321  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: The New AltCoin: RoxoCoin on: March 30, 2016, 05:27:03 PM
Hello!
I'd be glad to mine another coin, even your one...out of curiousity!
While something you're trying to push w/o much thought...is pure disgrace!

"drum roll"
Because, we're talking about MONEY!
And preparation for the coin is always a dense time!
Quick example: EDRcoin - ABSOLUTE fail!
No mining avaliable, 100% premine, dev himself sold his coins at Yobit!
I can't say if he set a foundation for all the new coins to share this model,
but look at this differently!
If you're willing to represent something not-entirely new, but decent product...
put some effort, take it slow, make a roadmap, wallet, BASIC SOURCE so people wouldnt be able to build controversy 'round it!
MAKE IT CRYSTAL CLEAR for everyone you're not trying to swing easy cash on crowd's trust!

Good luck with that!
xoxo

Well the wallet is OK and i am making a Premine for getting some coins, About Effort this is not like the "Official" ANN this is just for testing and for who have interest in help and Mine. and the source i will get it to put on Github. Thanks
And here is the Wallet Image, sorry i didnt put the link yesterday, i find a photo host only today.

The only thing I really hate to the guts...is a thing YOU trying to sell something ever-so-elusive if people can't mine it!
NO ONE DOES THAT IN 2016! Only scammers, man Sad

Also, reference to the "Dandelion" by Boards of Canada :)

Any pools yet. I have a A2 scrypt miner and don't know how to solo mine with it, or even if it's possible (or maybe i'm just a bit thick  Cheesy) so no pool no mining for me.
If it is possible to solo mine, with a Terminator A2 110 M/h could some one give me a link to instructions.. Cheers

And the problem is still hot: cant sync, having a correct .conf file, nothing! HALP!

Hi,

The difficulty is high.
We need to use more hash power in order to mine the next block.
So the coin itself became a bottleneck, am I stupid?
How could you say something like this?
Not EVERYONE is having good time buying these machines, rude!

"setgenerate true" is working!

You got a pool nice. And you're going to be listed in yobit. Other than that name, what is the speciality of this coin? I could see trolls troll about the wallet builder generated coin. If you have good plan, any coin could survive later.

I am working on this to be a coin that will benefit people with poor eyesight, the roadmap is underway and more info coming very soon.

Thanks for the interest,

wallet not sync!!

create flexon.conf and past in this code:

Code:
listen=1
server=1
rpcuser=youruser
rpcpassword=yourpassword
rpcport=6626
port=6625
rpcallowip=127.0.0.1
addnode=node.walletbuilders.com

still no sync

rpcallowip=localhost
rpcuser=F6bAbdYTKHTuAg3db3ESvnDHzfuEhvt7nN
rpcpassword=x
rpcport=6626
port=6625
listen=1
server=1
addnode=node.walletbuilders.com

been worked on as i write this Smiley

So...mineblocks is the only pool we have?(
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: EDRCoin — Meet the brand new sustainable, energy efficient Cryptocurrency on: March 29, 2016, 04:53:11 PM

3) Mining is very simple - for mining you just need to download a wallet and buy some EDR Coins on yobit.net. That's all about mining, it's very simple - when EDR Coins are in your wallet - mining begins. Every day is charged up to 0.35% of amount on your wallet a day. That's something like 10% a month

well something is clearly wrong here, you cant buy coins if no one has coins, if you need coins to mine, the supply will remain 0 coins.

just a scam or? is this being instamined as we speak?
Perfect logic! Smiley

Same question: how to mine?
332  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] • [LC] • Lutetium Coin • POS/Premined POW Pool • energy free cloudmining on: March 28, 2016, 04:35:47 PM
This is basically an ICO

It isn't an ICO.
Instead of passing all coins out on an airdrop we want to generate the feeling of mining.
This is also good for a small continous generation/free coins not held by the master wallet.

You don't have to buy shares, you can also promote LC with a forum signature (we will update this later), setting up a blockexplorer/node or other services.

This is a coin for the community and we think this a new way to "farm" coins without bunring energy. This will also help vs 51% attacks on POW coins because it is 100% POS with POW from premined coins which will all be distributed.

If the community dislikes this way of coin distrubution we could also change from 100% Premine to 10% Premine with mentioned distrubution and 90% PoW, we also thought about that way but in this case again much energy would be burned. Consider farming scrypt on 1GH/S, you have to pay continous energy costs (except you are lucky and don't have to pay for energy). With cloudmining you only need to aquire some shares for receiving continous payouts depending on how many shares there are in total (we are not sure about maximum share count yet) for one year.
Wait, I'm asking seriously now...whats the point?
Can you make it clear for me?

Lutetium coin is designed to be 100% POS.
Instead or dropping/distributing all coins premined to the community we will have sth like a pool.
It is paying out 1250 LC every 60s and the users will, depending on aquired shares, receive LC like on normal POW coin. This service will be running for 1 year,after 1year all premined coins will have been payed out and it is 100% POS. In this way we generate the feeling of mining without the huge amount of energy needed for mining coins like BTC or DOGE. In addition there wont be all coins available in the beginning and the price can stabilize🙂

NEATO!

Don't worry guys.The dev will stop staking around the block 130000 and we will stake easily.
And of course,he will decentralize the network by selling all the premined coins on a exchange Smiley
Sure, it'll happen one day or another!

I'd bet you're feelin yourself guilty...
Because you've set a foundation, very bad one!
Any many more devs in future will follow the same path!

could you at least stop staking your 80% premine
what the fuck is wrong with you people
this coin should be dead by now
You are trying to scare people away, so that only you can stake and hash along.

its a bit tough, but im totally agreed with you!
coz wth 80%? not fun!

What do you guys think of a faucet?
What if I want to host a node, pls send me an instructions or...somethin Smiley
Just trying to be kind...

You can do the following:

1. Run a wallet daemon on your PC
2. Rent an online VPS.

To run a VPS:
1. Go to an online service provider like vultr.com (they accept Bitcoin as payment)
2. Create a Linux server
3. Install the dependencies
4. Compile the code
5. Open the daemon port on your firewall
6. Run the daemon
...dat extensive Cheesy
