321  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Please can someone suggest to me the best and safest trading platform? on: March 04, 2018, 10:51:28 PM
Binance, Bittrex, and HitBtc are top leading Players in the market which provide the opportunity to trading on their platform. All these exchanges have very user-friendly and easy to understand.
322  Local / India / Re: What is Unocoin? on: March 04, 2018, 10:43:03 PM
Unocoin is good...but it does not provide an opportunity of live trading like Zebpay. The diff. between Buy/sell is quite large on Unocoin. Recently Unocoin has added some Altcoin on their platform. This will provide more opportunity to Unocoin users to try with Other altcoins.
323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Uber co-founder Garrett Camp is launching new cryptocurrency - Eco on: March 04, 2018, 10:22:27 PM
Uber co-founder Garrett Camp is creating a new cryptocurrency
What do you think about this Eco?
Is it something grandiose, like Telegram, or just another hype?

Can't really say that it's a hype created like a Telegram, Jiocoin etc or a true story. Well if co-founder itself has declared their future plans, then it has quite positive chances of being true. Its launch surely bring a strong bullish wave in the market
324  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Will the Bull Market Return in 2018? What's Your Prediction? on: March 04, 2018, 10:12:16 PM
Since I have been trading, every correction has been followed by new all time highs for most cryptocurrencies.  If this trend continues, many of us trading today will become wealthy.  On the other hand, given the growing trend of new government regulations, this may be the beginning of a long winter.  Where do you think we're headed in 2018?

I think Bitcoin bullish trend has begun after the long bearish winters. Everything at this point of time seems to be positive and therefore Bitcoin is rising on steady growth rate. But all this bullish wave depend upon the upcoming Gov. stand on cryptocurrencies. If everything remains to be positive, soon BTC will trade on its all-time high price. We can surely say that 2018 is the most important year for crypto-future.
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Does Central Bank really have impact on bitcoin? on: March 04, 2018, 09:58:34 PM
are the price movements related to those speeches of the central banks such as the BOE?

See first we need to understand that banks do not have any direct relation with the crypto-currency price index. But Central Bank being a strong financial institution of the country directly affect the country economy so speeches and statement Issued by central banks have indirect Relation with crypto.
326  Economy / Economics / Re: Would you rather see steady growth in Bitcoin or strong upward spikes instead? on: March 04, 2018, 09:51:21 PM
Long-term investors will definitely like Steady growth, but traders like volatility as it creates opportunities for them to earn huge profits. These Strong spikes are mostly created by pump and dump groups or due to some specific news. That is the golden time for Traders to earn huge profits.
327  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: best sources of information on: March 04, 2018, 09:31:09 PM
Where do you guys get your info from?  Like Twitter, PBC, coindesk articles, etc.  Always looking for new sources for research Smiley

There are many sources where an individual can gain knowledge and remain updated about the crypto world. You can install a cryptocurrency news app to get all latest updates. Apart from that follow some twitter pages to understand the hype and market scenario. Even This forum itself is a great source of information, so stay active on it also.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: HODL vs Day trading on: March 03, 2018, 10:35:20 PM
Day trading may be more profitable but it needs skills to earn huge profits. You have to good tech. analyst to be a successful trader.
On the other hand, HODL strategy is a long-term investment. You have to analyze well about a coin/token before investing because this decision will make you rich in future.
So if you don't have time and skills then I suggest you go for HODL strategy and enjoy seeing your money grow.
329  Economy / Economics / Re: Bill Gates says crypto-currencies cause deaths on: March 03, 2018, 10:26:16 PM
I don't really agree with this statement that Bitcoin is causing death. In that way, Even Internet is responsible for youth's porn addiction. Emerging tech may have side-effects, but that does not mean that tech. is harmful. It depends on the users, how they use it. Moreover, before BTC it is not like drugs are never sold, FIAT was responsible for people's death and addiction till now.
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are there currently Decentralized Exchanges? on: March 03, 2018, 10:16:58 PM
There are many exchanges which do not ask for KYC such as Binance, Bitfinex, HitBTC, Idex etc.
But as govt. of various countries are getting strict on crypto trading, these exchanges may ask for KYC anytime. You may enjoy the trading until that time. May that time never come.
331  Economy / Economics / Re: Cryptocurrency on: March 03, 2018, 10:12:13 PM
Can cryptocurrency become universal means of exchange. I mean can it be a global legal tender like the physical money
Can't say at this stage. Bitcoin growing popularity and users positive response has to lead us to this discussion of making BTC as a global currency. But we need to understand the complexity of this process like:
1. Govt. stand on BTC legality: Not all countries have declared BTC as a legal mode of payment. Some may consider BTC as an asset, commodity, good etc.
2. High transaction fees of Bitcoin
3. Long confirmation hours and many more
332  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Cost-effective marketing strategy for an ICO? Totally flopped on: March 03, 2018, 10:02:50 PM
Guys. Golden comedy, ive made an ICO -and managed to attract fewer than 40 subscribers. its second day on for the ongoing sale and the contribution level is zero haha.
we obviously suck at marketing then.
How would you carry a marketing campaign to collect roughly 1,000ETH?
Budget for marketing? Top viral tools? Tips and tricks?
Im despondent and will cry you guys a river tonight.

