3201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Introducing bitcoin is not that easy on: January 31, 2017, 02:54:54 PM
Yesterday was a research forum of thesis school project and I actually did introduce in our system about using bitcoin as a payment processor aside from paypal, visa, bank transfer or whatsoever. I actually do assume it that no one actually cares so expected things did really happened.

However there is this one jurry stated that bitcoin is really prawn to money laundering and he ask if how would a certain business owner risk it and that made me realize that he is somehow right and that leads to other quedtion about the exchanger sites which follows KYc policies to prevent or atleast minimize the risk of money laundering however it violates also the main feature of bitcoin which is the anonymous transactions

Well, tbh its really hard, aside from people who are in the 90s who are maybe 30+ and above, even teenager who are young who have access to internet a lot might not accept it. Because its too unrealistic for them to believe that, something which is virtual do hold the currency value. I Did try to explain to my friends on bitcoin, the transaction, blockchain and so. But ya, base on many comments above, introducing bitcoin really ain't that easy. Perhaps you might introduce it to 10 people, but only 1 would buy that idea i suppose
3202  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you use a bot for trading? on: January 31, 2017, 02:49:13 PM
I thought it would be interesting to know if you guys use a bot to trade bitcoin or altcoins..

Whether or not you do, if you were to make one, what rules would it based on?

I don't use one myself.. but am looking to get one built, and would welcome any suggestions on features and rules that you think would work..

Thanks!

Have no knowledge on making bot, but if i am making one, the primary rules of course is the stop loss function.

Well, in forex or all other currency, you can use trading tools like the EMA, SMA calculations, but in altcoins, i don't think it apply well.

It may apply but it wouldn't work that well with crypto trading, so i guess first, stop loss is a good feature!

Is this confirmed? Cheesy

3204  Economy / Marketplace / Re: How to make 1 bitcoin in a month or 2? on: January 30, 2017, 02:41:22 PM
You should start trading if you want to double your money.

I do agree, if you wanted to multiply your $$, trading cryptocurrency is really a good way, but of course remember how volatile it is. If the coin can go up, it can go down too. In the history of altcoins, not only the scam coins are gone, sometimes even a legit coins get abandoned too because of how hard to handle the blockchain and the community. therefore, trade only with the amount you can afford to lose  Grin

3206  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: So many "Where to invest BTC threads" and so few real investment options. WHY? on: January 30, 2017, 02:25:41 PM
Hey guys,

I see every day more and more of these threads asking where to invest BTC emerges. This means people have liquid assets, lots of BTC laying around and nothing legit and real to invest. I m not talking about HYIP and similar scam BS where they promise 3% per day. I m talking about real investments assets, comparable to fiat money options bringing something manageable like 3% a year. There re very few of those.

Is it because crypto owners have become so spoiled and anything below 10% per month is not acceptable to them due to past pumps and dumps of different crypto assets? Is it because of legal issues obtaining BTC? Is it because investment companies do not need money or do not want to tap into this market?

The truth is PEOPLE HAVE GOT MONEY and do not know what to do with it. With fiat, we d have tons of different funds, advisers, firms and so on, LEGIT companies helping you out to invest and differentiate your risk for a fee. True, earning re much more modest compared to yield we ve had in crypto so far. But I always choose sustainability over easy money.

So, what s up? Is crypto community so weak and uninterested to make money?

Well personally if i have like tons of money, i would rather be like you, picking up stability over easy money.

But due to the funds i have now is less < $100,000, i will prefer to go and invest in ico and trade altcoins, in that way i can only reach my $100,000 fast. As if i get $100,000, i would put in bank or something, even with 6% per anum, 0.5% per month, i am good with it because

$100,000 * 0.5% = $500 / month, in my country is like 2K, which is almost a salary of a normal employee.

I don't plan to work full time and under some people because it is really suffer as i doesn't have any free time.

That's why i m learning all the thing like how to trade altcoins, check the genuine and legal of a project, as i have only $1000 now, i will need to x 100 to reach my target, therefore, going pump and dump and yolo crypto assets is my way to reach the goal Smiley
3207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🔴 ICOBID PLATFORM RELEASED 🌟🔴 GREAT REWARD 🌟🔴 HOLDING FOR REVENUE SHARE on: January 30, 2017, 02:16:22 PM
Looks like a whale start buying ICOB, now people who dump your coins will start cry.

Just a little bit time to ICOB reach 1k. Just wait until yobit add and we will see the boom

not sure if added to yobit helps much as not much people is buying right now, only the one who trusted this project will invest and if the development goes really well, the one who invested early will really profit on the max Smiley

3210  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can trading be considered as gambling?? on: January 30, 2017, 10:12:55 AM
Well on coins which is stable like bitcoin, eth, if you buy and sell we could consider that as trading as it already has a proper implementation, and its well known.

