321  Local / Pilipinas / Re: How Bitcoin affects the daily life of a Filipino on: October 01, 2018, 05:26:36 AM
Kapag natutunan mo na mga different ways to earn via cryptocurrencies  ,mababago nito ang buhay mo instantly.
Kung dati im just a mom who do chores at nagaalaga lang sa mga kids, now i can proudly say that i can contribute as well
in our finances and its really fulfilling. I hope many moms out there can do what i do because of bitcoin.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: DONT INVEST IN BTC IF YOU CAN'T OR AFRAID OF TAKING RISK on: September 30, 2018, 06:41:02 AM
Thats what i say to my friends who are curious about what i do
When i finally got to give them an introduction about bitcoin ,its their call if they want to buy
But i discourage them when i sense that they are still confuse and unsure.
323  Economy / Economics / Re: Why I am quitting ICO's on: September 29, 2018, 12:45:38 PM
I also quit joining ICOS ,i have joined several from the past but i have never been a fan of ICO ,i just join because of the hype i guess
i have observed that most altcoins when launch in an exchange deflate in value lower than the ICO price. So i think its a better strategy to wait and invest when its already launched in an exchange. Trading is a waiting game and patience is a virtue if you missed one there will always be another chance.
324  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Whats your biggest mistake up to now on: August 17, 2018, 11:50:26 PM
Recently

I bought iotx , and sold it after two days. Unfortunetly next day it listed on binance , iotx moon . I have lost of oppertunity of 12000$

Thats biggest mistake done recently. Share your ones ?

Read all posts , you can undertand where  our weak points. Some too early sell , some too early buy.

From mistakes we can learn

I always make this mistake, selling way too early. But right now, as long as I am in profit I try not to beat myself over selling coins too early. One mistake i made is fomo, a lot of people shill coins and if i see green, i used to buy it thinking it will continue to rise, only to be dumped on right after buying.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why is the price of bitcoin so high on: August 17, 2018, 11:44:48 PM
Hello,

Im new in crypto and have a question (a stupid one).. I never really gave it much though and now i wonder.

Is price of bitcoin so high (compared to altcoins) because it is so much superior or is it just because it is THE coin - the original one.

Cheers Smiley

It is because bitcoin is the base of all cryptocurrency, aside from it is the first, all alts prices depends on bitcoin's movement. If bitcoin goes up, alts dump, if bitcoin goes down, alts dump.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there a fake coin? on: August 17, 2018, 11:42:59 PM
I just saw this somewhere on the internet. Are there any fake coins existing? How do you avoid buying fake coins?

There are coins that are pump and dumps. No real project backing behind, only empty promises to keep  the price up and then those holders will dump on the fomoers, and possibly will do exit scam. So be careful when buying alts, right now there's a lot of coins made everyday through airdrop, ICO.
327  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency will survive on: August 17, 2018, 11:40:21 PM
Cryptocurrency  is like a water in a bowl, the water moves but the bowl determines the flow

We crypto users are the Bowl. The reality of life is do you do the right things with the water (altcoins, bitcoins, Etherum Huh )

This simply means only crypto users causes the bearish moment and the bull run
Make the right decisions

I agree. We all have to know when to buy and when to sell, if not we will be facing huge losses and after we sell, the prices pump and again we will blame ourselves for selling in loss. Always research before buying anything.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Look at the market, are you scared? on: August 17, 2018, 11:38:36 PM
Recently, Apple has become a trillion dollar company. You see, Apple is just a company, yet it has quadrupled its entire investment in Crypto. We do not take into account other investment channels, such as real estate, gold or the huge cash flow that is floating or lying dead in the bank. Just only 1% cash flow of the stock market dump on Crypto, our property will increase tens of times. Do not know what you think but I still prefer to invest in it, it's risky but the potential is huge. I was ready to get another job and wait 10 years to reach $1 million. I will never give up this market.

