323  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Forget Bitcoin - Memecoins Like Pepe, FLOKI and Bonk Are the Big Gainers Now on: March 04, 2024, 03:41:58 PM
Well, it has become now the cycle of meme coins, don't you think? I think a lot of people are now starting to see the changes in the flow of money to meme coins and it should've been a great time to buy because of the hype. We still need to be sure on how much you are going to invest per trade depending on what the amount you are trying to do.

Any meme coin that you are looking forward next? I think WIF are still in it or something.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What Work Now May Not Work Tomorrow on: March 04, 2024, 10:43:35 AM
I think it will just run in short-terms compared to the long-term because in the long-term, you might not reach it anymore and the house edge would be greater and your capital will be eaten.

It's safe to say that you should just focus on enjoying the game rather than focusing on trying to beat the game unless you are in a skill-based game like poker or something. Other than that, I think it can be a great tool to use for entertainment, not for money making.
325  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What are your price predictions for the upcoming JUP token launch? on: March 03, 2024, 04:09:20 PM
Since it's been quite a while since the JUP token launch, it has been an interesting ride because a lot of people are now seeing how much they are trying to make use of JUP. I have tried it and it's a good way to trade, stake, and more.

Quote from: btc78
I have been hearing good things about JUP recently and it would not be surprising to see it reach great lengths right now it is already getting some attention and it would not be that far to reach $1 when it gets listed the real question is will it be able to maintain the $1 and even increase furthermore or will it just go down after its initial launching?
All those new projects can disappoint some time if you are not careful as an investors and, you can fall victim to such project that will display from the beginning just to attract investors and the moment the numbers of investors increase higher before you will begin to see the real side of the project you hope that it will do well in the future.

Since we know that taking altcoins as an investment is a risk and it may bring something good in the future or it may bring something bad in the future which are two things one must involved  among the two before taking any decisions and, I believe Jup will reach $1 but it will not reach 6 months before the price will fall down again.

You know that it's one of the successful projects in Solana and it has become free money for the people who are using it. I do hope that a lot of people would be able to make their own way in obtaining those special airdrops and maybe help in day-to-day life. It has been a successful drop recently IIRC. I'm looking at SOL more and more now because of it.
326  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: People are selling now, what are you keeping for later and which are you selling on: March 03, 2024, 03:20:35 PM
There are a lot of people here who are invested in altcoins because it's the natural cycle mostly in the cryptocurrency market. I think with the recent rise in price has made crypto more exposed again and a lot of people are buying into it and more exposed with what the recent happenings are.

If you start to hear people who don't usually talk about crypto or non-tech-savvy people, it means it might be really mainstream. It could be an indicator, you know?
327  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Lottery ticket sports bets on: March 03, 2024, 02:48:26 PM
I have tried a couple of bets to maybe have that lucky bet. I have seen a couple of posts from before here in the forum that made his 0.5 mBTC to 8 BTC, that's a lot and that would change a man's life lol.

It's hard, even if you do the minimum or the "sure matches" in terms of odds, you still can't manage to get everything right. It's definitely hard but if it does, it's jackpot.
328  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Spot Trading vs Futures Trading on: March 03, 2024, 03:16:50 AM
The advantage of trading spot is that you won't have to worry about liquidation and will be able to select the coins you want to proceed with. You should select a coin that you should be able to say "I'm okay with having a bag of this coin" or something like that so if we are in a bear market, you wouldn't worry too much about the price going down.

Just know and research the background of the coin you are trying to trade so that you would see that there is actual trading volume for that specific coin.
329  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Acquired knowledge from cryptocurrency indulgence on: March 02, 2024, 02:03:43 PM
The knowledge that I have been treasuring so much is the part where I am more secure with what I have and making sure that I won't be hacked or something like that. You should be able to embody it in every part of your life and then you could say that you have learned the knowledge.
330  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it time now to use Premium VPN when playing in the casino? on: March 02, 2024, 01:06:41 PM
I know that it's a premium service with VPNs, I remember when I purchased a new subscription and it had that kind of option but I didn't opt-in because it's quite expensive and I didn't think it would be too useful for me. I'm not sure about how I would use it as well. Maybe just security? Like your purpose with playing in casinos.

