321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] - BullshitCoin - BST on: December 17, 2016, 11:57:35 PM
Seeing as I am not doing a premine, a tiny bounty of 0.001 BTC for a nice logo (coin and QT wallet) would be awesome. Or 1 BST when I am able to mine some after launch. No insane premining here. Not paying too much bounties even for world class design, a bullshit unfair rule, I know.

You will of course have to wait 10 minutes for your bounty to confirm, there is no instant gratification with Bitcoin.

Algo: POW Sha256 - Need I say more? No not proof of work but proof of worth. Yes, it is worth so much!

322  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / [ANN] - BullshitCoin - BST - Ready for download and mining! - on: December 17, 2016, 11:46:06 PM
EDIT
//
Before reading: check the timestamps, this is THE bullshitcoin, this is the fake one: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1722069.40

The above coin is a SCAM coin with a 92+% premine, unlike this one and copied some of this ANN post word for word. This had a fair launch and I am still only mining on a CPU when others have GPUs! Now, onto more bullshit.

//
EDIT

Well well well. Welcome to the next thing in crypto! What you are about to witness, is the final completion and launch of the coin to crush all coins? It shall crush Bitcoin, who of course have a dedicated dev team. It shall crush Litecoin, the coin everyone says is DEAD while it has a stable development and a secure blockchain. Yes, I can dream and call bullshit, because that's what this coin is.

It shall indeed also crush those worthless coins that make out like they are the SUPER next big thing in crypto! Why may you ask? Because this coin IS! It is the most awesome, super duper coin. It does not hide its true being behind a mask to make a quick buck! It stands proud like the piece of shit it is : - )

You see, this coin is inspired from SHT. SHT will always be the original, real shitcoin. But I have decided to launch my own coin in hopes I can knock the real shit out, while I know shitcoin will live on and this coin will be the silver lined shit to SHTs gold. Both can co-exist, can't they? : - ) It will be like Bitcoin / Litecoin. Unlike SHT which has 100 trillion coins, I have 210,000. Why may you ask? Because SHT is common, BST is rare. You see, everyone shits, but to find bullshit is just a tad harder in cryptoland and I feel that both of these coins will suit.

I bring you.... BULLSHIT COIN! or BST. No, not British Summer Time, but bullshit.

Block Reward: 1 coin (I did tell you its going to be rarer than rocking horse poo, didn't I? Next big thing in crypto, better than the argos value mattress I bought, at any rate)

Total Supply: 420000 - IT IS RARE! OMG GUYS LETS BUY AND HODL!

Block time: 1 Minute - who doesn't love instant gratification in cryptoland?

Algo: POW / POS Scrypt - Need I say more? No not proof of work but proof of worth. Yes, it is worth so much! Proof of shit added.

Premine: PREMINE?! why would I premine BullshitCoin. Premine always smells of scam. No premine and no instamine. (Although I will premine 5 blocks to test that everything is working, these coins will go to the first user to post their wallet address after official launch, on the blockchain for everyone to see)

PND Scheme: This coin is not intended to be a pump and dump, but who knows what happens in cryptoland. TO THE MOON GUYS!

Block Halving: Every 105,000 blocks - If it reaches its first halving, I actually achieved something with it

Difficulty: Starting difficulty is 20k. I kinda want to make it hard to mine with a CPU, taking a good shit is not always easy, is it? But relieving when it finally lands in the toilet bowl, or the grass. Wait until the ASIC miners render it impossible to mine this. Most bullshit coins make one of their key selling points ASIC RESISTANCE! YEAHHHHH! Well guys, plenty of sha256 ASICs out here. Most here probably own an Antrouter or Block Erupter or a good GPU : - )

Hard Fork: NO FORKS! NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, WE WILL BE PURISTS! WE WILL STICK WITH 1MB BLOCKS EVEN WHEN THEY ARE FULL! No following ETH! I do not share the same brilliant coding knowledge as the Bitcoin and Litecoin developers, and I will not be adding segwit to this coin.

So guys. The most awesome coin ready to hit cryptoland is in the making, slowly fermenting in the intestines of a bull. It will partner SHT, but unlike the ever increasing pile of SHT, it will be a small steaming pile. So why not start your own BST farm?

I intend 1 coin a minute to be minted. Instant gratification, in all shapes and sizes. No waiting around for transactions to confirm. Coinbase spendable after 5 blocks. Yes guys, FIVE BLOCKS! This coin is designed for instant gratification in mind.

WARNING: As always in cryptoland, speculation and hype is rife. DO NOT INVEST ANY MONEY INTO THIS COIN YOU DO NOT WISH TO LOSE! If people wish to trade this token, feel free. BUT IT IS NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME! I absolve myself of all liability for any losses big and small with this coin, and it is traded solely at your own risk.

With this in mind... HYPE IT UP GUYS!

If you wish to tip me the 'dev': 1EqmYVe2k35W2xnKM66GuVHmox5jahRsfP

Because it really was my own work, you know. Not ripping off Bitcoin and playing a few games with numbers. I worked my ass off to make this coin! Notice I am asking for tips in Bitcoin because my confidence in my own coin is not enough to accept pure tips in it!

