Manchester United 3 - 1 Burnley after the first half. Surprisingly very good. As soon as I decided to stop wasting my nerves on United, they started to please .
Although MUFC is winning at the moment and don't forget it is not against a very big team with performing players, i am still not convinced that they can do better than a 5th or a 4th on the EPL table. MUFC still have defensive challenges, because at the moment Maguire is not someone we can consider as a defender, he is in a terrible form. Watching him play, it is very unbelievable that it is same Maguire that joined MUFC from Leicester with a record breaking fee of £80million.

CMIIW, but I think the main idea of those licenses is to take sorta KYC of gambling site owners.
How solid are these KYC's really when there are situations where licences are sold to new owners. How can those who issue licenses follow up on the licenses they issue to ensure that the new owners are of good reputation as well. Operating with a license is an indication of credibility but not a 100% guarantee that a gambling site is credible, for all you know, their license may just have been bought over by new owners with dubious intentions.

Top 30 players to watch
  • Mohamed Salah - Liverpool - Egypt
  • Naby Keita -Liverpool-Guinea
  • Yves Bissouma - Brighton - Mali
  • Koulivaly - Napoli- Senegal
  • Kessie - Ac Milan - Ivory Coast
  • Sadio Mane - Liverpool- Senegal
  • Haller -Ajax- Senegal
  • Mahrez - Man City- Algeria
  • Wilfred Ndidi - Leicester- Nigeria
  • Mendy-Chelsea- Senegal
  • Read to 30

Apart from the fact that i am Nigerian, going through the list of players to look out for, i see more Nigerian names on the list than any other african country, so it means in general, the Nigerian team is one to watch out for.  I don't know how the appointment of a new coach for the Super eagles will affect the team, can't say...but i hope they get to the finals, else it will be a shame with so many name on the watch list and a not satisfactory performance in the AFCON.
3204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Opinion on increasing gambling. on: December 30, 2021, 01:04:26 PM
Based on rough analysis, it can be observed that gambling activity has increased when you compare the present and the past say a year before. Do we now have more gamblers because gambling is now possible online, made more easy and people can stay anonymous while gambling, or as a result of more persons getting to know about gambling? Has the harsh economic situation of some countries indirectly promoted gambling, turning more of its citizens to gamble in search of money?

What is your opinion on the increasing number of gamblers?

X is also a cross.. hmm.. and what shape was the thing that jesus was pinned to...... ooo yea a cross

so yea even a cross is actually 'on theme' for the season of celebration

I took time to go through all the replies, and this is especially striking. Since i read this reply, my perspective has really changed, whenever i now see the the "x" on the xmas, i see a slanted cross. This is a particular reason i love this forum, the exchange of perspectives. Wishing you all a wonderful new year ahead.
3206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: It is possible to make a profit by trading on: December 29, 2021, 01:14:50 PM
After facing huge losses, I have benefited again after a long time.

This is usually the cycle of things and how things happen, you win some and you loose some, and it is also applicable in trading as well. As you have already mentioned that you have been a while in trading, you must have had experiences and heard stories of other traders as well, and by now you should be aware that there is no perfect trading strategy that completely eliminates losses. However the aim is to constantly (because strategy changes with time) have a strategy that reduces the frequency and degree of losses you make to the bearest minimum. So OP, it is possible to make good profit from trading provided you keep your strategy updated and stay on trends. There is no one time perfect strategy in trading, so it is not just about getting a new strategy, but learning to develop, improve & update your trading strategy.

My prediction for the game is 1-1, a draw for both sides.
The game already going the way of my prediction, apart from the MUFC goalkeeper who has rescued and saved the team a couple of times in this game, the other player of MUFC all seem disconnected. I knew this game was going to be a pain in the ass for MUFC, who are the MUFC supporters going to blame now? who will make my prediction come to pass and score the equalising goal for the team?, I'm looking forward to the full time score of the game Grin

Newcastle are a weak team this season, so the Newcastle vs Man United match will not be a surprise. As you said the chances are Man United will
win easily

Newcastle may be experiencing a bad form of luck at the moment, but it will not be wise to just write them off in this game. Some teams take fixtures like this against big teams very importantly, as some have target bonuses from sponsors if they draw or win such fixtures, so Newcastle today will be playing their best today especially in front of the home crowd aiming to frustrate the efforts of MUFC... My prediction for the game is 1-1, a draw for both sides.
3209  Other / Politics & Society / In preparation for the New year (2022) on: December 27, 2021, 02:40:35 PM
Make bigger plans and start working  towards them, remember, "if you fail to plan, you have planned to fail", a common saying.

Set targets and milestones for achievement - With targets, you know exactly what you are aiming at and hoping to achieve...you can assess the challenges and prepare yourself for them.

