323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: mcxNOW Fee shares : Cryptocurrency daily earnings on: July 29, 2013, 12:42:03 PM
I would definitely like to see something like this for cryptsy too !
324  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Why are people cheering that ASICMINER will bring 800-1000TH online this year? on: July 27, 2013, 08:21:28 PM
reminder : conspiracy theories require a grand involvement of lots of people.  This would require about 1 days work of the small group of people involved at ASICminer.  You'd never be able to detect it, you'd never be able to find out, you'd never be able to stop it, and it's literally the difference of millions of dollars of extra profit for them.  Why WOULDN'T THEY FUCKING DO IT?

Every single miner on this board would do it, if they could.

No one would kill a milking cow. They smart enough to keep on milking. Balance is inevitable.

I think it is possible to guess the currently mining coin by watching coinchoose and cgminer diff. I decided to give it 1 day try then decide which way is best for me.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buying Your XPM (PrimeCoin) - For LTC on: July 08, 2013, 11:00:32 AM
Mining this coin is hard.  I wouldn't sell mine for less than 0.01B each XPM
If you think that's expensive, wait till it hits Cryptsy...

329  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's be realistic. For what reason do you really think Bitcoin will rise? on: July 06, 2013, 09:27:59 AM
It works, was first and technology demands it.

Not necessary because of being first. Google was the 20th search engine to emerge. It learnt from all it's previous competitors mistakes.

Bitcoin wasn't the first either. There were crypto currencies before Bitcoin, but none effectively solved the double spend problem. Perhaps, and this may be bold, but perhaps Bitcoin learned from it's predecessors...

which is why bitcoin will not be the end all of cryptocurrencies.  it is the firsts successful one but there will be others that will prove to have advantages over bitcoin.  this is still a pioneer industry and it still in development.  it is not ready for prime time but it is close, about 3-5 years away from true public adoption.

BFL and Avalon would be selling Scrypt ASICs.  Avalon shipping in 1 3 months and BFL in 1 3 years.

This!

332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is litecoin hyped so much when it doesn't add any value over bitcoin? on: June 25, 2013, 01:57:14 PM
Both Litecoin and Bitcoin have their downsides  but in the end is all down to profit for all miners, investors, speculators. If the majority stays with Litecoin/scrypt coins they will go where they make money. Actually now without owning any asic, staying in Litecoin/scrypt coin  boat is more profitable, and  when it will hit Gox they will profit even more in short term compared to BTC.

This topic is very much alike many others on  forum where some medium-big BTC stahes already fearing the exodus to scrypt coins is devaluating their richness dreams even more Smart money doesnt care if it is called BTC or LTC or shitcoin, all they care is profit..it's like poker.
333  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: June 24, 2013, 09:59:35 AM
I can buy 15 chips more from zefir and I'm not sure if it is possible for a 20 chip board to work with only 15 chips placed on it.
Basically Im asking if it can work underpopulated and add later 5 chips more.
334  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [CLOSED] Avalon ASIC chip distribution on: June 24, 2013, 08:20:46 AM
I have ordered 30 chips in batch 4 and I would like to order 20 more but that would be 5 chips more than  50%. Since I cant use 15 chips as burnin' boards are 10/20 and I want my chips on his boards, would you allow me to buy 20 chips ? Ty for all your effort!

History repeating: strong hands> weak hands.Which one you choose to be ?
336  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] BTG BitGem SAPPHIRE EDITION | 4Cs Gemstone implementation | bitgem.info on: June 20, 2013, 05:41:33 PM
What I dont understand is why  BTG is not on traded on cryptsy yet...I mean with such an active dev and interesting concept.
337  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Work in progess] Burnins Avalon Chip to mining board service on: June 13, 2013, 12:50:37 PM
I don't like the idea of adding the order row from burnins website since the beginning. IMO it's an unneeded and annoying additional variable, which ends up beeing like a lottery game.

The easiest way could be, to just use the order sequence and date in the particular group buys and merge these lists. Somehow like this:

Group buy SebastianJu

13.04.2013 200 Chips ordered by user XXX for DEV burnin
15.04.2013 100 Chips ordered by user ZZZ for DEV burnin

Group buy Zefir

14.04.2013 100 Chips ordered by user YYY for DEV burnin
16.04.2013 100 Chips ordered by user WWW for DEV burnin
18.04.2013 100 Chips ordered by user WWW for DEV burnin

Order row:

1. 13.04.2013 200 Chips ordered by user XXX for DEV burnin
2. 14.04.2013 100 Chips ordered by user YYY for DEV burnin
3. 15.04.2013 100 Chips ordered by user ZZZ for DEV burnin
4. 16.04.2013 200 Chips ordered by user WWW for DEV burnin

Because all ordered Batches will probably arrive at the same time, later stock up buys could be accumulated on the first buy of the same user. There would be no need to verify the Batch-No. during the ordering process and no mess with stock up buys.
