321  Economy / Economics / Re: How long could bitcoin last? on: October 04, 2017, 07:21:29 AM
As of right now, the bitcoin price is expected to keep going up in the next 20 years. But can it last that long? I believe it's possible. But can't it crash at a random time? Like the price going down hard.

Are you being sarcastic? How should price be related to existence of Bitcoin?
I seriously believe crypto community should understand nothing lies in price, what actually matter is "UTILITY". instead of growing number of exchanges, I wanna see growing number of Bitcoin merchants. So don't consider price to be the decisive factor of Bitcoin success or failure.
We cant predict that because we all know that bitcoin is unstable and the stabiliti of the bitcoin is the disadvantage i think.
322  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are your plans with your Bitcoin? on: October 04, 2017, 01:40:27 AM
Hi guys Smiley May I know what are your plans on your Bitcoin in the future? Do you plan to keep on investing on Bitcoin related businesses or do plan to convert it into fiat and ventures on new business?

I'm planning to invest more on Bitcoin related companies and convert some of my Bitcoin into fiat and invest it on our local stock market. How about you?

There's no much places to invest, also we can see a lot of scams related to bitcoin.

My plan is use it as a currency, not an investment, just spend some coins here and there and that's it.

Well, if you just plan to use it for buying, I'm pretty sure that in no time there will be no Bitcoin left in your hands. Unless you will buy more Bitcoin in some sites that offers Bitcoin exchange.
My plan is that i save my bitcoins and i will spend it when i have something to buy. For example a car or motor that can accelerate fast. In short i want race car. But for me its hard to get that big amount of money buy that car but btc is here.

324  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: Hanggang kailan tatagal ang BITCOIN? on: September 27, 2017, 01:48:52 AM
325  Economy / Economics / Re: Best way for steady income on: September 26, 2017, 07:25:38 AM
Well if you have a job, make sure to invest some of the money, you get by it, at the end of the month in Bitcoin - like 5%-10% or something. I think this will be the most secure way, since you wont notice the money you are investing and you will always have some Bitcoin. Then just keep the Bitcoin and don't touch it - by a couple of years your investment may turn into "gold" Cheesy The other thing that comes to my mind is to invest in some Proof of Stake alt coin that is promising - like for example Solarcoin, which is growing stronger and stronger everyday, and just let your wallet stake the amount and your coins will grow by a small amount everyday Smiley
I think i will go to investing. But i have not enough knowledge about investing i only know is that joinjng in a signature campaigns. Weekly campaigns or bounty campaigns. But mostly i am joining in a bounty signature campaign.
326  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin just an asset ? on: September 26, 2017, 05:27:46 AM
I have read in the news that that like bitcoin as virtual currencies are assets and does not have the characteristics or what it takes to be a currency that could meet our modern economic needs. It was said that it does not have the fundamental attributes. What are your thoughts about it?

Bitcoin for me is both an asset as well as a currency. It has all the necessary requirements needed for it to be classified as either a commodity as well as currency. It is a currency as there are more and more places worldwide where bitcoins are accepted as a form of payment. Meanwhile, it is still a commodity as there are thousands of users across the world (if not more) who just hold on to bitcoin for its value, or more like future value. It is expected that the price will drive upwards even further and this is why they are just holding onto it and not doing anything else with it. They might prefer the advantages / stability that their normal currency offers them now, or they might just want to hold onto as many bitcoins as they can and spend as little as possible.

Its a bit of both, but it ultimately comes down to the person using it. They might want to do either things with bitcoin as mentioned above.
Yes truly agree that bitcoin is just an asset because we cant totally prefer to it as our main source of income. For me, its just a sideline that can help you to your expenses. It can help you financially. And its feauture like payment systems.
327  Economy / Economics / Re: 1Bitcoin as a gift from someone on: September 26, 2017, 02:10:08 AM
If you be given a gift of 1BTC by someone and for you this amount is already something you did not expect. Will you sell your bitcoin right away and convert it into cash or just keep it for a better price to come or invest it or what?

I would hold it. The way I see it is that regardless of how much bitcoin you have, you don't actually own money that you can use until:

1) you convert the bitcoin to USD or whatever usable currency there is in your country
or
2) Bitcoin becomes so widely accepted that it can be used anywhere.

