Wieder 4 Plätze bei Windice by Yahoo! 2x Member, 2x "zwischen Full und Hero"

There are currently 4 open spots in this campaign 2 member spots and 2 spots between hero- full member. Anyone that is accepted I will expect not to fully qualify for max pay this week most likely, but you have time to apply and make some posts before payday.

Zur Erinnerung:

Member- $.25 cents per post
Full member- $.50 cents per post
Sr member- $1 per post
Hero- $1.75 per post
Legendary- $2.50 per post

All will be paid in btc at this rate

Mind. 5 Posts/Woche
Mind. 5 in Gambling
Max. 20 Posts/Woche

Viel Erfolg!

This time is not the right time to invest in Altcoins. BTC still dominate whole market, and its direction still not clearly. So we need to observe despite of enter the market. You can keep your BTC, and keep your fiat and Waiting for Altcoins to set up new ATL.

Even if the alts reach ATL levels, there is no guarantee that they'll give good returns. Some of the smaller altcoins and tokens are already at ATL. The issue is that their future outlook looks so bleak that investing in them is nothing short of committing suicide. Some of these cryptocurrencies have become dormant and no one is trading with them in the exchanges.

Personally, I would not recommend investing in any cryptocurrency other than Bitcoin right now. Even established altcoins, including Ethereum, Litecoin, Monero.etc are looking hopeless. They may not die out all of a sudden, but their decline will be constant and slow-paced, similar to what happened to the Yahoo stock in the NASDAQ stock exchange.

i wouldn't say that about monero though, i think privacy coins will continue to be in demand, don't you think?
325  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading competitions on: September 11, 2019, 11:17:23 AM
Hello, I'm new to trading. My question is, when I enter a trading competition to see who has the highest volume, do I have to pay a transaction fee? Or will the organizer pay back the transaction fee to me?
usually you should be able to just check the ranking without paying a fee - but it probably depends on the exchange you are trading on.
for instance on binance you only need to log in to your account to check the top positions of a competition.

maybe i didn't miss the point. anyway, i understand and it doesn't matter too much. cheers Cool

i am offended by your statement. then, why hire translators at all? just use google translate. Tongue
i am in crypto since a long time and usually get paid properly for professional translations.

$5 for 2400 is a pittance - but you get what you pay for.
328  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Investing in multiple altcoins on: September 11, 2019, 07:51:34 AM
I advise you to add to the list of BeatzCoin, +50% per month, at the end of September listing on a major exchange

I'm not sure about your advice my friend.
I've never even heard of Beatzcoin
do you mean + 50% is monthly profit? if yes isn't that hype?
it's not much different from the miracle tele and making me stuck forever until now.
I suggest you be careful with these coins and start glancing at the major coins in the CMC rank.

Very high risk for new altcoins. Not not believe, it's just that we really have to be careful. What's more it hasn't been listed on the main exchange, but already talks of huge profits. Things like this that should be avoided, I agree that it is better to look for the top altcoin CMC.

if it sounds "too good to be true"... it probably is. sounds like a scam to me.

Vielleicht als kleine Hilfe bei der Entscheidungsfindung: Ich habe dieser Tage mit Yahoo geschrieben und er ist nicht der größte Fan von wildem "Rumgehüpfe für ein paar mehr Cent". Vielleicht hilft es dem einen oder anderen bei seiner Entscheidungsfindung.

Aber bitvest und rocketpot ist schon etwas mehr als paar mehr Cent  Shocked

Was mir gerade einfällt. Ist bekannt, wie lange Rocketpot geht? Was bringt mir eine gut entlohnte aber kurzfristige Kampagne, wenn die andere viel beständiger läuft....?

eher nicht, im bounty thread stand nicht wie lange die kampagne dauern wird. vielleicht kannst einfach den BM mal fragen?

Oh mann, jetzt bin ich bei BitVest angenommen worden und plötzlich sind zwei neue Möglichkeiten eröffnet worden: CM, Rocketpot. Was mach ich jetzt bloß?

tja, is halt ne "spatz in der hand vs. taube aufm dach" situation.
ob er bei den anderen kampagnen genommen würde ist unklar.

ich denke kein BM ist wirklich "sauer" wenn man sich anders entscheidet Smiley
aber sie haben vielleicht ihre kleine ominöse "black list" auf der man dann wahrscheinlich landet. Cheesy

am besten einfach bewerben und warten bis CM und rocketpot entschieden wurde.

We are still open for suggestions of better distribution methods.

I think translators of the wallet app should be rewarded for their work. They spend time working and allow users to operate wallet in native languages which brings value to the network. Alas they get nothing in return. Instead funds are spent on random people with lottery.

The wallet app is translated 100% in only 10 languages. Some incentive wouldn't hurt.

I second that. Bounties for HQ work would put bytes in the hands of people who really deserve them - which surely would benefit adoption. Indeed it's a nonsense NOT to pay translators while giving out tons of bytes to random lottery winners. I could myself do excellent translations in Italian, should they be needed and should there be a reward for that.

What are you guys talking about? The translators have always been rewarded for their previous translations and there was just week ago a translation campaign announcement on Discord to translate the GUI wallet again because lot of texts have changed since most of the languages were translated last time. Italian is already fully translated and will be released with new version.

We initially accepted only DaVinci and Utopian.io translators/proofreaders because the quality was higher there, but now we have extended it to community members too (people who actually use the app). Translations are funded from community fund (donations from Realname Attestation bot and fees from Username Attestation bot). There isn't that much to translate as there is funds in distribution fund, so your criticism on other distribution methods (draw airdrop is not the only one) doesn't make much sense.

i remember translations have been handled on crowdin a year ago: https://crowdin.com/project/byteball

that was before translations have been handled via discord / davinci / utopian.io.
i can check what has been done around that time, maybe we could discuss a belated compensation for german translation work, since i didn't get paid.

i will also check on discord if any help is needed for the GUI translation.

I remember clearly that a few years ago translations were not paid at all. I would have loved do the Italian translation then, which was missing, but then I didn't since there was no reward for that - while at the same time tons of Gigabytes where thrown at BTC holders. Perhaps you were not in Byteball community back then tarmo888.

same here, i remember discussing that with the main translation coordinator punqtured on crowdin. he got only a small gbyte donation to distribute, not worth mentioning. i also think the rewards should be paid more generously to translators. it should be at least the standard industry rate.

340  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-08-31] Bitcoin bank accounts now available to European citizens on: September 09, 2019, 09:27:36 AM
in germany the law and crypto regulation would change in 2020.
a regulated licensed crypto service may be useful for some, but not all germans or visitors are looking for such service.
nevertheless, it is interesting to see that this is now possible, some years ago bitcoin was declared illegal in germany.

I'm not aware that it was declared illegal at all. It was classified as property afair

okay maybe not declared illegal by the government, but officially always mentioned in the news in combination with illegal use cases, like money laundering, terrorism and other illegal activities.

here is an example when they called for a clamp down / crackdown / regulation:
