I have arrived, months later, to laugh at you for your loss. How does it feel to be outsmarted by a commuter? If you follow @ThisIsNuse he has been doing very well lately. I guess all those train rides paid off. Tell me now Mr. Sphinx, how does it feel to see your precious investment in a bland blockchain trading at 5 satoshis? I shall follow ur account and find out which other coins to avoid as you clearly suck. To litoshi, and beyond! Do not listen to this Asshole twitter account @thisnuse i have been following him for a long time he lives in New Jersey and travels on the train to his work during his shit daily life he trolls altcoins by fudding Someone should revive the coin just to piss off the Trolls.

ASIC, how are you making out on your wallet? copied from my original post from 3 days ago. ANY help would really be appreciated.
Hi all,
Back again, after an enforced break due to computer upgrade.
I'm running Windows 7 (64 bit). Downloaded the latest wallet 2.4.0
First opening the wallet and it crashes, but that is pretty normal.
Second time round it opens fine but I have zero connections (been like this for an hour).
Do I need a CONF for the wallet?
My firewall (Zonealarm) is set to allow all for the wallet program, so I think no issues there.
Assuming I can get it working - with a little help - is there anything else I should know before I try to add the priv keys?
Cheers.

AMS has in his greed for money, dropped there nearest allies Allies had achieved previously enormous successes for AMS. Without this support AMS died soon off
And then there was a issue whit the first fork, which was unexpected earlier than previously announced, a number of loyal supporters of AMS lost there AMS balance.
It has nothing to do with greed. I really do not need the money. In fact, I did not make money with AMS. The main goal for AMS was to get cryptocurrency accepted in stores. The dream was that on some day we can pay with AmsterdamCoin in the stores of Amsterdam. We had some trouble with the blockchain, I agree with that. It was all done with best intensions and its a pitty that it ends like this. Sometimes when you have a goal it turns out unachievable. I am afraid that this is one of them. Nevertheless I am willing to help if someone still believes in the main goal of AMS and wants to take over AMS. It deserves more attention than I can give it at the moment. As time goes by life changes. I just do not have the time that I used to have for this project. So if someone wants to make AMS revive then speak up. I would love to see this coin being continued. We had people that helped AMS, but they were very scarce. I can count them on one hand, in fact it was Vegasguy and Midnightminer that offered their help. I would like to thank them for the effort they have put into it. Maybe Zeta0S will realize one day that I have put all this time, money and effort into something that brings zero return to me. In return I am now being accused of greediness by the same guy that placed an article on his website and afterwards asked for money. How is the greedy one here Zeta0S? Lets talk. We are experts in bring back coins to life! PM, SKYPE...u have everything from me... Greetz Steve I am in to help out also. We are all busy people, but I will put time in where it is needed to keep AMS alive. I would like to be able to travel and spend my AMS!

