3201  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: August 20, 2021, 10:55:59 AM

Comparing marketing with other casino.

IMO, most of them have a similar way or plant for the marketing
- Promoted by sponsorship some streamer/YouTuber
- Make some event contest
- Good Rakeback/reward
- Giveaway

The rest factor will depend on the service like interface, games, betting activity like max/min bet/win, how fast transaction.
Yes most of the legit casinos follow the same marketing and promotional strategy to attract customers but the difference is at games or slots offered,VPN allowance and user interface and most importantly as said by you deposit and withdrawal limits,KYC implications and some others. So they are running a business in competitive market and want to perform best so they are doing the same.

You can't create an account here without them asking your Name, DOB, Address? Never seen a bitcoin site that does that
Roobet has KYC with 3 levels, for now they only ask players to do KYC level 1, name, phone number, address, no need to upload any documents, don't know for level 2 and 3, and their live support says the players only do the first level.
For now they do saw that Level 1 would be just enough but i do believe that it would really be just provisionary on possible changes in the future because when it comes to regulation connected and these platforms
not only this but also other casinos as well are really getting  squezzed up when it comes to regulation and laws. They wont really be having no choice but to implement it or else they would
really might be having a problem later on.

Side note, have anyone notice that overall wager on this site is way too slow on reaching 2B? It wasnt this slow before when hitting up 1B.
3202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: share your profitability skills or some reminder on: August 20, 2021, 10:06:54 AM
For the same altcoin, some people make huge profits while some make a loss. So can you share your profitability skills? Or some reminder to avoid losses?

You might able to share up but doesnt mean that everything that works for you would also work for others and thats just a myth. You can copy others but doesnt mean that you would 100% precisely able to
get the same results that they've been showing off but instead you would get opposite results most likely because there are lots of factors that could affect and thats mainly talking about sudden decisions or simply
attached with emotions on where decision making whether you do make a sell or would able to decide to get in or making position is someones own call on where they would be executing it.
So its pointless on giving out some profitability skills.Just stick on what suits you out.
3203  Other / Off-topic / Re: Slapping Tournament on: August 19, 2021, 11:52:35 PM
~
Right on, these people are worrying over something that they see everytime they watch a bloodsport like boxing or muay thai, if you hate the game, just say it and don't say that it's going to cause damage to players, they consented to this and they know what they're in. We are in an era where workers and artists and almost everyone has some temporary rights.
That's because these people can't say it directly that they hate the game, they make reason so they sound intellectual when in reality they're hypocrite for hating slapping matches when at the same time they're enjoying boxing and other contact sports that tends to get much bloodier than slapping.
I agree with what you said, because in my opinion the tournament is still within normal limits, so it can be said that the game will not be too dangerous for the participants, after all, every tournament will certainly have special rules that will not endanger the lives of those involved participating in the tournament, compared to the boxing, mma and ufc obviously the game is still safer in my opinion.
Died because of slapping? or being slapped?

https://www.11alive.com/article/news/crime/police-man-allegedly-dies-after-being-slapped-in-the-face/85-497260383
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rraPLRBxcNc
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujJU45dxaxg

Differ in some factors but there would always be that risk.
3204  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin a safe haven? on: August 19, 2021, 11:05:13 PM
For holders and investors yes.

But for the banks, they don't see it as a safe haven due to the volatility. They may adopt it soon but there's no other reason for that but because of its usability, demand and popularity.
That volatility feature of Bitcoin makes this not a safe haven. It was not just the bank but that is the reality about crypto. Maybe if we are talking if it is safe to hold and keep it long? it still depends on how you secured the keys or password.

Many had believed that Bitcoin will even grow more in the future but I can't say that they are 100% right because the fact that we never know about it, everything was just pure speculation. Buying, investing in Bitcoin is risky, it can't safe at all but since we trusted this thing that is why we come up with this decision.
Main thing that people should be thinking off and reminding themselves that safe haven is something doesnt really fit out on any investment because when we do talk about being safe then thats
already considering some risk free situation and even how great Bitcoin is then that risk would be always tied up into its tail thats why invest only on the amount that you could afford to lose
and dont make some all in kind of decisions even though the support is mainly directly to bitcoin but that wouldnt give out any assurance that you could really make money.
3205  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: August 19, 2021, 09:22:17 PM
Things are getting better and better on Casimero.

Casimero on doping as he pushes for title fight

Quote
LAS VEGAS – Now it’s Naoya Inoue who’s stalking Johnriel Casimero.