Work Smarter and harder - Be intentional, you did good this year, you can do better next year. If you did better, the coming year can be your best with a little more work. This requires physical effort and is a must because dreams so not work unless you do.

Improve on your mentality - Mentality matters a lot, that is the way we think. A big majority of outcomes in our lives are influenced by our thinking. What you think of often, you attract. Improve on your thinking which is your mentality, improve your life.
3210  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: That honest attitude is better than the thousands of spam posts you spread on: December 27, 2021, 07:16:34 AM
Great to see that even today there are still people who are honest amongst the vast dishonesty, It is golden to see that even though he had experienced loss of his bitcoins before, he did not want another to pass through same hurt as he did. I am glad that he has been encouraged for his good character in the form of merits and trust, i have added a merit. I hope others can emulate this attitude of honesty, because with such, the world will definitely be a better place.
3211  Other / Politics & Society / Re: First FDA approved Covid-19 drug on: December 27, 2021, 06:49:44 AM
A new oral antiviral drug from Pfizer has now approved emergency authorization on Wednesday, 22/12/2021.

The roll out of the oral antiviral drug may be instrumental in combating the menace of Covid, many who have phobia's for needles can now do away with that excuse for not getting vaccinated. My question however is - will this oral antiviral drug be a one time thing, or a drug that will be taken whenever one experiences symptoms of COVID like other drugs?
3212  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Gratitude should be an attitude on: December 27, 2021, 05:34:08 AM
The attitude of gratitude should be one that is highly encouraged. There's a popular saying that -" Gratitude is an application for more" that is when you are grateful for what you have or have gotten, it attracts more good things to you. Ungrateful people seldom receive, but people who are always grateful are bound to receive more.
3213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 07:22:37 PM
Aston villa at some point  started playing for a draw. Lukaku's introduction into this second half has made Chelsea more promising in front of goal. He totally showed class the way he anticipated that ball that lead to the goal and also the run for the ball in that last four minutes of play that lead to the second penalty of the game. Lukaku should have taken that penalty, he deserved to get that goal. Lukaku is the man of the match without a doubt.
3214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 06:10:26 PM
Aston Villa are playing better for me in this game, they've really pressed hard in this first half against Chelsea, very unfortunate that Cash made a clumsy tackle that has cost them their lead. If not for penalty, equalising  for Chelsea would have been difficult. Chelsea have been horrible in performance today, penalties have been saving them a lot in recent times.
3215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 05:32:27 PM
The way Leicester were able to get back 3 goals in under 10 minutes must be something Manchester city never expected, if not that leceister seemed to have lost concentration in defence in the last minutes of the game, they would have been able to get at least a point from the game. Aston villa is about kick off against Chelsea, it's a must win for Chelsea to keep their plan to win the EPL this season Alive.
3216  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 05:00:25 PM
I know Manchester city have this season's league already, we should just give it to them. But my excitement today is for Arsenal, with the way things are going, there is a measure of certainty that we will be in the UCL next season. Another rock solid performance from the gunners! I hope we can keep it up.
3217  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How reasonable is the long-term investment in Altcoins? on: December 26, 2021, 03:38:41 PM
If you make long term investments in altcoins, be sure to be specific with the altcoin you choose to invest long term in, that is, pick a really good altcoin from your research and hold on to it. In some years time, very shortly actually, some altcoins now with little appreciated value will be very valuable then. So if you can handle the risk, then in my opinion, it is reasonable. While HODLing, it is important you set a target for yourself, like a duration for your investment to mature, so you don't HODL aimlessly.
3218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 03:25:45 PM
I knew it was going to take a miracle for Leicester not to concede a goal in the first few minutes of play from the line up. I wasn't expecting two goals so quickly, but wow! This Manchester City side are going to demolish this Leicester team today. Shortly after supporters of the Leicester side will be calling for the sack of Brendan Rodgers, the players are looking very unmotivated and not like the same team that won the league a while back.
3219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: December 26, 2021, 02:41:41 PM
My prediction for Manchester city 3-0 Leicester game.
looking at the line up, i personally feel Manchester City will get more goals against Leicester. Staying in first place is a must for the team and with utmost certainty, i know the Manchester City players understand the assignment at hand. Surprised seeing Foden and Grealish on the substitution bench though, maybe Pep has decided to rest them.
Manchester city is winning this game by 5-1.
3220  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: We have the right tools but many don't know how to use them on: December 26, 2021, 10:29:25 AM
This information is not available to all, and even so, many who know are quite lazy to do proper research before buying tokens. Some people who are easily influenced may just hear from their friends that are token may do well,  the assurance of "may" and not "will" which suggests a bit more certainty than "may" is okay for them to dive into projects to their biggest loss.

Also the way some scam projects are packaged, they look really enticing, shiny and organised so much that newbies may just be fooled into thinking that scammers do not have such time to package such.

Don't fall prey, learn to use the tools you have.