So, I like the 1:10 ratio swap, but 0 times 0 is still zero. Why should I invest a significant amount of Bitcoin into Jumbucks for the swap to Ubiq? Jumbucks has had 2 years to work on the project. What's been accomplished during that time? Like, what can you use Jumbucks for? And right now there are only 2 markets that carry JBS, and as of today, one of those markets had $48 in volume... Bittrex. Um, why such low volume, and why not more markets in 2 years?
What will make Ubiq unique as an Ethereum fork? There are quite a few Dapp platforms now. And why is the swap so disproportionate? If somebody came in on Bittrex right now and bought 10 BTC worth they'd get about 100,000 JBS. After the swap they'd have 1,000,000 Ubiq, or 1/36th of the total supply. 10 BTC isn't that much especially if you're a whale. Doesn't the high ratio swap make fair distribution of Ubiq more difficult? Would be very easy to control the market. Anyway, mainly just curious what the future plans are for Ubiq, especially since Jumbucks doesn't appear to have been too successful. Can we expect a roadmap for Ubiq any time soon?
During the 2 years of Jumbucks, we have built a very active community, ran a number of community events (e.g fantasy football leagues), launched a number of proof of concept services (e.g Jumbucks whois) and learnt a lot about what works, and what doesnt. The chain has been stable and the network healthy during this time, with no forks or freezes. We optimized PoS. We have continued to maintain and build the platform, without any premine, ICO, or funding of any kind. Ubiq is unique on the core level for a number of reasons. Difficulty algorithm replaced with Digisheild V3, Difficulty bomb removed, and the first blockchain to implement Exponentially Subjective Scoring (ESS). Other than the technical aspects, we intend to manage the project quite differently to most Dapp platforms. Instead of focusing on, and hyping a single Dapp, our focus will be on the platform itself. Providing standardized and well tested modules that can be utilized by Dapps to ease development and lower the chance of bugs in more complex Dapps. There is also a number of existing altcoins, that plan to swap to tokens on the Ubiq chain. The 1:10 swap is somewhat related to the reason for rebranding. The 2 largest issues holding JBS back from growing further have been the low coin supply, and not being taken as a serious project upon first glimpse. The increased supply will actually result in better distribution, as there are more whole units for people to trade and spend, although divisible, psychologically people still like whole units. It wont affect market control, as the % of supply doesnt change, if you have 10% now, you will have 10% after the swap. The increased supply will also make it much easier to achieve a higher market cap. We have intentionally kept JBS on a small number of exchanges, due to many exchanges providing a less than acceptable service (often disappearing with everyones coins or getting hacked etc), and to consolidate volume. the only two exchanges that really matter imo, are trex and polo. Volume has been inconsistent, you just happened to check on a bad day, a few days ago there was ~100btc volume (~$60k) for example. It highly depends on whats going on, both in the jumbucks world, and other markets. Great questions, keep them coming. Lot's of trust in this project. Invested some in it and waiting for a swap and new features of this coin Thank you very much for taking the time to answer all of that. I read through my post and realized that maybe I sounded like a dick, but that wasn't my intention. I've been in crypto now since February 2014, so I've seen a lot and I guess I'm just cynical now lol. You tend to get that way when you've seen scores of devs abandon their projects. Will you guys be getting a roadmap together in the next couple of months or anything? Perfectly reasonable to be skeptical, there are a lot of asshats in crypto. Julian and Luke are the real deal though, both in technical proficiency, and in their commitment to running a fair coin, and sticking with projects (I've been closely following them since launch). If you want to dig deeper, check out the #jumbucks channel in our slack group: slack.getjumbucks.com. I'd be glad to have a conversation with you Just wanted to add my 2¢ to this. What makes Jumbucks or the dev team of Jumbucks worth investing in? The number of other Altcoins that have forked or are based on the Jumbucks source. I have noticed there are a few of them out there. Most are not easy to spot as they did not fork directly from the Jumbucks GitHub, but they are out there. If the code of the coin is good enough to fork from, when compared to the number of choices to chose from, it does make a statement about the developers of this coin and future development to rely on for continued development.

Today Griffith will be posting a VERY detailed explanation of Flynode. I cannot even begin to tell you how excited I am about this. Here is why: Flynode is one of a kind technology. 1. Flynode requires NO collateral, only that you hold a min of 500 coins in your wallet. 2. Flynode "flys" around and randomly chooses users to reward. Everyone has the same chance!3. Flynode is layered. What this means is for every additional 1 fly will add an additional 0.01% to the reward paid out by the flynode. 4. Max reward is 45%. You will need 5000 fly. In these ways flynode is one of a kind!! This is a "Crypto first" that to get a node, your funds do not need to be locked or need collateral. Also as you slowly add to your balance , even by 1 fly, your reward from the node will be larger. There is no question, that word will spread fast, and everyone will know about Flycoin because of its unique flynode system Griffith will post more details on this , as we are still in testing. Also remember @ block 90k, the POS drops to 10%. So there are 3,000 more blocks that you can earn a much higher POS until then to get your fly node easier. I will raise the POS again in the near future to around 20%-25%. For now, Im playing it safe, to avoid inflation. Vegas The lower PoS of 10% will help separate the "weak hands" from the people dedicated to the future of FLY. Look forward to the future of Flynodes, and the info on instituting Flynodes.