First thing you need to have done is understand how the market works. Successful ICOs didn't happen by default and its a serious work. 1000ETH as at today is close to a million dollars and you think its just going to come falling in your wallet? Even those that have carried on aggressive campaigns both on the forum and outside of it, had to reduce their soft cap when they realize that target is not being met. My question is

1. What is your project about, when a product/project is not marketable, you tend to spend huge amount of time, energy and funds to get little people interested which makes it seems the marketing is not working.

2. What is your team composition? Because to be sincere, you dont sound like someone who have a team as everything about your statement is on a singular person statement. You need to have a worthy team that believes in the dream (if any) before commencing anything. The ICO market is more fragile everyday that you need to go beyond the average to run a successful one which does not strike me like you are doing.

Its true...Running a ICO is not a child play. You need to do some serious efforts to make a ICO successful. I don't understand OP that why you asking for a solution without sharing your project details. Are you planning to fraud people just by creating a dummy project!!!
Marketing strategies will only work if you have a good product/idea and a reliable team who can gain investors trust.
333  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Eco: Co-founder Uber launches new electronic currency on: March 03, 2018, 09:56:08 PM
I am really glad to hear this news that big giants like uber are supporting and launching their own utility token. The era of utility token has started with this. I hope to see other Big companies to support and develop their own tokens soon in 2018.

335  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: March 02, 2018, 10:02:51 PM
The fall and collapse of the crypto-currency exchange rates do not scare investors in comparison with December 2017, but rather vice versa - new crypto funds are launched in the US and Europe. Offering the Swedish exchange Nasdaq Nordic exchange-traded note for bitcoin and ETH, Coinshares Group is launching two new funds: "Active" and "Large Cap" . The first offers a fairly aggressive strategy for investing in promising cryptocurrencies, the latter uses a more passive strategy and a wider basket of digital assets.
If you are in a position - hold.
If you have the finest money - buy in parts.
Everything goes to the fact that in May we are expected again the rally

Well said. The market has shown quite a positive traction in last few weeks which again lit a flame of hope among investors. It often happens that position holders got panic during the crash of market which further lowers the prices. A smart trader starts accumulating or buying at that time to take the advantage of the bullish wave that will soon come after this downtrend.
336  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin benefit of saving for a long time? on: March 02, 2018, 09:55:50 PM
Long-term investors who are quite optimistic towards the price rise of BTC in upcoming years like to HODL the coins. What I realize that these Investors either don't have time or knowledge of trading so they prefer to remain the silent by holding BTC having a long-term point of view.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the best exchange platform on: March 02, 2018, 09:48:02 PM
I prefer to use Binance and Bitfinex. Binanace is quite user-friendly and also a have mobile app which will let you access your account from anywhere. Bitfinex got some amazing feature like funding and margin trade which no other exchange provides.
338  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: ICOs asking for passport...is it safe? on: March 02, 2018, 09:44:16 PM
Many of the ICO's are required KYC now a days. But in this era of many fraudulent ICO's, it is a serious matter of concern that providing our Identity card can be bit dangereous as they may misuse or sell our information to some other agency which might harm us some way or other. But till now I haven't heard of any such incident so can't really say anything. I suggest you not to share your ID's and info on telegram groups.