It would be ideal to use that if you are always playing in the casino.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has this ever happened to you as a gambler? on: March 02, 2024, 11:27:43 AM
The situation and the part where you are triggered by the things that make you gamble are the problem. Making yourself in a situation that makes it easy for you to gamble (if you are addicted) is the problem.

The attitude and personality would make you prone to that situation where greediness and addiction.

I think I have never made myself or had to stop myself from gambling.
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: F1 Formula Sports Racing - Sportsbet.io promotions & discussion thread on: March 02, 2024, 11:13:52 AM
Perez is given 25.00 odds for the win... Still he is in a really bad condition. He is just not the right driver for the seat anymore and Red Bull boss must be also aware of that. I know I'm prejudiced as the season is starting new. But after seeing this performance in qualifying I just can't see any difference with the previous season.

Red Bull overlook this for now because of Verstappen's single-handedly carrying the team but at some point Perez would be shown the door.  Sad
We will see it this season. For sure if Perez somehow made some points, he might be retained but if not, I think Ricciardo might be at the door at the half of the season. We'll never know until we see it. I hope that we are entertained with the season now and it's not just pure red bull, you know?
333  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: WHO DOES CRYPTO DAY TRADING? on: March 02, 2024, 09:39:03 AM
I do trade daily but not me personally, just my account with trading 24/7 using Gunbot. You can check my thread linked below.

It has made me some significant money with continuous trading in the market today.
334  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mom won 50,000$ in Lottery on: March 01, 2024, 07:35:35 PM
I love the idea of what the mom would do with the money. It seems she is aware of what they are going to do with the money. Investing would be great and I hope the investment that she picks would give her more blessings or something. I'm curious if it's about the eyes because she might have poor vision and just thought it was just $5000 lol
335  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How Are You Identifying Potential Coins for the Bull Run? on: March 01, 2024, 07:26:08 PM
Mostly I focus on the parts where there are solid projects like the following
  • On chain activity
  • Volume of traading
  • How mainstream it is
  • Where it's listed

I think with the last part, it's important to know that they are serious and a part of the possible growing coins in the market.

Welcome!! Are you another Max groupie or are you with most of this group and supporting anyone not named Max? Smiley
Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm supporting a person not named Max but I will probably pick him in the picks just because of how he dominates the current F1. I think the first race would set the expectations.  Shocked
337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How Do You See Losing Your Weekly Payment to The Casino on: February 29, 2024, 04:53:41 PM
I remember when I was in a casino campaign, Bitsler, and I was trying to gamble what I had earned. It's just tempting especially if it is kind of easy to just put it there and gamble. Sometimes, if I win some competition and it's in the casino already, I get interested in gambling it because it's there and I get tempted the thought of "maybe I could make this double" in something like that.

It's really hard to accept it but you have to know what the facts are and not change the severity of what actually happened. Know what you are doing and you'll be ok.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: Beginner questions on: February 29, 2024, 09:26:30 AM
You have the wrong idea that Bitcoin is in a stock exchange, it is in an exchange but cryptocurrency exchanges, not in stocks because BTC is not stocks. For eToro, I think they are treating it as stocks. Is that why you have set that?

For your question with $250, you would lose that value depending on the percentage of losses that you have. In spot markets, it would be directly proportional, like if it goes down 10%, you would lose $25, something like that. If $250 is all your position.

You can purchase BTC and HODL it on your own even if it's zero in value. The digital part is that you still own it.
339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Loss and Trailing Stop Loss in Spot Trading on: February 28, 2024, 02:40:51 PM
Or maybe you can just put a limit order for yourself in the lower area as long as you tick the "Post Limit Order", making sure that it would be a limit order and not a market order. You can sell it as a sell part and set the order price and then you can tick the Post limit and then just let the trades happen. It's quite easy now, IMO, because now it's just part of your order already in some exchanges compared to before because this is the manual way,
340  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: From today; 28.02.2024 - How low do you think the coming BTC dip will be..?? on: February 28, 2024, 02:16:09 PM
I'm actually worried about what would happen with the altcoin market after everything because you know the cycle is usually like this

BTC -> ETH -> ALTS -> NFTS -> RED MARKET

This is just what I have observed and I think we are back to the cycle and I can't wait what is in store for everyone here.