So, when you're given a gift, you don't have anything to lose -- you're not in the negative by buying that bitcoin or by losing it. You're technically only in the positive. For that reason, and because I feel that bitcoin has time to blossom even more, I would hold. I would also make sure to be cautious about drops though.
I disagree. If i have somethong to give to a person that so important to me. I will not give bitcoin or any money. Intead of giving money i want to give a thing that it reminds him/her always that i am the one who gave that gift.
328  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: May limit ba ang pag post dito sa bitcoin? on: September 25, 2017, 12:20:38 PM

329  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What are you using bitcoins for? on: September 24, 2017, 07:31:50 PM
I use Bitcoin to play Video Poker on:
https://strikesapphire.com/
and Lotto on:
http://www.bitlotto.com/
The rest I keep for my pension  Cheesy

330  Economy / Economics / Re: Wasn't that good to use bitcoin as your lifetime asset? on: September 20, 2017, 01:32:14 AM
Please help me make clear idea about how good bitcoin is to be a digital asset as we become old in the future, and this served as our lifetime asset same as pension when your retire from your current job at the age of 60.

If you are planning to make bitcoin a digital asset, it is good because every year it's price and value are making a huge pump. If you will be looking at the price chart of 2016 and you compare it to the price of these year, you can see a huge price increase.

I think it will depend on your age now and how much are your bitcoins that you are planning to hold? I think if you will be holding 100 bitcoins and set it still for 20 years, I think that is worth it.
I dont think bitcoin will survive. No one can predict that. Actually we should not prefer to it as our primary source of income. What if bitcoin will die. What hapoened to you. You should prefer bitcoin as sideline only. Its just my opinion. Because i do joining in a signature campaign and that is not really sure sometimes because. Some of the campaign is failing.
331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will Bitcoin Die Because of China? on: September 19, 2017, 04:26:59 PM
Bitcoin will not die even china ban exchanges or IcO or what ever. Because bitcoin is for world wide .if china not use bitcoin anymore yes they have effect ban not big. Because many country also use bitcoin or crypto currency . Even bitcoin price decrease for sure it will recover again because many people buy again bitcoin if they see the price decrease because they want to earn money. Bitcoin will not di!.
Yes i agree. I think bitcoin will not die because there is still many investors worldwide. And as far as i know. There is so many buyers of tokens in some countries so bitcoin will not die. As the value is going down. The more investors will buy bitcoin .

333  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin will rise up or fall down? on: September 13, 2017, 11:02:10 PM
What do you think? China banned BTC? And btc price goes to 4,069$ today Smiley
You think to sell or it can rise up again, some rumors said that btc will fall down to 2000$
China didnt really banned BTC but instead they temporarily banned ICO's in China and the price drop was just caused by FUDs and also by some Chinese selling wanting out of bitcoin for a while. Even if that is the case, it can rise up again and dont believe the rumors that it will fall down to 2000$ because they are just spreading fake news. It is up to you if you will sell or not but during times like this, it is better to hodl.
Yes. Maybe because of that banning. Mamy investors in china cannot access bitcoin now. Also to those users in china. There is so many users in china but i think there is so much users to bitcoin will not fall down clearly.