The undefeated world bantamweight champion raised the issues surrounding doping and weight management should a fight with the outspoken Filipino is finally made.

Inoue, 28, again took to social media in following up on his earlier demand to arrange a fight with Casimero, hopefully before the end of the year.

“Once the match with Casimero is decided, I would like to beat it under the rule of boxing,” said the reigning WBA and IBF bantamweight champion.

The tide has changed, Inoue is now more aggressive in making this fight happen.

We might see a great fight this year, and hopefully, there's no hindrance to it.
Great! I read somewhere that bob arum said that it will depend on Inoue's camp if they'll going to take the fight against Donaire, but seems that Inoue is more interested in fighting Casimero.

That social media thing that Casimero did really gather the full attention of Inoue's camp, for sure even the international medias already notice this news regarding to Inoue's showing his interest to fight the Pinoy champ!

Now we are just waiting for the final talk and the date once everything got settled between these two camps.

Good decision by Inoue because if he will not accept the challenge of Casimero, it will hunt him forever and people will not stop talking that Inoue is afraid of Casimero and that is not good for his status as a champ. I'm excited, let's now wait for the final announcement but this is the first time Inoue is very vocal about the fight, so most probably we will see this soon.
He might got pissed when Casimero had that middle finger about talking next opponent plans of his which it did really turn out that Inoue was in the last and forming a middle finger.
That might surely had touched up his pride as a boxer and did really make out those words in the public which do really shows up some interest already for fighting Casimero.
I was already bit excited on this arrangement because this had long been anticipated which had been postponed but now it seems that it would surely happen.
3206  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mobile phone vs. laptop vs. tab...what's your preferred device for day trading? on: August 19, 2021, 05:07:54 PM
Note: Question is SPECIFICALLY to experienced day traders who have been day trading for several years and spend AT LEAST four hours a day trading.
Atleast this kind of multi screen setup will be there when someone successfully day trading for years

~

And when someone is day trading they have to look into the analysis all the time so small screen will be a bit annoying thing for them.
You would once realize these when you are already aware on how this market works and you would surely be finding out on what are the things needed for you to get comfortable towards your trading career.
When you don't know on what you are doing then having those multiple screens would really be irrelevant. If you are not a daytrader then those kind of set-up wouldnt really be that much needed
but when you are really making out some trades on active basis then you would really be needing this if you do know on how to maximize or making yourself efficient.
It would really be according to needs since we are totally different to each other.
3207  Economy / Gambling / Re: Rollbit.com | Crypto's Most Rewarding Casino 👑 on: August 19, 2021, 03:52:30 PM
What kind of luck these people has? i have not even won a x500 chance since i start playing crypto casino but people Like this has this ? maybe He is a cousin of Luck lol.
It was just his lucky day and we have some Gamblers who are lucky most often but don't feel depressed with such wins and enjoy your small profits also and if you have luck on your side one day you can surely win more than expected similar to such wins.So keep Playing and go on with your small bets with hope.
Just play according into your needs for leisure and entertainment than rather be get stressed on chasing off high multiplier. There are indeed people on this world which are born being lucky and the rest is just really be having  some hard time on hitting good multipliers on the time  we do gamble. To be honest, i havent really able to get even x100 on slots which others could even hit x10000 or more or something like that which is  really that impressive and ive been trying to play the games  that they've been playing specially on slots on the same provider but the outcome is totally different for me.
3208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: When sell holding alt coin in profit? on: August 18, 2021, 11:25:23 PM
When should long-held alt coins be sold? When to sell even when we are in profit? That doesn't make sense. Let me know if there is a suitable alternative to this issue.