Release: Soon

Lets begin the hype of an unreleased coin, and wait. See what BST can offer the cryptocommunity, be it faster payments anywhere better than the currently available coins BTC, LTC or PPC, No hardforks like ETH, Even more rare than UNO, just as shitty as SHT, to be the silver lining to SHTs gold. No locking up new blocks for a year against your will either, your coins are yours and always yours! I am working on this coin, but consider it potential vapourware until I release the client.

Once released mine away! Get in there before the difficulty rises, and before the halving. I have left long enough before the first halving to ensure everyone gets a fair shot at this Smiley Stay tuned guys.

Now for a coffee and to get some real work done : - )

323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / [WTB] Scrypt Mining Hardware + UNO on: December 17, 2016, 02:29:41 PM
I am looking to buy scrypt mining hardware (KNC Titans or working A4 dominator machines) or cheap silverfish miners.

I am willing to pay in BTC escrow with ognasty or psychoticboy (to any potential scammers reading this, we will both contact the ESCROW providers DIRECTLY, not via any external links to a fake bitcointalk site or other, that is an old trick which I am aware of)

Anyone have any of these to sell?

I did manage to sell it in the end, thanks for reminding me XD

Without your soul/spirit, you would have no self / consciousness at all to enjoy your coins Wink

Watch the Simpsons where Bart sells his soul to Milhous for 5 dollars Wink

Next we will see SoulCoin...

326  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT BUY BITCOIN WITH PAYPAL FROM 'ChrisLandin' - NEARLY SCAMMED on: December 15, 2016, 09:19:23 AM
I think people misinterpret my post. I did not buy bitcoin via paypal nor sell it, I am very cautious where these things are concerned and I always use escrow if I buy or sell anything large BTC related.

I bought two KNC titans via paypal goods payment (so I was covered), and a call from paypal told me the transaction was suspicious, the posts I read after and warnings from members, plus the fact the account email address was recently changed lead me to conclude a potential problem.

<<<A small update, he has issued a refund for the payments which are pending of his own free will after I opened the dispute, if the refund goes through (clears) I will post here. I am still baffled as to why the paypal fraud team picked something up with regards to these two transactions and called me to ask me if 1. they were authorized and 2. there were discrepancies regarding where they went. They asked me who I sent it to and I said 'chris' and they stated and further looking that the paypal name was matthew wright>>

If the refund goes through I will let members know here. All the evidence pointed to it though... including:

1. Call from paypal (first raising the alarm)
2. The thread which I posted above I found after said call
3. The chrislandin email address changed recently found when digging further
4. A couple of negative trusts appearing on his account when I looked closer
5. The 5 day delay in taking pictures of the miner(s) citing depleted camera batteries (originally was not suspicious in and of itself, but smartphones, anyone)?
6. To seal it, stating a large paypal balance ready to buy coin on the day I sent the first payment (not suspicious in and of itself)

If this turns out to be wrong I will feel guilty and will let people know if the refund goes through, but given that I saved for six months for the titans I have to be careful.
327  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: DO NOT BUY BITCOIN WITH PAYPAL FROM 'ChrisLandin' - NEARLY SCAMMED on: December 15, 2016, 08:12:27 AM
It does say in the trust area the account email address was recently changed

I wasn't trading for bitcoin myself, I was buying two miners with PayPal.

329  Economy / Scam Accusations / Refunded on: December 14, 2016, 10:21:46 PM
Despite the insane evidence, it seems he processed the refund, which I can see as pending from my paypal account. Despite insane evidence including from paypal themselves, it seems he was genuine after all... He initiated the refund from the dispute console. As he had already paid to ship the titans I think I have offered to refund shipping costs if he shows me the invoice, although he said it did not matter I have insisted, hopefully he shows me the invoice so I can reimburse him of those.

331  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BUYING ALL BTCT ACCOUNTS (FULL+) on: December 14, 2016, 01:45:26 PM
WATCH OUT!!!

This guy tried to sell me a KNC titan via PM, I felt suspicious so did not respond, he then posts a sale for his antminer S7 which was his 'one and only' miner, which it wouldn't be if he had the KNC titan also. I would proceed with caution with any transaction, use escrow and only deal with your escrow provider (ognasty, psychoticboy, etc) directly, not via a forwarded message from said account or other, which sometimes will direct to a fake bitcointalk version with ognastys 'address' in it!

I may be wrong, but its not adding up.

332  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: Selling S7 miner on: December 14, 2016, 01:41:07 PM
Sounds dodgy, as you tried to sell me a KNC titan via PM, so the S7 is not your only miner...

Sorry to rain on your parade, I am just a very cautious and sharp person : - )

If anyone wishes to proceed with the transaction, be safe, use escrow and only deal with them DIRECTLY, not via a forwarded message or fake bitcointalk site...

