3201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 11, 2022, 02:54:28 PM
^^ It is very unnatural for the Warriors to lose again, another back to back lost for them after winning 9 straight. Still though they are in the second spot behind Phoenix but Grizzlies is catching them up, only 2.5 games separating them.

As for the Phoenix win, I'm not surprised, they've boasted to have one of the best road record and they put  a good defense on Giannis. Plus DA has one of his best games this season.
I'm not worried, that's alright, let them learn from their losses as they cannot make mistakes in the playoffs. Though they lose in that game and I lose money as well, I would never doubt them and I'll continue backing them every time they have a game, that's regardless of the betting odds.

The key for them is draymond in the middle.  Without him they roll with looney and he can't handle the center spot against proper bigs.  As good as steph is they get slaughtered in the paint without D.  Big mitch had his way in the middle for the Knicks last night creating havoc.  Knicks were in and out of the paint all night with no one to fear underneath.  Their playoffs will depend on him being healthy.
3202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What are your plans for the 2022 crypto market? on: February 10, 2022, 11:51:11 PM
With 2021 ending with a 150% increase in total crypto market capitalization, it can be said that we have seen tremendous growth. Congratulations to those investors who benefited from the crypto market in 2021.

What are your plans for 2022 to continue earning more for yourself? What do you think about the crypto market in 2022? Are we surpassing the uptrend and will the market soon enter the crypto winter? What will you do.

My talk & main points:
+ The crypto market continues to grow and peaks in 2022 with a total capital of 5.5T;
+ Then we will see the fall of the whole market and winter will come;
+ BTC price may then go back to MA 200W at 25-30K, but I think it will only come in 2023 and not in 2022

Just keep increntally putting money into high valued projects at a continual pace and you should end up alright.  I do think there is still a lot of bottoming put to do here but don't try to snipe the tops and bottoms too many people missed out trying to do that.  KEEP STACKING SATS!
3203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: the market to buy the safest NFT? on: February 10, 2022, 11:49:26 PM
I started getting to know crypto in 2016 and at that time there were not many crypto projects like now.
and what I'm asking now is about NFT where many players have just started playing there, there must be many platforms that sell and buy NFT, for example https://cnft.io/ which transacts with ADA tokens, what platform do you think friends who play nft the safest. Is it opensea or something else?

Opensea is a safe option by transaction.  But the amount of scam nfts and just money grabs there is insane.  Be careful what you buy not from the platform itself but actual nfts.  No way can the market support such high prices forever.  There will be a bottoming out soon.  Tread lightly and do your research first.
3204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 10, 2022, 11:43:54 PM
Gotta be 2 of the easiest games to bet tonight:

Grizzlies -11.5 and gs -9.5

Going hard on both.  At worst this can only be a split.  Knicks are my te but they are lifeless.  Only thing they have going for them is rj is out and the Knicks can only get more efficient without him in.  And then the Grizzlies.  They should rock and roll on that te in Detroit.  Shoudl be some massive blowouts.

Most likely not.  Probably just a card hawker.  People will buy anything that sells whether they are a corner or not.  So probably just another flipper.
3206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 08, 2022, 10:32:53 PM
Taking 2 games tonight.  I like the bulls at home giving 8 points.  Suns are good but I don't think the bulls are getting blown out.  Next gimme the Jazz-8.  My knicks are a dumpster fire right now and on the road at the Jazz is not the ge they are going to figure it all out.  Good luck tonight everyone!

Thanks to a last second rj Barrett missed ft it hit.  Game was close and then the Knicks got ran over.  And I counted the bulls out and they go and score 41 in the 4th and cover lol.  Knicks made it closer than I would have thought.  Either way I'm laying against them until they can prove they can compete.  Team is sad right now...
3207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What high gas fee have cost me on: February 07, 2022, 11:03:10 PM
I know that some rich people don't care what ETH gas fee was saying in 2021 when BTC was surging but for me it cut me off some wonderful opportunities, the most painful one was shiba inu could have been one of the early buyers probably a big winner know but couldn't buy because shiba inu started its journey on ETH chain. . . there are actually few others so I started looking for tokens running on BSC chain only..imagine.

Agreed the fees make even thinking about buying not even worth it.  It's not sustainable.  In a bull market fine, people are making a ton on their investment, but in bear markets no one would be willing to start off down 20, 30, 50%.
3208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 07, 2022, 09:43:51 PM
I think I would also be going on with the Warriors 12.5 pick they've got a decent streak going on, and I'll think they will continue with it tonight in a better fashion.

I would have like to ride on the Jazz pick, but I don't think I can really trust them yet, they are still missing a couple of players

They are but the Knicks are terrible right now.  Not saying it's a lock but Jazz at home single digit favorites over the Knicks seems like an easy pick for me right now.  They showed se fight in LA but gave up a 20 point lead and lost by almost 10.  Don't see the Knicks keeping this one close.

