323  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is CHINA CONTROLLING Bitcoin? on: July 17, 2016, 09:51:05 PM
Those who control the consensus narrative steer bitcoin as all other projects but who controls this really if anyone?Maybe market makers or major movers and shakers have influence over this or mining cartels have some other form of great leverage to influence the decision making process or others who create particular problems that steer the censensus towards their already formulated solution or maybe nothing at all.Chinese miners certainly have influence as do 1 billion potential users of bitcoin but is this the reality or just the illusion?

I went and backtested Armstrong's recent talks over the last few months.  Someone asked him on camera around March what he thought metals were going to do in the near future and if he was bullish.  He said they weren't going to do much and then the price exploded upwards shortly after.  Other people have noticed after Brexit that metals (and Bitcoin) benefited more over the US dollar, so this whole conspiracy that the world is going to all-in on the dollar during financial collapse is baseless IMO.

When a severe lack of trust forms over the competency and solvency of the EU governance, NOBODY is saying to themselves "hey, maybe I should invest in the American government run by the same banks and people."

The real truth is the USD is backed by the words Leading Super Power and that is a fact that will not be denied and is the reason USD is and will be the standard for as long as TPTB hold that power. We can like it or not but it is an inalienable fact.

I think floating exchange rates will be the pretext to use a fixed rate monetary unit but I would only be guessing what would be the reason for this to happen of course because I am no expert and my magic 8 ball may be malfunctioning.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [CARBON][SM] Carboncoin | For a Greener Future - Efficient+Secure+Sustainable on: July 16, 2016, 07:56:40 PM
Approximately 80% of our air pollution stems from hydrocarbons released by vegetation. How does carboncoin seek to address this. Most of the climate change debate is around man made emmissions spurred on by special interests in order to create a carbon market as we move towards a non industrialised age.

I'd love to see the data you are referring to here, as I am sure it can be put to good use.

Of course decomposition is a major source of emissions, but are you suggesting that a dramatic increase in the number of trees growing would not have a positive effect (for example over the lifespan of a tree ~150 years? And were we to continue to plant more trees and increase coverage (at an increasing rate) would this not easily offset the emissions of those trees which had died and were decomposing?

It has been suggested that we are some two trillion trees down from an original stock of ~5 trillion. This is a major thing which needs addressing for the long term survival of the species on the planet.

Sure, a meteor might hit and wipe us all out, but here, we simply aren't prepared to give up on this planet on the off chance we don't detect such a thing and take suitable steps to divert it - which I think is the basis of a popular justification for using resources for space exploration.

Strikes me that space exploration is a luxury afforded to those living in a stable habitat, not the situation we find ourselves in now.

The quote was made by the master of quotes ronald reagan but Dr Peter Harley National Center for Atmospheric research summarised that old 6x3 was not too far off in his statement.Dr Harley studied in depth the relationship between certain hardwood species/forests/woodland canopies and their emissions of volatile organic compounds. He has undertaken numerous studies and provided the relevant data to support this however I agree with you that it would be ludicrous to suggest that planting trees would have an adverse effect on the health of the atmosphere as certain species if planted in the correct habitat for that species and not in places where it is an alien species would be beneficial as a good store of carbon elements and other microbial pollutants for that matter however I am no expert.

It might be replaced by many cryptocurrencies if it does not achieve what it was supposed to in the first place.

Fuckers at the top need to be put on welfare for a couple of years as part of their induction training before entering public service. Then they should be offered the average industrial wage for a couple more. That would separate the wheat from the chaff. No expenses,No free travel on business class etc etc. Most of your tax money is wasted on interest on debts accumulated to pay for money wasted on mismanaged/misappropriated spending.Governments are becoming like any other slush fund embezzling funds setting up new things to spend your tax money on and creating more and more debt while they have job security and pensions that are are higher than those with three jobs who still cant pay the rent. For fucks sake your prison system now is even created for profit.

44 Reasons Why Evolution Is Just A Fairy Tale For Adults

When Charles Darwin popularized the theory of evolution, he didn’t actually have any evidence that it was true.  And since then the missing evidence has still not materialized.  Most Americans would be absolutely shocked to learn that most of what is taught as “truth” about evolution is actually the product of the overactive imaginations of members of the scientific community.  They so badly want to believe that it is true that they will go to extraordinary lengths to defend their fairy tale.  They keep insisting that the theory of evolution has been “proven” and that it is beyond debate.  Meanwhile, most average people sheeple are intimidated into accepting the “truth” about evolution because they don’t want to appear to be “stupid” to everyone else.

Cool

#2 When Charles Darwin came up with his theory, he admitted that no "transitional forms had been found at that time", but he believed that huge numbers certainly existed and would eventually be discovered…

Looks like darwin also wanted to "believe" ..

"I often had to run very quickly to be on time, and from being a fleet runner was generally successful; but when in doubt I prayed earnestly to God to help me, and I well remember that I attributed my success to the prayers and not to my quick running, and marvelled how generally I was aided."

-Charles Darwin

Next, note the evolutionist's use of the word "denier." This is a strong word, but why apply it to skeptics of the dogma that the world spontaneously arose? Evolutionists insist their idea is a scientific fact, and they fail to support this claim. In fact there are monumental scientific problems with this claim. Cannot people be skeptical without being labeled as a "denier"? If one wants to use the D word here, it would seem that those insisting evolution is a scientific fact are the ones who are in denial.

Thomas Huxley was a scientist and philosopher of the 19th century. He was most famous for his vehement defense of evolution as the source of earth's diverse life forms. He once said that he "protected" Darwin, referring to himself as "his bull dog." The moniker stuck, despite the philosophical and historical differences between the two men. Huxley was famed for some of his other exploits. Among these, his debate with Archbishop Samuel Wilberforce, his "progressive" philosophical work, and his supposed coining of the term "agnostic."

Deutsche Bank's Chief Economist Calls For €150 Billion Bailout Of European Banks

The cards have been tipped, and it appears Italy's Prime Minister may have been right.

In the aftermath of Brexit, much of the investing public's attention has turned to Italian banks which are in desperate need of a bailout as a result of €360 billion in bad loans growing worse by the day (and not a bail-in, as European regulations mandate, as that would lead to an immediate bank run) to avoid a freeze and/or collapse of Italy's banking sector. This has pushed stock prices - and default risk - on Italian banks to record levels. So far Italy's bailout requests have mostly fallen on deaf ears, as Germany's political leaders have resisted Renzi's recurring pleas for a taxpayer funded rescue. However, as we have alleged, and as the Italian Prime Minister admitted last week, the core risk for Europe is not just the Italian banking sector but the biggest bank of all in Europe: Deutsche Bank.

Recall last Thursday, when speaking at a joint news conference with Swedish Prime Minister Stefan Lofven, Matteo Renzi said other European banks had much bigger problems than their Italian counterparts.

On behalf of the sheeple who do not agree with the democratic process if it does not fall in line with their requirements academia and legal experts who are in disagreement with the chattel are not having it.Their shills are on overtime in order to reverse this referendum by all manner of trickery and doublespeak.
"Dr. Catterall believes that the Tory party should call a referendum in the Autumn once a new leader is elected "so as to create a negotiating position."

But he adds: "I think that's still fraught with difficulties because you'd have to be very, very clear about what the question is and even clearer about what the answer is. And you'd have to be damn sure you're going to get the answer you want because the risk is you're going to get another cock up like this one."

Dr. Catterall says there is a danger that Britain could be trapped in "never-endums" — a series of referendums as the public reject deal after deal that London negotiates with Brussels.

You'd have to be damn sure you're going to get the answer you want because the risk is you're going to get another cock up like this one"