Each trade must have a value of the capital you have invested in buying altcoins, and you must have a target profit and target timeframe that you want. if you have reached the profit target then you must immediately sell it even though the target time you set has not been reached. but here we are all looking for profit and not determine the time.
Trading is not as easy as imagined. the theory is to buy cheap and sell high, but to determine the right timing is not that easy. we have to do an analysis, we have to train mentally and emotionally so that we are not easily influenced by fomo, fud, etc.
at least we must have self-control, understand well that crypto is very volatile, whatever profit we can be grateful for. I hate it the most when there are people who regret selling their assets at a price of xx$ then the next day it rises to xxx$, come on... regret is useless. it's better to be grateful for it so that our mental and psychology remain good.
"Buy low,Sell High" this had been always the common set up or the simpliest idea about trading.Simple as it sounds but its hard when you are already on the actual situation. This isnt just involving
simple buying and selling because with this very unpredictable market it is really hard to tell on when to buy and on when to sell for profits and with some mixed of greediness then there are
really times which we do hold for more longer believing that the coin might shoot up or pump even more but in most cases we do really get caught in the dump and would end up on lesser
profits which is really a regretful thing afterwards.
3209  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Taxes on gambling send the right message? on: August 18, 2021, 10:45:07 PM
My opinion is that allowing the gambling industry to operate, even with higher taxes is much more preferable than imposing a blanket ban on all gambling activity. Take the case of countries such as India, Indonesia and Bangladesh. There is a blanket ban on gambling, but there is no dearth of illegal gambling dens. This results in ordinary people losing their hard earned money, as many of these illegal casinos are not regulated and indulges in fraud. Also, a part of the proceedings are used to bribe the cops and politicians.

It's useless if the government will ban gambling but they will not strictly implement the law, there's a big reason why they ban gambling and that is because they believe it makes people poor and will increase the poverty rate in a country, while some countries ban gambling due to religious belief.

Strict implementation is necessary so corrupt officials will also be punished.

I read somewhere that some casinos in Las Vegas charge over 10% house edge in most of their games and most likely they pay the taxes from those rather than the customer losing them but I'm not sure about it, Can someone explain what criteria the government will use while taxing the casinos.
Will casinos are paying the taxes only from the winnings from their customers but not on their casino's losing bets
Or every bet made in the casino will be taxed.
For sure it would be  in over all revenue and wouldnt matter if its a losing or winning bet because it is just  too nonsense or would  really be a big work to be done if they would one it individually.
Just like on how traditional business would be taxed out where it would always matter in overall revenue.I havent seen that gamblers been taxed individually but rather the house itself
will really be setting some House edge change or something like that and we know that gambling business is really a profitable one and really sustainable.
Taxation is normal though.
3210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons for newbies loss in bitcoin on: August 18, 2021, 09:46:12 PM
it is very unfortunate what experienced by beginners when they lost bitcoin maybe this is very concerning with what experienced by beginners which makes us sad why they easily believe in things like that, for example, someone can double bitcoin or they are able to buy at a high price. high so that they easily believe in it, maybe this is just what beginners should watch out for so that they don't lose their bitcoins in the future
Newbies do mostly think off about making quick bucks or easy money or making themselves rich overnight and this is why on the time that they do faced up the reality then
this is the time they would really get frustrated and some do really turned their backs and some do really love to learn more about crypto and which turns out to be a supporter
or enthusiast and this is where the community becomes even more bigger.Losses are inevitable because market is unpredictable but if you do know on how to play with the
market or simply able to ride with the waves then you would really be finding this place to be a good one.
3211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cryptocurrencies price and their effect on gambling industry on: August 18, 2021, 08:47:18 PM
We all know that there are games like Dice, Bustabit and other very popular in crypto casinos. The minimum amount that people can bet is usually 0.00000001 BTC.
The value of 0.00000001 is more than 70x high compared to 2016 year. So, the current 0.00000001 is equal of 2016's 0.00000070 satoshi. How does this price increase affect the crypto business? Do you see less profit in bitcoins and or in USD? Or even very significantly higher? Its understandable that years of marketing had it's effect on business but if we somehow make equal statistics, compare the fixed amount of average bettors of 2016 and 2021 year, how do the statistics look? Or how are old but still active bettors doing on your casino right now?

How much of your reserves are kept in Bitcoin and in USD/Euro? Do casinos trade with their coins when a serious rise or crash happens?

Would like to hear opinions mostly from the representatives of different crypto casinos that also operate on this forum.
We must understand that most of the costs that casinos must pay come in the form of fiat so they do not really have any option to keep holding their coins for long and they have to sell them probably as soon as they get them, it would have required a visionary that believed in cryptocurrencies and specifically in bitcoin above all to keep most of their profits in bitcoin and keep holding their coins, and for the few casinos that did something like that and have been around for a long time then the profits that they have obtained by just holding their coins are massive, and many times bigger than any profits that they could have gotten from the casino itself.
Depends on the owner but you do actually have the point because it would really be needing for it to be converted considering that there are lots which you do consider on paying up from maintenance upto staff salaries and other expenses which would really be needing for the owner on paying it up. Maybe they do allocate some percentage overall conversion on their net worth  and the rest would be served as a bankroll or hotwallet.
No matter what decision they would make then it wouldnt matter because its their business then its just right that they would really be making their own decision in regards to finances or all other aspects.
3212  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mobile phone vs. laptop vs. tab...what's your preferred device for day trading? on: August 18, 2021, 07:47:28 PM
Note: Question is SPECIFICALLY to experienced day traders who have been day trading for several years and spend AT LEAST four hours a day trading.