335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people are asking you about Bitcoin now? on: September 12, 2017, 02:11:23 PM
Nobody is asking me, but I had a conversation about ransomware the other day and they seemed to had a general idea about Bitcoin and that it was used by hackers.
My family isn't following the price of Bitcoin, so they don't really care. It's the same with stocks. A company could go up by 200% in a week and we wouldn't know or care, because we haven't invested anything.
Actually my family asking me on how can i get money even if im just a student and i do not have enough job to earn. So i tried to explain to them but its difficult for them to understand but theyre haply because i can earn my own money easily by the use only of my gadgets and with the help also of internet connection.
336  Other / Off-topic / Re: What's your way of spreading Bitcoin knowledge? on: September 12, 2017, 12:20:35 PM
I also did it some time ago where I showed two of my classmates my bitcoin wallet then the amount inside it as well as its price in my local currency and as usual they get curious too and asked how is it considered as a money or how it can used to buy some stuffs and how can I convert it into cash . I explained to them how can bitcoin works and how it can be used as a medium of exchange or payment, why it has a value and lastly how am I earning it .
I will share a liitle bit information about bitcoin first then if i saw him that he had an curiosity and eagerness to know more and eagerness also to earn money. And thats a good thing to share many things about bitcoin. On how can you earn through this forum. I will share the things that i know. Just like joining in a signature campaign.
337  Economy / Economics / Re: If you have a lot of bitcoin, should you spend it or save it? on: September 12, 2017, 10:37:17 AM
If I have lot of bitcoin in my wallet then I won't hesitate in spending some of them when I am in need of money and most of them I will  save for the future and use of them in trade and investment to grow my bitcoins in long term so even if I spend them sometimes I always have an chance to recover them back by investing them in trading.
If i have a lot of bitcoin. Maybe i will cash it out and i will help to renovate our house. Because bitcoin value is unstable so i cant hold it. What if the value falls down. My earnings turns into rock. But if the bitcoin value is stable maybe i will save it for a long time.
338  Economy / Economics / Re: could bitcoin be replaced by another crypto currency? on: September 12, 2017, 03:58:33 AM
i do this question because i´ve read in this website issues with bitcoin, slow mining process, high fees, etc. and i´ve read too good reviews of some altcoins, ethereum (smart contracts), ripple (for transfers between banks), dash and nem. these altcoins called 2.0. could bitcoin become just in future virtual gold reserved to companies and rich people?

There is a possibility. However the probability of this ever happening is quite low.

In all of cryptocurrency's history, bitcoin has always been the number one crypto. Litecoin, Ethereum, Ripple have all come close but none have ever overtaken it. I believe that the reason this is the case even though you can see that Ethereum has more functionality, ripple is able to do interbank transactions and already have partners, and litecoin being cheaper in transaction fees and faster in blocks is that bitcoin has a reputation that no one else has.

All these altcoins are built on top of bitcoin's blockchain technology. Bitcoin was the first to implement it, it has a wider community etc. You barely can find one person that is involved in altcoins but not bitcoin. But you'll find lots that only believe in bitcoin, but not altcoins.
I think it would not be happen. Because bitcoin is known and the most trusted currency than other cryptocurrencies. And bitcoin was the currency that has a wider society. But for me. We cant predict that happenings if it will happen. So until it not be, keep on earning some bitcoin.
339  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What if, we advertise bitcoin on T.V.? on: September 11, 2017, 04:00:39 AM
I've just thought about this for a moment but, if we want bitcoin to get more popularity, attention or acceptance would it be nice to make some advertisement about it on T.V.? I don't if know if in other countries they advertise bitcoin but in my country, I haven't seen one. How do you think advertising bitcoin will affect the people? Any thoughts?

I guess the main problem is that bitcoin is open-source, community driven... Altough there are some bigger players on the market.
I think this would make it incredibly difficult to get a concensus on which add would be shown, as well as finding sponsors to foot the bill. TV ads aren't cheap Wink

But yes, IF there would ever be a concensus about showing a TV ad, and we would find somebody footing the bill, i think it would give BTC and incredible boost. In my country, most people still think bitcoin is only used by criminals, they always give me a strange look when i tell them i have some btc to.
Maybe bitcoin will more famous because of that. And many people having interest by using bitcoin. And also theyre eagerness to earn especially to those people who is unemployed.
340  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are bitcoins only for the educated and knowledgeable people only? on: September 11, 2017, 02:26:50 AM
For me, it isn't. We have different talent and knowledge on how we give and do stuff that we love. Bitcoins are for everyone and we have the chance to try or even have this to earn and save money for our future.

How about you guys? Is it only for the educated and knowledgeable people only?
That depends. If the educated and knowledgeable people you are referring to are those who took up high degrees in college, then I think it isn't. But if we talk about people who are knowledgeable in bitcoins, then it is. Bitcoins can be learned by your own. You won't earn from bitcoins if you have no knowledge about it.
It depends on the person. Do you think some educated persons used bitcoin as a sourvmce of income? Maybe. But they can earn more koney because theyre educated. So for me. It depends on the person. Because there is some people who is educated and also using bitcoin as a source of income. And for those who are not educated or not well educated. Maybe some person have their own skills. Some person can easily understand what bitcoin is.