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or experienced the same issues. I ran -zapwallettxes to clean up my transaction history of the minted entries that were not accepted by the blockchain, and noticed my SuperBlocks are all gone also. I think this would mean that the SuperBlock minting does not work if the staking entry never made it to the blockchain. I had several 2x a couple 3x and one 10x SuperBlocks in my history, they are gone now, so they probably never were successfully minted. That kinda sucks!
Running -rescan does not bring back any missing SuperBlock minting that were removed by -zapwallettxes, so I assume the SuperBlocks were never minted.Edit: Found my SuperBlocks when I scrolled down the Transaction History... I was using the filter 'SuperBlock Mint' in the Transactions window in the wallet, but it does not filter properly.
Also noticed lately when restarting the wallet, there are no connections to the network. There are no errors in the debug.log notifying of any network or look-up errors. 10/16/16 17:26:32 Loaded 494 addresses from peers.dat 4ms 10/16/16 17:26:34 RandAddSeed() 169104 bytes 10/16/16 17:26:34 mapBlockIndex.size() = 87772 10/16/16 17:26:34 nBestHeight = 86941 10/16/16 17:26:34 setKeyPool.size() = 100 10/16/16 17:26:34 mapWallet.size() = 646 10/16/16 17:26:34 mapAddressBook.size() = 6 10/16/16 17:26:34 Done loading 10/16/16 17:26:34 refreshWallet 10/16/16 17:26:34 AddLocal([2002:44eb:b8c0:0:584d:b517:1bf:183a]:41568,1) 10/16/16 17:26:34 AddLocal([2002:44eb:b8c0:0:fc13:b77f:7e09:5019]:41568,1) 10/16/16 17:26:34 ThreadDNSAddressSeed started 10/16/16 17:26:34 Loading addresses from DNS seeds (could take a while) 10/16/16 17:26:34 ThreadMapPort started 10/16/16 17:26:34 ThreadIRCSeed exited 10/16/16 17:26:34 ThreadSocketHandler started 10/16/16 17:26:34 ThreadOpenConnections started 10/16/16 17:26:34 ThreadOpenAddedConnections started 10/16/16 17:26:34 ThreadStakeMiner started 10/16/16 17:26:34 ThreadMessageHandler started 10/16/16 17:26:34 trying connection 167.114.224.79:41568 lastseen=382399.7hrs 10/16/16 17:26:34 Flushed 494 addresses to peers.dat 9ms 10/16/16 17:26:35 trying connection 216.66.12.244:41568 lastseen=41.6hrs 10/16/16 17:26:35 5 addresses found from DNS seeds 10/16/16 17:26:35 ThreadDNSAddressSeed exited 10/16/16 17:26:38 UPnP: ExternalIPAddress = 68.235.184.192 10/16/16 17:26:38 AddLocal(68.235.184.192:41568,3) 10/16/16 17:26:38 UPnP Port Mapping successful. 10/16/16 17:26:40 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:40 ERROR: GetMyExternalIP() : connection to 91.198.22.70:80 failed 10/16/16 17:26:40 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:40 GetMyExternalIP() received [] [::]:0 10/16/16 17:26:40 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:40 trying connection 167.114.224.82:41568 lastseen=382399.7hrs 10/16/16 17:26:41 trying connection 24.160.59.242:41568 lastseen=11.6hrs 10/16/16 17:26:46 ipcThread started 10/16/16 17:26:47 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:47 ERROR: GetMyExternalIP() : connection to 91.198.22.70:80 failed 10/16/16 17:26:47 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:47 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:47 trying connection 2.90.244.174:41568 lastseen=382399.7hrs 10/16/16 17:26:48 trying connection 24.160.59.242:41568 lastseen=11.6hrs 10/16/16 17:26:53 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:53 ERROR: GetMyExternalIP() : connection to 212.117.175.194:80 failed 10/16/16 17:26:54 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:54 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:26:55 trying connection 81.169.137.12:41568 lastseen=382399.7hrs 10/16/16 17:26:55 trying connection 117.195.185.201:41568 lastseen=1.8hrs 10/16/16 17:27:01 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:27:02 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:27:02 trying connection 167.114.224.82:41568 lastseen=382399.7hrs 10/16/16 17:27:03 trying connection 72.74.138.99:41568 lastseen=13.6hrs 10/16/16 17:27:09 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:27:10 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:27:10 trying connection 77.31.242.58:41568 lastseen=382399.7hrs 10/16/16 17:27:11 trying connection 95.116.219.216:41568 lastseen=8.7hrs 10/16/16 17:27:18 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:27:18 connection timeout 10/16/16 17:27:18 trying connection 167.114.224.79:41568 lastseen=382399.7hrs 10/16/16 17:27:19 trying connection 62.197.73.12:415 1 hour later and I have 1 active connection to FlyCoin network. With thanks to Midnight Miner BTA wallet is now updated. This update was needed to pave the way for the introduction of POW/POS in a future release. https://bata.money/downloads/BATA-qt-0.8.7.5.zipWebsite link has been updated & OP. MAC Compile required Kudos to the dev, this is the first coin I am able to compile on OS X without modifying the QT file. Wallet looks great! Good to hear - Midnight miner did a good job so Kudos to him. Do you have a MAC QT for the community? virus checked of course I'll try to add the libraries needed so the wallet can run on Macs without the dependencies later this afternoon. One of these days I will get a Mac setup so I can test things out fully. I have a Linux static binary if anyone needs it. If you are running Ubuntu or Debian, than it should compile and run straight from GitHub source. Please let us know if there are any issues with the wallet. I also managed to compile SpaceCoin on OS X. If I can link the libraries for BATA I'll do the same for SpaceCoin. Vinyl, could you post on the space thread or PM dukester99 if you get a successful build. Thank you! I apologize for the off topic!

