We cannot totally rely on our expectation as it bitcoin price is too unpredictable though halving had happened twice, and it really make the price soar but that doesn't mean it will always happen as halving comes. Market isn't always what we think it should be. It doesn't work in a way we want it to. Surely, dumps and high rate of demand plays a big role in controlling the market but it doesn't rely on much of that. It has other sector that other people might know or not. And besides, though high price brings fortune still we have to take work in earning that, that's why bear market isn't always a bad thing because that is anther opportunity for us to save and take advantage when market is at its peak.

I got confused, the same as you guys. I was wondering on what the OP really did want to state here. The game winning percentage was 50% and purely based on what would be the result, no tecnhnique nor analysis was made, and he is asking on who would win. I just came up with a bit of an idea that person "Y" would win either way or both? But the one who would've potentially the great loss is "X" of course, he wouldn't have any left to return when the game was over except "Y" who still got a 140$.