I may be wrong, but coupled with the post on wanting to buy BTCT accounts, I am very cautious...
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: -- [ANN] New Coin Launch - SHIT coin - SHT -- on: December 13, 2016, 02:39:23 AM
I am moving house and disconnected my home hosted server with my SHT node a few weeks ago when I boxed it up. Could someone else put theirs up to ensure the shitcoin network works during the move? its been down for a couple of weeks during moving, we need someone to keep it alive while my node is down! The node will be down until the 29th when my new connection is installed in the new house.

If someone or a group wishes to pay me 0.1 BTC, I will host a node on a VPS for a year, this includes the time taken to upkeep it and that! Or I can host my 95% uptime node on my home server for free as I have been doing. This coin is still the most awesome altcoin after Litecoin and monero.

The UK has a 20% VAT rate on all prices. I paid about £750 to build this machine. I forgot to mention it includes a Xonar Essence STX sound card.

The other AMD PC I would actually be selling at a loss and I barely used it! I was able to sell this a buyer locally who inspected it for £50 less, so will mark as sold Smiley

335  Economy / Goods / Re: [WTS] LOCAL SALE : Lincolnshire, UK - beko fridge freezer - 0.12 BTC on: December 13, 2016, 12:06:00 AM
No luck, I have decided to transport it to Nottinghamshire tomorrow with the van there, I will put that I accept bitcoin XD
336  Economy / Goods / [WTS] LOCAL SALE : Lincolnshire, UK - beko fridge freezer - 0.12 BTC on: December 11, 2016, 09:47:34 PM
As I am moving house and the new house already has a good quality fridge freezer, I am selling my BEKO fridge freezer. This is actually a very reluctant sale, as my mother bought it for me two weeks before her death, albeit used. There isn't any space for it in the new house so I am reluctantly selling it. Works like a charm!

This is of course local pick up only, but I am more than willing to accept the BTC payment at my home when the buyer has inspected the fridge freezer, I also accept Litecoin or peercoin for this transaction.

Unfortunately, I need it gone by next Sunday as I hand back the keys to my old flat on the Monday.

I also have a smaller freezer only unit, about the size of the freezer compartment of the fridge freezer, this I will sell for 0.09 BTC. A buyer can have both the fridge freezer and the freezer only unit for 0.2 BTC.

I have a black leather sofa which me and my partner are replacing at the new house, this sofa is well worn but still usable, so this I would GIVE away, although getting it down the stairs will be a task Wink

337  Economy / Computer hardware / -sold- - Custom Desktop Build - Core i5, 8GB RAM, 256 GB SSD + 2TB HDD + win 10 on: December 11, 2016, 09:36:57 PM
I am selling my second custom desktop PC build, as I am moving house. This is the second PC I am selling and has been well used.

This PC contains a corsair 500W PSU, 8GB DDR3 RAM, an Antec Case, an ASUS motherboard with a core i5 CPU (bought and built new in 2015), has a Kingston SSD (256GB) The graphics is the on-board graphics, but has a PCI-E slot for expansion.

This is fully licensed for windows 10 home. I hate to part with it but I think it is the best thing to do due to moving house!

The PC is in well used but good condition. I will clean out the inside before dispatch (I have dusted it out every month or so). Never overclocked.

Selling for 1 BTC (This includes shipping in the EU).

HDD and SSD will be securely wiped with windows reinstalled before dispatch.

If anyone is interested let me know, if the buyer would prefer to use escrow they could use ognasty or psychoticboy.

Price lowered to 0.4 BTC, I move the rest of my stuff from the old flat soon so need it gone ASAP.
339  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: need helpp for mining on: December 11, 2016, 12:57:39 AM
You would want to build one yourself and have multiple GPUs, calculate power usage and what you want to mine. This is crucial to determining potential profit.

340  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Pools (Altcoins) / Any Demand for another litecoin mining pool? on: December 11, 2016, 12:01:46 AM
I am seeing if there is interest for another Litecoin mining pool, to help contribute to the decentralization of the Litecoin network. If there is sufficient demand, I will start the pool. I will be using the latest Litecoin daemon, and will be signalling support for segregated witness. I may if demand is high enough take this one step further by setting up some low latency Litecoin nodes around on a few servers around the world, to enable even faster block changes / propagation to reduce orphan rates. This has been done on the bitcoin network and proved invaluable.

Please post if you are interested in this and what your hashrate is, if it seems like demand is sufficient, I will set one up! I am hoping for at least 2 GH/s of potential hashpower for this pool, I am also investing in a few KNC titans which I will throw at the pool if I set it up. If I get at least 5 - 10 GH/s of interest, I will set up the relay network. This pool will have a 1% fee to cover running costs.

Advantages of having a Litecoin relay network like the bitcoin relay network means we can on low latency servers push our blocks around the world quickly by establishing a direct connection with the nodes of major pools and other nodes near each of them, fast block changes means your less likely to have an orphan and loose the block. Some orphans are unavoidable, but this can reduce the chances. It also means the pool will hear about a new block on the network as quickly as possible, to reduce stale shares as new work will be sent to miners as quickly as possible.

If I can get enough interest, we are another step in assuring decentralization of the Litecoin network by having another pool to choose from, and potentially a list of low-latency Litecoin nodes around the world which this pool, and other pools can make use of.
