Don't just go asking for loans right off the bat, at least contribute a little. No one is going to trust a brand new member especially with $18+. Look at all the loan defaults around here, most are from new members or just trusted accounts that were bought. That's why people are strict on loans now. If it was 2010 you might have gotten a 100 BTC loan without collateral