I've updated to the latest wallet as well.
Thanks I will amend the forums and website to include suprnova again Please ensure to change the message on the pool if you have not already. Ah, don't worry, I just meant it's safe to withdraw the coins, for me it doesn't make big sense to stay in the short pow phase while transitioning to POS Oh ok - thanks anyway As a tip for the future: it's sometimes better to maintain a low reward pow phase synchronously to pos instead of going full pos to keep miners AND traders.. I agree with the idea of keeping a PoW / PoS Hybrid wallet. If the price of Bata remains above 5k even 10k would be nice. Keeping a 1 BTA PoW block reward would help chain stability. There are a lot of Scrypt miners out there looking for something profitable to mine. Would need to a build a math model to see what levels are feasible on both PoW and PoS participants.

Dev has refused to support a coin? It seems there was the fork.
There is an issue with this coin forking, not sure if it's malicious intent or not, but it is happening often. I have 2 nodes running and maintaining the blockchain and a block explorer. Explorer is found here: http://ams.midnightminer.net/nodes for amsterdamcoin.conf: addnode=ams1.midnightminer.net addnode=ams2.midnightminer.net I am looking at the wallet code in my spare time to update the code to reduce the forking. I hope that Keesdewit will allow a pull request into the soucecode once I finish the updates. I have been pulled into other projects at the moment, so hang in there, an update is coming. any update? It's still on my list of things to play with. The price of AMS is sliding, so I will up the priority on this. I hope to have an update late next week. The update will be fully compatible with existing wallets (no forks). I would like to improve the performance of the wallet, especially on Windows mine seems to hog the CPU and disk access.

Nice find c00p3r! I guess changes and history would not get lost if Fly developers would follow the simple and easy Git development process and use Fork, Branch, and Pull Requests, to keep the code change history linked.

Guys, I was the one that asked Griffith for the fix. A couple of versions ago , when I tried zapwallettxes, it deleted my wallet.dat and replaced it with another. Fortunately, I had a backup. I asked Griffith to fix this. He said he did. I then tested it, and it worked perfect. Thats all.
Vegas
Vegas, I think the point they were making about the code change, was that no actual code change was done, just a small code formatting change. No change in the function was modified.

If STEPS is going to stay around, where should the development direction go?
Where does the community of STEP holders want to take this coin?

maybe you could give us tx id or so?
sure thing. i will provide 2 txids, one of the ones my bud sent me and the one i sent to yobit: From my buddy to my wallet: 46c8c169819cc2ecbb30d63cdd55943685e17dd30e197e091715a6909cf86318-000 From my wallet to yobit´s: b89869677ea177f677993fa854177d056f7ae94959b037962625bf0d73e96b73-000 Thx again Sooo..... my friend just resynched the 2.0.0 wallet and ran the -salvagewallet command on his wallet. The hodl transactions that he sent me did in fact disappear from his wallet but the HODL did not reappeared.... So where are those HODL´s? Can anyone help with this??? TIA again guys. I noticed my xfer to YObit a few days ago, it took several hours before it appeared in my YObit balance. If the TXid appears in the block explorer, the balance will appear in the YObit wallet. It may take a while, or day...

Sorry for asking this stupid question, but is this coin going to have trade-ins for close to space flights (for camera's etc) . Swear i read something about that at start but who knows i could just be confusing info from another coin with this one. Either way. still holding my space I won't promise anything like that yet, but we are working on some 'outer space' / 'deep space' / 'space projects' type ideas for the next coming months.