If you're day trading full time and you have all the time in the world for it...and you can only choose one of those devices, which would you choose...and most importantly, why that one instead of the others?
Hands down on using up personal computer/laptop when it comes to this.. No one beats up when it comes to comfort on using up big screens  rather than small ones specially when you do make out active trades
plus showing off a chart on a big screen is much better and accessibility and action executions is more easier than on doing in a tab or mobile phone. The only thing here is that you are just stationary but if you are
a type of person who do always commute or in transit then you would surely opt for mobile or tab or you can make use of laptop. Its jut a matter of preference though.
3213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What lie did you tell? on: August 17, 2021, 11:51:01 PM
This is not good, and this could lead to a more serious gambling problem.
Better not to lie to your parents and tell the real story, they’ll be mad yes but after that they will give you a good lesson and maybe guide you on the right way, gambling is not good at all.

If you have no extra money better not to gamble at all because you are being greedy and that is not healthy if you continue doing that kind of activities, its fine to lie sometimes but with regards to this one, its not ok because that money was meant for your basic needs.
Once or twice of lying is considerable but if you do already make it as a habit just for you to play gambling then thats surely a problem which would mold up in the future.
It is true that you should be that open for your parents to know on what you are doing and they wont really be angry if you are just honest or if they do then thats part of disciplining their children
because wrong doings shouldnt really be tolerated and we know that they have much more experience than us which its understandable that you should obey
on what are their commands and always be obedient.
3214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can I recommend a friend to buy Bitcoin now? on: August 17, 2021, 10:45:53 PM
I would not advise my friends to do anything with cryptocurrency at all, it has serious consequences, because the market is so volatile that you can make a mistake with the forecast and lose a good friend because of such a recommendation.
Market is indeed volatile but come to think that this isnt something that talks about losses but also with gains too because volatility could really give out that kind of opportunity but of course there would also be the risk.
If you do just simply tell your friend about the opportunity and the risk at the same time then he would really be that aware that he could possibly lost up money too but doesnt mean that it would risk up your friendship between you two.Just dont forget to tell him about the risk because this had been a default thing when you do step your foot into this market.Investment does always come with risk even though we arent talking
about cryptocurrency market.
3215  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Man lost £20,000 in one night after becoming addicted to online gambling! on: August 17, 2021, 09:44:13 PM
This is not the first time I saw similar mistakes on online gambling, you are one click away to put all your life savings on the gambling website. Some guys also took money from a family bank account and risk the whole money to chase the losses on the previous dead session, the end is obvious. Gambling shouldn't be a place we chase money instead of looking for fun, the brutal days happen due to the lack of deposit limits. The site shouldn't let the gambler deposit the bigger amounts compared to the previous deposit history and bank accounts shouldn't be able to send money over 10k to the gambling accounts. This is more complex on crypto casinos, unfortunately. What you can win is capped to 5000x but you can loss unlimited money which limited to your savings..

And what about the people who go into debt chasing their loses. It is no longer just savings or family money. Nowadays it is very easy to get loans, you can even get an instant loan with your cell phone. In that case, you could be paying for years for one night's mistake of gambling too much.

this happens!
its much easier to build something than to destroy it
sometimes you can destroy years of building with 1 simple action.

we always have to be alert

if someone has the tendency to go too deep on something and have a hard time with emotional control they're probably better avoiding gambling.
You can actually able to observed yourself when you are already doing something which is already out of your budget specially in finances when you do play gambling.
We do have our own common sense and awareness on whats happening to us but those addicted gamblers are surely aware on whats happening but they do just ignore out and proceed without any caution
or thinking off about possible addiction and when problem rose up then thats the time they do have some regrets that they shouldnt have gambled in the first place if they knew that they would
be experiencing those unfortunate events.
3216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does Bitcoin increase wealth equality? on: August 17, 2021, 08:53:47 PM
Due to Bitcoin's supply issuance schedule, it's fair to say that those who buy bitcoin early achieve (exponentially) outsized gains.

