hey, greetings from Buenos Aires, Argentina! let me tell you.. dunno who is buying BTC as that localbitcoin chart shows.. Maybe some investors, but definatly not the regular people. With our high inflation rates, people is concerned about reaching the end of the month.. buying food and paying bills. That if you are not fired and jobless, as our economy is shrinking. Most of our population is poor, and they dont care about BTC. I would love to see mass adoption here, but its not happening now. sounds like England tbh. or anywhere |

Longs v shorts is a pretty blunt metric.
You need to know the usd value of said positions and where they came in.
You also need to know the flash funding rates, which really drives the price on Bitfinex.
eg rn people earning a lot of usd by lending...

Agreed. I've heard very few worthwhile use-cases for "blockchain tech". When companies say "blockchain", they usually mean "broadcast everything to everyone and expect them to store it", which doesn't scale and isn't a new concept anyway. The real application of blockchains - decentralized timestamping - can be very useful, but it's not a holy grail. Starting to think these ETF rumors for the May 21st approval might be real. More and more its starting to feel like insiders are buying bc they really know something we dont. ETF please and pamp it please!  Do you think so? I dunno, the SEC seem to hate the idea of a bitcoin ETF, every single attempt so far has been basically told to fuck off. I don’t think so but I’d LOVE to be wrong on this. I think a bitcoin ETF would take us to a new ATH this year. yeah i highly doubt we get etf on 21st, but my suspicion of insiders buying on info we dont have makes me wonder that something is up....... worth having some madly high/low orders anyways |
