeping record of gambling activity will play a good role to someone's gambling lifestyle?
It's good to track your bets regularly or even the amount you spend on gambling because it's easy for gamblers to break their limit and overspend while playing.

Even for casual gamblers, it's worth having one and it doesn't take much effort to get started since you can search for templates.

One of the few downsides I can recall is that it gets tedious if you're the kind of gambler who intensely gambles.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: June 21, 2024, 12:41:14 AM
Somehow PSG.Quest managed to defeat Team Bald but they had problems in map 1 right ? and I think Nigma Galaxy will defeat them and also secure a spot for TI because it's been too long since we had Miracle at TI and same goes for Kuroky.

My predictions for Western Qualifiers are that Entity and Nigma will actually secure both spots and leave teams like Tundra , Secret and and OG home.
I watched the highlights of that series, and it didn't look like they were struggling except for their carry Vengeful dying most of the time which was fine since she had the scepter upgrade.

We'll see if they can break the H2H streak later today, the last time they beat them was during the DPC. As much as I want to believe in Nigma Galaxy I still think they'll fall short in the further rounds(lower semis or final).

Alright, I'm happy that I was able to bet on TNC for this match and they're able to close the series with a 2-0. I don't want to say anything but as usual when it's gg, it's this "too ez for TNC".
Congrats on your TNC bet. I guess that's the end for Blacklist, as I remember their CEO mentioned disbanding their Dota team if they fail to qualify for TI.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: June 20, 2024, 01:00:53 AM
And moving on to the Western Europe TI Closed qualifiers, the upper bracket has already made some games and our favorite teams have won and moved to the next round and these are the strong candidates that we want to see come again to the TI. Tomorrow, it's all about the lower bracket.
Those lower bracket matches seem one-sided except for the Navi jr/Twisted Minds series. That also means we might get to see the MENA derby between PSG.Quest vs. Nigma Galaxy in the lower bracket.  Tongue

In the SEA region, almost every series went as expected except for the Execration vs. Blacklist Rivalry series with Execration pulling off the upset and sending Blacklist Rivalry down to the lower bracket to face TNC.

It's been a while since i've had a problem with gambling sites, but one thing that's bugging me is how they change their minimum withdrawal.

Depending on the casino, i'd have a few solutions, if they automatically convert my balance to USD, I could easily switch to altcoins and pick the one with the lowest minimum. If my only choice is to withdraw in the same coin i've deposited, then I have to top up my balance and clear the deposit rollover or take the risk by playing more.