3210  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: NFT presales vs ICOs on: February 06, 2022, 05:12:24 PM
I've been deep-diving into many pre-sales and it's quite evident the amount of hype that this new market is generating, and there's still a lot of room for growth in my opinion.

I genuinely think that NFT pre-sales are comparable to ICOs back in 2017/2018, when very few projects required whitelisting and with no vesting schedule, so everybody jumped in in order to sell shortly after the live listing, causing many pump and dump movements, which led many projects to death.

What's your opinion about that?

Well if anyone has any sense about them you'd realize the 2017/18 icon ended in a barage of lost money.  99.99% ended up in scam territory.  And yeah I think it's the se thing, especially the part where most all of these "projects" will end up as shams.  Can't believe so many people fall for this crap.
3211  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is NFT real store of value on: February 06, 2022, 05:09:29 PM
I don't think that NFTs are real store of value because they have no liquidity and volume, how can one say that NFT is a real store of value when you can only sell if anyone is willing to buy,
Who said NFTs are a real store of value to begin with?
NFTs are just another phase of hyped shitcoins that will die out with time and when this happens, people will realize how silly they way to waste valuable ETH or BNB to buy this NFTs

Agreed.  The fact that pictures of apes that take 5 minutes to make sell for hundreds of thousands of dollars should be a top signal.  They are worthless and serve no purpose.  Stop it with the art claim.  All of this nft stuff is about getting someone else to pay more for it then you did.  Its a classic pyramid scheme.  And once the slide starts it will end of being like a bank run where no one will be able to cash out.  Gonna get ugly soon.

In honour of Jeff Bezos’s Dog ‘Luna’ Luna Inu is the latest and greatest meme token to hit the Binance Smart Chain. With one mission on its mind to take her fellow Lunauts with the help of Jeff Bezos beyond the moon and also to make the world a better place for its fellow dogs!

Great another useless token based on a dog.  Who would be stupid enough to even throw a single dime on this dumpster fire?  What's next bill gates cow coin, Zuckerberg rabbit coin.  Rediculous how all this is going, sad really.
3213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 06, 2022, 05:03:46 PM

Suddenly made me wonder what the Trail Blazers are trying to achieve in this trade.
Acquiring Eric Bledsoe, Justise Winslow, Keon Johnson and a 2025 second-round draft pick isn't too bad of a deal. If they couldn't maximize Powell's output for the team, why not try something new? That trade also made Blazers under the luxury tax threshold. The new players that will most likely be used for rotation might be a gamble but that was still a good business move.

I think it's mostly to clear the luxury tax threshold and probably get another player. For now we can't say who wins in this trade. But if Clippers can maximize Powell right away then we can say that it was a good trade for them. Portland is on the 10th, with a losing streak, so they are in the borderline to not make the playoffs and most likely going to look for the next season for another rebuild and hopefully convince Lillard to stay with them.

That's the scenario I'm seeing, they will probably rebuild and I think it will be best possible if they will let go of Lillard, try to experiment with a new player that could lead the team, Lillard is the most valuable asset of the team, for sure they can acquire someone that is as good or better than him in a trade, and probably that will solve the problem with chemistry or whatever it is.

I agree they need to can the whole thing and start over but they made it clear they want to still build around him.  Possible the Blazers are trying to clear cap to bring in a star player in the off-season who knows.  The way they are structured they need to nail the draft and get a superstar that way.
3214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 06, 2022, 05:00:21 PM
I couldn't watch those games, but... with the return of AD I believe the Lakers improved a lot.
Anthony Davis got 17 rebounds and Monk scored 29 points!
I believe that if the Lakers continue with this performance, I think they can go to the playoffs easily!
But first we will need to analyze whether they will maintain this consistency.

It was also due to the return of Lebron James, it's his first game after missing some games and he really showed his leadership in this game. Though they could not dominate the Knicks, what's important is they won during the crucial time in the OT and that's what they need to maintain and put do some consistency as they'll have more close games in the future for sure.

They beat a terrible knicks team at home.  Took a comeback and overtime to win.  The Knicks are 12th in the East right now.  The Lakers are going to get routed if they make the playoffs.  No way can they beat top teams throwing that garbage on the court.  Russ needs to be benched immediately.  He is single handedly losing games for the Lakers.  They were only favored by 4 at home to a terrible knicks team and barely covered thanks to OT.
3215  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Future of the NFTs on: February 05, 2022, 10:54:15 PM
As the year 2021 is coming to an end what is the future for the new rave of the moment NFTs which seems to have taken over the cryptocurrency market in 2021 as the new year 2022 is coming and a lot of projects coming up what do we expect to see in the coming year will NFTs continue to drive or a new wave is coming?

Tons of more scams and terrible "art" that is hype inflated.  And then at a certain point most people will lose their "money" as the bottom falls out.  The art that is out there in nft land is awful.  Few and far between with people who actually spend time.  It's a cash grab fad, that's it.
3216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Poverty is here on: February 05, 2022, 10:52:07 PM
Poverty is here around the world:
Solution is new currency as old currencies dont serve us anymore.
There is not enough dollars or other fiat currencies or not enough ways to get your hands on currency problem is those only have who born in some wealthy noble family they only have and their kids with inheritance instagram kind of kids who just knows how to spend money but thats it but there is many hardworking people who can do better with money other then just spend on useless things.
The dollars are printed alot but in your hands or my hands.
Only solution can be let them keep their useless euros or dollars and we will have new currency.

