I got this e-mail from coinbase 30 minutes back.

http://imgur.com/a/foj1d

I was successfully able to transfer BTC out to other wallet but they closed my account for no reason and don't think they're going to tell me the reason behind it too.
I was using them since September 2015 and all of a sudden today they closed me down.

PS: Due to this account closure, I had to change my profile wallet address also.

Could they have mistaken any of your activity to gambling? Such as depositing and withdrawing to and from a HYIP or doubler, or any site that resembles a doubler? What about sites like faucetgame.com that looks like a gambling site, but actually doesn't take deposits for gambling?

I deal with many users on daily basis. Never asked from where are they sending me the BTC.
I myself don't gamble or anything.
If thats the case then they might been possibly using gambling site wallet or any means to transfer funds related into. Its really possible for this thing to happen and coinbase did detect the activity of your transactions which is the reason of closing your account. You have been using them for almost 2 years this coming september and they did just blocked the account all the way and lucky for you that you got the funds inside of it before it was been closed.
Unless specified by court or relevant authorities, they won't freeze access to user's funds.

Have you used CC or DC? And which is more advisable to use CC or DC? Is there any difference in the fees anywhere when DC or CC is being used to purchase btc. How much time it takes to make a purchase, is the amount deposited in bitlish.com instant or it takes time?

For bitlish.com it does not matter whether it's CC or DC. It would matter to you as consumer, you might get more reward points when using CC instead of DC (depending upon your CC issuer) and then you can pay your CC bill after few days in next few months.
During this time you can sell your BTC and earn some profit and pay your CC bill with your profit too.

Deposit time should be instant whether one uses CC or DC. FX conversion should also be the same whether one uses CC or DC.
Once USD/EUR is deposited in your Bitlish account then you're able to buy BTC instantly.
331  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying btc, paying via Escrow.com on: June 27, 2017, 12:34:28 PM
They've never said anything about not supporting crypto to the best of my knowledge and I've used them for stuff other than the traditional domain/website transactions they're popular for over the years.

You are however right that there's an escrow fee which needs to be paid:

1) 3.25% of the transaction amount, which we'll split 50% - 50% (Escrow.com lets you choose this option when initiating the transaction); as such, the seller will pay 1.625% and I'll pay the remaining 1.625%... all in all, it's a pretty low fee IMO

2) if you choose to be paid via Electronic Check (US only), there are no additional fees; otherwise, there's a $10 fee for domestic wire transfers or 20$ if you're located outside the US

All in all, it's a pretty good deal and most importantly, none of the parties are at risk. Which is a major plus in the crazy world of crypto haha.

In a bitcoin to fiat deal, it's bitcoin which needs to be escrowed and not fiat.
Most forum escrows take only 1% as their fee rather than 3.25%.

It seems you're based out of US, then why not withdraw your balance via electronic check and use that money to buy bitcoin on lbc or here. This way you saving on escrow.com's 3.25% and doing a deal at proper platform.
332  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Buying btc, paying via Escrow.com on: June 27, 2017, 11:57:30 AM
We'll be using Escrow.com.

It's the most popular escrow service out there and I've used it lots of times to buy and sell domains/websites.

I've also used it to pay freelancers for services, so I think it's a good idea to use it for bitcoin buying as well.

Here's how it works:

1) Sign up for an Escrow.com account if you haven't by now

2) Let me know what your escrow.com email address is and I'll initiate the transaction

3) I will then fund the transaction and Escrow.com will let you know once they've received the payment

4) Once that happens, you send me the btc

5) After receiving the btc, I confirm through the Escrow.com platform and they release the funds to the seller

Escrow.com are huge, with over $3 billion in transactions and over a million users. Doesn't get any safer than that Smiley

Only catch is they don't support escrow of crypto currencies and btc seller needs to pay fee to escrow.com for taking this money out of escrow.com to their bank account.

334  Local / Marketplace (India) / Re: Too much price difference in Google search vs actual Indian exchange on: June 26, 2017, 06:58:07 PM
Well adding so much fees and time consuming so its better you can buy at Indian exchanges or local bitcoin or on this forum where you will get the btc quickly and also you do not have to much worry about the various international rules, FEMA , bank inquiry if they see some big amount through CC/DC etc.

Who will buy at so much premium!! Everyone wants at intl market rate!
How can an Indian buy BTC at International rates without getting ripped off and ending up paying same rates as Indian markets?

Also do I need to deposit into e wallet or the account?

Deposit in your account and then withdraw from your account.
Never used them personally. So, please have a look around the website and do a trial deposit of small amount before depositing more.

Can I buy $350 worth of BTC with paypal?

Looking at your trust, I don't think you can.
Is there a way I could buy from you then? Thanks for the quick response.

Yes. You can using Perfect Money or bank transfers in either INR or GBP.

Is there a way to make a PM account as a US citizen?
Nope but you can create www.ePay.com and deposit there instantly via WU and withdraw from there to my PM account.
Do you get anything if I use your referral ID on epay and if so what is yours?
No, just signup directly.
