3201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: USB Miners and asics on: January 03, 2015, 01:01:10 PM
If it's not a dual miner (which was a usb stick while back then) it can't be done.

It's not about firmware or etc; it's about the hardware directly. You can't make the asic mine scrypt algo if it's designed to mine sha algo.

But there was dual miners like that; http://hash-master.com/single-gridseed-dual-miner-no-accessories-scrypt-and-sha-miner-350-450kh-s/
he may have modified them.

edit: those are the usb stick ones; http://www.dualminer.com/DualMiner-USB-2_p_18.html

First buy a metal case,
Then, dig up a hole in your backyard in midnight and burry it Grin

Or you can dig up a hole in your basement, it would be more secure Grin

Or in the forest Cheesy

Maybe I hide it in a book or so Cheesy

When you say book I got a brilliant idea.
First you buy a very long and boring book. (les miserables for instance Grin)
Then buy some "highlighter pens" each different colors.

Then Create your own encryption method (ceaser's maybe, details: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Caesar_cipher)
Last step; start to highlight each encrypted characters of the private key Grin
you can highlight priv key 1's chars green, 2nd's blue etc.

Don't worry no one will check your really boring novels Grin

I bought my first 0.1 btc about 30 minutes ago and the seller just messaged me saying his bank is down at the moment so he cannot check my payment.

Just think it is a little shady, what do you think?

Probably yes you're.

Whom did you send your payment? Did you use escrow service or etc? Or you just trusted some of a guy?

dafuq? "    Fee for withdrawal is 0.002 BTC."
betasharex's bitcoin withdrawal fee is outrages...

I'm not using this shitexchange...

Until the Exchange is safe and reputable i think is not so "outrageous" as you said.

I use BetaShareX since the opening and never had a single problem. I will buy some XSP there, had some great business with new coins on BetaX , sold on Rex after some time and had good profits.
what's the normal tx fee? 0.0001 btc right?
how much do they want? 0.002 btc, what do they pay for the tx? only 0.0001 btc.
they're making 0.0019 btc for each outgoing btc transfer.

I would understand if they want 0.0005 btc as tx fee, but 0.002? it's so outrages...

Follow newly come out altcoins, then rent a rig for 12,24 hours etc.
Then Mine & dump it when it hits exchange. If you catch a good opportunity; you'll get twice of btc you've invested.

3215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ninja Launch | SquareBit | Pow | 7 days | 2 million coins on: December 31, 2014, 08:27:51 PM
just a few hours in till pow ends,

the current total supply is 1,061,375 SBIT at block 9739 with 341 blocks left, that leaves 21,312 sbits to be mined.
but looking at pos working at 53% more likely only 10,153 would be add it to the total supply.

diff at around 200 to 245 pretty high if you ask me for 10k left in coins.

probably it's because of late comers' hash power. they already rented or something and not following.

I'm gonna code a program that follows ocminer's posts to catch all the new set up pools Grin
Or he can create a live rss feed on suprnova pools first page so we can follow it immediately...

I saw this topic and still mining on suprnova Smiley (But I'm sad, we lost the major hashrate Sad and it's from an unknown location I guess...)

Just follow my twitter, you get them all there Smiley
What's your handle on twitter if you don't mind me asking?
Here: https://twitter.com/SuprnovaPools

I followed on twitter but it's gonna be lost all over my other followings Grin

I guess I'll also follow you with a special account that has no many followings Smiley
Damn twitter api doesn't support rss feed no more Sad

edit: I found a tool, Your tweets are on my Thunderbird now Smiley
