People always recommend top 100 on CoinMarketCap, why don't you narrow the scop of your search withing this parameter and select the good one's among them, you can reduce it to top 50 so it won't be too much for you to research on, make your own choice becsuse nobody can give an accurate answer.
At least top CMC is indeed a reference for many people because of the trading volume or they are already listed in a market that has confidence. I think there are a lot of people here who have given their opinion about altcoins with the Ethereum platform to invest in.