Im not afraid at the market, i feel this is the time to put in some money and invest in cheap alts. Wait for another drop and again buy another alts that will stay in the long run.
329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SHOULD WE GET ALL HATERS OF BITCOIN OUT OF HERE? on: August 17, 2018, 02:33:16 PM
This forum was created for people to learn more about bitcoin and not to hate it or spread false information about it. Guys, is it enough that these days we sit here Angry and here all sorts of FUD being spread about bitcoin saying all sorts of things which are not true???
Let's not forget that it is as a result of these these FUDs that brings all sorts of panic sells which brings the value of bitcoin down and what bores me is that at the end the come back here and say, "Finally bitcoin is dead" forgetting the very fact that they were the very ones that caused it. But they can't because bitcoin is still strong.

The sad thing about this is that these haters are the people making money by causing panick and creating fud. Then making money and just hating bitcoin but making a lot of money just by hating bitcoin.
330  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: They want you to panic :-> on: August 17, 2018, 02:30:34 PM
When the price of a commodity drop with no reason, you should know that it is being manipulated. The reasons for this is quite simple, because a lot of people know this is a fake crash and they are going to make millions, when other people start to panic and start selling their coins at these low prices.

The secret to maximize your profits in this game is to buy coins at the lowest price possible and then again to sell at the highest price possible.

What do you do if people are hoarding their coins and refuse to sell? You simulate a fake crash by stockpiling your coins over a long period and then dumping those coins at once to trigger a small crash. You then buy back these coins at a lower price than what you bought them and wait for the market to recover.

This is what is happening now, because there is NO reason for this sudden drop in the price? Hold onto those coins as long as you can, because these greedy bastards will manipulate the markets to cause chaos and panic.

This is the truth to bitcoin. And people with money will gain more just by dumping and pumping. If you and some group do this you can affect the market and you can make lots of money just by being greedy
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin situation on: August 17, 2018, 02:26:10 PM
90% of those who are talking about death of bitcoin are the same people who are trying so hard to buy bitcoin when it drops a small 5% so that they can accumulate a tiny bit more.
The rest 10% are the newbies who fall for the 90% FUD and are scared of the situation.

One of the problems for bitcoin is that the price is affected by fud and bad news and so the people take advantage of that. Spreading lies so the price would go down then buy bitcoin to gain profit. Easiest way to make money.
332  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Future Of Crypto Market Without Bitcoin? on: August 17, 2018, 02:06:53 PM
of course, we all see that all markets are red and there are some fears of getting down more and more in the following days. but on the other hand, no one can ignore that bitcoin is the leader of all the crypto market, so if it down the whole market will go down as well, so it is too hard to believe that it will die that easy
and the major investors of it will not allow this to happen.
what do you think, am I right?

Bitcoin is the crypto market. It won't go away that easy and we are already in the digital age. Everything is online already so a digital currency isn't just new. But it is necessary and will dominate. Its just a matter of time the government has to make bitcoin a part of life
333  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I late to the party? on: August 17, 2018, 01:51:00 AM
I feel so late to the party. Coins now are very expensive, like $5800 for Bitcoin and $345 for Ethereum... then $5 - $30 for other coins. I take a look at the blockchain explorers and see big holders of coins, for example some people have 1000+ bitcoin, a lot of people have 500,000+ ethereum. These people got the coins when they were 1 penny each, now I have to pay $500 for the same coin?

Why are the coins so expensive today? Can I go back in time and get them cheaper?

Even if I put in a lot of my money, I only get a fraction of what people were able to get 1 year ago. 1 year ago people got coins for 1 penny and stashed 100,000 coins for $1000, now I have to pay $1000 just for 1 coin?!? I feel so ripped off!

Also I knew about Bitcoin when it was $30, and I knew about Ethereum when it was $7! I was alive in these time periods and was looking online and reading about these things but it all flew by!

Am I too late to the party? Is it a good time to get buy today or should I find a way to time travel back in time?

My frustration is BIG.

Now a lot of coins are cheap, and it can get cheaper when BTC decides to drop or move up suddenly. Also check news as almost everyone in this market is very reactive to such. You can start buying small bags from here or wait a little longer and check btc price from time to time.
334  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: SAFEST ALTCOINS TO INVEST IN? on: August 17, 2018, 01:42:39 AM
i am not looking to make a huge profit, just modest gains and minimal chance of loss. Any altcoins?