Based on what we've seen so far, adoption looks something like: cryptographers -> early adopters -> suits/elite -> the masses

Given that the exponential nature of adoption and returns, doesn't Bitcoin further increase wealth equality? So that the elite are even richer than the everyone else?

To be a bit more specific, what I'm envisaging is the new world to include three groups of people, the elite (aka "the 1%" of the old world), the early adopters (aka "the 1%" of the new world) and the masses (the remaining 98% of people).

Before bitcoin maybe top 2% of people owned 80% of the wealth. But after bitcoin, perhaps top 2% would own 95% of the wealth (approx only to illustrate point).

Thoughts?
Bitcoin wasnt created for that sole purpose because this is mainly focusing on decentralized payments without 3rd party involved which is totally not mentioning about equality or even just with common sense
you could really able to tell that this is something impossible to happen on this world as there would be people whom do love to accumulate more as much as they can.To think about wallets that do own
more than 1 bitcoin and the rest is just some fraction or proportional. There would be people who do love to be on the peak spots when it comes to their possession which is the sad fact.
Why would thinking off about equality? It wouldnt happen.
3217  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which are the best cryptocurrencies for esports betting? on: August 17, 2021, 07:59:45 PM
Bitcoin had always been what I prefer as a cryptocurrency for online gambling because I was used to it. It's also easier for me converting to fiat in my mind before placing a bet with just basic math.
I haven't tried betting for Esports but I do bet for real sports. Played CS:GO before but I am not updated anymore about Series Winners or other tournaments top teams so it would be a bad decision placing a bet with just a mere guess.

People would be always looking for that since this is the main coin which had been used in the past mainly but having several altcoins is also preferable too.The more the better because there are times on which bitcoins fee
is way too high which it is just normal that we do seek of for alternative coin which does have way more lesser fees which this is the time on where altcoins would really be on the used but generally people on this community
will really be preferring bitcoin and other coins is just an option most of the time.
3218  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH high gas fee on: August 16, 2021, 11:39:24 PM
even now ethereum gas is still high to make an ERC20 token transaction it takes 12$-30$
this is the problem for ETH blockchains that has not been resolved until now is the high fee even some projects are pending distribution because the fee is too high
We thought that the London hard fork will decrease the fees. But with the looks that we have in the market, there's still not that much effect from that fork.
We have no idea until when we're going to see the fee gets lower.
this is a series of long processes that ethereum does to get to ethereum 2.0
Later there will be several proposals made to regulate gas minimum transactions, hopefully they can be used to reduce gas fees which are too high. It seems that we also have to be patient, at least the gas fee has recently begun to be controlled.
the ethereum network is really strong, the ecosystem is wide, even the high fee gas some time ago was not enough to really bring it down. yes, ethereum still exists, hopefully further developments can really be used to control gas fees.
It is gradually going down compared on few days where gas were too high.Honestly im not   really surprised that the recent London fork update didnt  really make such impact or able to resolved high gas  fee issue
but we know that effects cant be shown  in instant.Let alone for several months to pass  and also you could actually check out if  you  are really that eager to make transactions.
Gasnow.org is the site ive been  visiting whenever i do have some transaction but if the price is still high then i dont have any choice but to pay up.
3219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Anything like excess gambling on: August 16, 2021, 11:08:58 PM
We have seen many cases where people become gambling addict and why so? Because they put themselves in conditions where they went mile extra in gambling and place bets in excess or say your budget was of $100 monthly but suddenly you can't resist yourself and put $200 or more it will be called excess gambling if you can't afford it.So it's better not to indulge in any such excessive gambling and becoming addicted to it as consequences are really bad which you can learn from stories of gambling addicts.
Simply they do go overboard into gambling on where they are already spending on the amounts that is way more than that  they could afford to lose.If you do go past to your limit and
ending up on taking some loans and having big debts then this is where problem do starts to become big.Anything which is excessive is really bad and this is why its  important that
you should know on how to control up yourself and able to stop mid way and if you do tolerate on what you are doing then expect the consequences  that would happen.
3220  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Always pump after sold holdings. on: August 16, 2021, 10:47:33 PM
Whenever i do see profits then i do immediately sold and wont look back on how high it did able to reach because this scenario could really distract you on your other endeavor towards your investment.
Dont get easily distracted and focus  into other coins that you do have.Just accept and move on and find for another on.There are even situations on where i did wait up longer because i do presume that
it might shoot up its price but the other or opposite  thing happened  instead or rising it dumped which it is really giving you that frustration.