Real solution is new currency urgently but not btc as limited supply will create more wealth gaps.

Xlm stellar could be good one

Limited supply?  Supply is one of those most misconstrued thing in crypto.  It's divisible!  You don't need to have 1 whole bitcoin.  As prices go up fractions of a coin will assume wealth.  Iran if all you are looking at is supply someone can clone bitcoin or really any coin in less than a day that would have an insane amount of supply.  What does that do though.  What's the point lom.
3217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season on: February 05, 2022, 10:49:37 PM
1 week left until trade deadline.  Clippers just scooped up Norman Powell great move on their end.  Once kawhi and PG are back Norman will provide a good scoring punch.  And sadly I think the Knicks need to break up the team.  Get what they can for some of the vets.  Give the young guys some run and try to hit the draft and free agency hard over the next couple years.  Lost season...

Fantastic move.

Bledsoe has an expiring contract and is not a great fit for any team due to his inefficient play. Powell and Covington are great 3-point shooters, and are way better than any of the players the Clippers gave up.

I saw a lot of trade grades for this particular transaction and everyone has gave the Clips an A. Jerry West strikes again with his genius.

Yeah I'm a big fan of Norman Powell, excited to see what he can do in the playoffs.  Clips struck gold on this trade.  These are the types of trades the Knicks have to make.  Nothing crazy or splashy but moves that insta upgrade your team.

Wasn't there like 3 years left on Powell's contract as well? Crazy how well the Clips did.

I'm just not sure exactly what Portland is trying to do now though because it seems like they are really lost. They've traded away their best player outside of Lillard and McCollum as well as a centrepiece to their defense. What's next?

Are they just trying to save money from exceeding the cap? If so, I think this is a terrible move.

Seems as though this was a move to set up another.  They want to resign Simmons and they get a rookie contract in Keon joglhnson hoping he hits I guess.  Portland needs to do something like right now for Dame.  Dude has been wasted out in Portland his whole career.  Wish they would ship him to the Knicks 😅
3218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 05, 2022, 10:05:36 PM
The Lakers will also play tomorrow on their home against the NY Knicks, seems like they're the underdog this time but I'd rather let this game slide as they're really struggling now especially without LBJ.
Can't trust the Lakers without Lebron, they only won once ever since Lebron was out IIRC. I know the Knicks are struggling as well, but the Lakers looks like more troubled that them so if I will choose, I would go with the Knicks, they are better than the Lakers IMO.
I would rather not gonna touch this game, both are unpredictable and it could end either way. The thing with the Knicks is on their last 3 road games, they lose all 3, so most probably the result will be an "L" too. By the way, seems like there's a line movement of this game, from LA -2, now already at -4, wondering what's the reason behind.

I'm taking the under on this game.  This one has both teams under a hundo written all over it.  Both teams struggle to score and can't score in transition either.  Next I'm taking Bucks-10.5.  The Blazers just stripped some remaining usefull players off their squad they are gon a get crushed tonight.

And last...going hard on okc on the road.  +8 and Sacramento playing without fox.  Sac will probably win but I expect okc to fight this team

Seeing reports today that the Nets have started putting together a trade package for Ben Simmons. Given Harden is sick of the Kyrie situation already and the rules change is killing his career, he’s very motivated to get to Philadelphia where he has lots of close personal ties with ownership and local celebrities. I don’t know how motivated he will be to play basketball in Philadelphia, but he can’t play less than Ben Simmons. I like the trade for Philadelphia. I don’t think they’ll be able to do better than Harden for Simmons.

Well if he get's traded to a city wherein he has a lot of ties then for sure he can play like his days in Houston. But he has to understand that there is also Joel in the Sixers team and he can't be the Alpha in this team. Trae Young and Steph Curry has adjusted to the new rules and even Chris Paul, so I don't think that Harden can't adjust as well. It's that he is not motivated with the Nets right now, specially that they are in a losing streak with KD and the Kyrie situation.

Ofcourse! Who would be happy about that, KD is injured while Irving can only play road games and they lost 7 games in a row while other players aren't consistent. James Harden should make amends so that he could go to the 76ers as it could benefit him and the 76ers because if he continue to play for the Nets then I think he should also give up his dream to win the Finals for the 1st time, also he's aging.
Harden will fit just right, just like CP3.

Would be a terrible trade imo for the Nets.  After next year they can move on from Harden as he only has 1 year left on his contract after this year.  Anyone taking on Simmons is getting locked into what can end up being a terrible contract for 3 plus years.  Given his head space I'm not taking on someone and locking in one of my max spots for someone who just might not want to play ona. Given day/year.  No thanks.