Go for ETH, and NEO. These alts can survive long, prices may drop but it will recover along with the market. For others, you may research low cap coins with good potential.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment? on: August 16, 2018, 04:36:48 PM
Can you stop calling Bitcoin an investment?

This damages the cryptocurrency. Bitcoin was not created to become an investment. Before Bitcoin, there were some digital currencies years back, the goal was always to be able to create a (digital) currency free from central banks and governments.
Cypherpunks and other anarcho-capitalists are at the origin of this idea, perhaps 20 or 30 years ago. None were intended to make an investment to be rich quickly.
You won't find in the white paper "investing" mentioned, you won't find any post from Satoshi mentioning it

Considering Bitcoin as an investment, this is the reason why we have more and more regulations, G20 summits and others craps, KYC, etc...
The word "Crypto-assets" didn't exist before, why did they create it? Because you even consider it an investment, then why shouldn't they?
Bitcoin could be a lot more accepted and used by now. Why should a merchant agree to be paid in Bitcoin? He wants money, not a piece of your investment.

You're not even investing, you are just gambling with money.
Go to the altcoins board, you will surely find plenty of ICOs where you can say you invested in. I have something for you, ICOs used to raise money are no different than "Crowdfunding". If you want to invest then there are a lot of Crowdfunding websites where you can invest in real startups with fewer risks, (you won't find any project using photos from Pixabay...)

Why don't we see cryptographers anymore? Guess the reasons

The purpose of bitcoin may be different from the original idea but once you put in money it will be an investment no matter how big or small the amount.
336  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the world ready for cryptocurrency? on: August 16, 2018, 04:03:19 PM
Although there are a few countries who uses bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies now, I cannot help but wonder if the world is truly ready for this digital currency? It will certainly be hard to replace all currencies in the world but it could happen in a decade or so, perhaps even less? Still the question is, is the world ready? I think if this happens it might be one of the biggest changes that will happen worldwide.

I think this is the right time for cryptocurrency. We are in the digital age and it is about time for digital currency. Almost everybody can access the internet already so it won't be hard for people to be using digital currency
337  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the existence of bitcoins a threat to jobs and national currencies? on: August 08, 2018, 03:58:27 PM
We all know how powerful bitcoins are especially in financial terms. Having one makes you feel like a newly-crowned king ready for his throne and lux. Its value and essence is something that we cannot just ignore, resulting for some people relying on these 'God-given grace' instead of working hard and gaining the money that their own country uses. Some thought that it would be better off to have bitcoins and convert it into any kind of currency rather than to get a job and earn some thing. What do you think? Will bitcoin be able to eclipse the existence of national currencies in the near future?

It is not a threat but bitcoin helps give income to people who needs jobs or cannot find jobs. Bitcoin gives everybody a chance to earn a decent living. Not without hardwork and resourcefulness.
338  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: how are you increasing your BTC portfolio? on: August 02, 2018, 04:13:14 PM

339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is it the Future of Banking ? on: August 02, 2018, 04:02:28 PM
i was thinking about the Bitcoin and it's Future in Banking . can it remplace money in transactions ?

Bitcoin will stay as it is. A mode for transferring money anywhere around the world. But it will not be and cannot be a replacement for banking institutions. Bitcoin can be a means of investment or if you just want to keep Your money. But it will never replace banks and government currency
340  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN won't die, period. on: August 02, 2018, 03:48:38 PM
As you can see that BTC is the largest crypto among all in the market, I just really do not understand why people like to claim that BTC is about to die, do not easily fall for these kinds of topics and think that Bitcoin is dying, put some research on it, its just another person's opinion but again it is misleading. One last thing before you reply, this is extremely important and might be a big help for you (especially for newbies) avoid agreeing with such wrong info given to you, be sure to take extra care in replying, and the most important part of all is that you should make some research and do not forget to read the thread (if necessary) it is also important as you can gain new information from other people, though just make sure that what you are reading is very much legitimate.

Thank you and feel free to respond, I wanna see your insights about this.

Bitcoin today is just massive and very useful. Transferring money from anywhere around the world is just very convenient. Earning a living is not that easy but it is very doable for anyone as long as you study and learn what you are going into then you won't fail. That is why bitcoin won't die