But if trade coins which is just comes from brand new ico like maybe some abccoin, duckcoin, meowcoin or any new coin.

It will consist almost 70-80% gambling + 20% trading.

As if it has no proper implementation, you are just gamble out when you can see nothing but a announcement page , no wallet, no product xd
3211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Online Gambling vs Real Gambling on: January 30, 2017, 10:07:47 AM
Hello Guys, I would like to know you're understanding about online gambling and real life gambling. Since here in the philippines online gambling is now illegal. I'm just curious what's the difference about this too. Why make online gambling illegal?

Well, the reason why it make online gambling illegal, of course 1st, country rules and laws. As we know, the digital world right now, even a 3 year old kid right now who hold an ipad understand how to search for the video they wanted to look for.

Imagine when someone feel tempted and wanted to try, they can just go for online. Of course even when people set only 18+, but if they allow it, people who wanted to earn $$ doesn't care and bypass all the rules.

Next, the second reason why making online gambling illegal is to protect the player itself. As through online, you can just bank in and start betting. Furthermore in this era, where bitcoins is so widely used. Look at Satoshidice, bitsler, directbet, and all the crypto bet sites, there's no age limit, no limit on deposits, nothing. You can just deposit and play.

Of course, online gambling has it owns advantage tho but the most important thing i suppose is that : Control yourself, this will never make you poor.

Need the Facebook ebook if you are able to provide for free, as you are new here i couldn't trust you much on that.

Because if the $ i spent is not worth what i paid, it would be bad for me

anyhow, wish you good luck!

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1kl5fD-ifui8_iSmp8_yv9mC_mq8qtWixZmOK2--hS6Q/edit#gid=0

is this correct? ico sale price coin is at 12c... but average case based on dividends coin is only 1c? optimistic case at 150m, only .24c? iconomi says they will get 300m, so coin should only be worth .48c?

can someone tell me why this coin will be worth more than 1$?  Huh Huh

Yea, even in optimistic case we are getting a $0.01 dividend, you are not getting dividends for once, it's a lifetime dividend. And you could recoup your investment in a year if you bought at $0.12, and remember, after 1 year the profit itself is all free by holding the assets just like real estates, you clear the debt, you are getting constant $$. And $0.01 is just start, when they get more funds, your dividends goes and grow Smiley
3214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where to Invest BTC? on: January 30, 2017, 09:36:05 AM
Personally i myself prefer to be invested in altcoins.

Investing in bitcoin could be safe as it doesn't plummet or rocket daily or due to some pump dump scheme.

But i need to multiply my assets within weeks, to a months. Holding bitcoin really take time for me, investing in gambling site's profit is inconsistent, investing on someone to trade and get % of their profit is danger and inconsistent.

So i trade coins myself, invested in ico myself.

Although i do fail and invested in scam ico, from there you will know when not to invest in scam coins and learn to read before invest Smiley
3215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Could bitcoin prevent crime? on: January 30, 2017, 09:22:49 AM
No, it increase the crime rate imo xd

Look at credit cards, banks fraud. Everything is registered with personal details, names, age, gender, address and so.

But look at bitcoin, look at all the cryptos, Look at zcash.

Zcash offers total payment confidentiality, while still maintaining a decentralized network using a public blockchain. Unlike Bitcoin, Zcash transactions automatically hide the sender, recipient, and value of all transactions on the blockchain

It hides the sender, recipient, value of transaction.

It doesn't prevent crime i suppose
3216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you remember the very first time you sent a Bitcoin transaction? on: January 30, 2017, 09:17:03 AM
Were you filled more with happiness, excitement or fear when you clicked that 'send' button? And in which year was it when that happened? Did it it turn out just fine, did your transaction arrive where intended?

I couldn't remember tho, as the first time i starts to use bitcoin is like 2 years ago i suppose. As compare to online banking where you xfer the $$, it is immediately xfer but bitcoin is a different level thing. Tbh, when the first time i sent i do feel unsafe because remember, there's no way for you to revert a transaction once you sent the money out, that's the fear whenever i sent btc to address of people.

3220  Economy / Economics / Re: Tell me your predictions about Bitcoin on: January 29, 2017, 12:18:32 AM
Almost all members of the Bitcoin community believe in a good future Bitcoins. I also believe that its price and the popularity will grow. But I am afraid that in some countries the government passes laws that harm Bitcoins. I am very concerned about the latest news from China. It seems to me that it's not good for Bitcoin

Not sure about other country but in china, there's too much of economic bubble which causes everything to goes overvalue. Stocks, Assests, Real estate. Same goes to virtual stuffs, on something which we can't even have a physical thing on it, but the value is just high enough, is the china's favorite. They love things like this. Therefore, i think even if china government set laws, rules on bitcoins, they will still uses it because everything is virtual, on internet
