The Obama administration announced Friday that 80,000 corrected tax forms for people on plans through ObamaCare have still not gone out. It's unclear how many people will be affected by the delay, but the administration said people who have not received the corrected forms do not have to wait to file their taxes and will not have to pay any additional tax due to the effort. The issues stem from the announcement last month that 800,000 people on insurance plans through ObamaCare received incorrect tax information. At the time, the administration said forms with corrected information would be sent out in the first week of March. Republicans pounced on the news, arguing it showed the burdens the Affordable Care Act is placing on families during tax season. They also said it showed the administration was having trouble administering its own law. More... http://thehill.com/policy/healthcare/236443-many-on-obamacare-may-need-to-refile-their-tax-forms

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Islamic State has posted online what it says are the names, U.S. addresses and photos of 100 American military service members, and called upon its "brothers residing in America" to kill them. The Pentagon said after the information was posted on the Internet that it was investigating the matter. "I can't confirm the validity of the information, but we are looking into it," a U.S. defense official, speaking on condition of anonymity, said on Saturday. "We always encourage our personnel to exercise appropriate OPSEC (operations security) and force protection procedures," the official added. While most of the media attention has gone to the Hillary Clinton e-mail scandal, Rand Paul seized upon what may be the bigger problem for the Clintons — their family foundation and its foreign backers. Paul attacked Hillary for accepting big cash influxes from regimes that oppress women far more than her protestations over pay equity in the US (a subject on which her hypocrisy is nearly infinite). Those connections between the Clinton Foundation and countries such as Brunei and Saudi Arabia are “unconscionable,” Paul declared, and recommended that the foundation give the cash back, the Hill’s Jesse Byrnes reports from an interview in the Courier-Journal: video of Rand... http://hotair.com/archives/2015/03/21/rand-paul-clinton-foundation-took-unconscionable-donations-during-hillarys-time-as-secstate/

I wouldn't put much stock in this report considering that if it was serious, the US would knock his block off. And, he knows better than that. It's like rival gangs saying this and that like it's going to lead to anything but revenge or the shut your mouth factor.

This is the perfect picture of president zero: yucking it up w/ the funny guys on the free cable tv shows that the boobs always watch. The same crop of people'/low info voters that are by and large leading this country down the toobs.

This is fantastic, I'm all eyes and ears when it comes to improving the remittance market of bitcoin especially in Mexico by such a top notch and wealthy man who has every vested interest in seeing it working out and improving. God speed to this outfit and its mission as it will help to explode the usage and price of bitcoin and create a model that others in such a position across the world can follow and emulate.

I'm really proud of South Korea and all the great bitcoin mojo that is and has been building there. That would be on the top of my list of places outside of the US to visit given the chance or perhaps to call a home - although the language barrier would be tedious. I really hope that this wonderful country leads the way in wider adoption since the population as a whole seems to be more innovative and smarter than most others that I've looked at. Good stuff, keep it going yall!

Well, for those that wanted to own some shares of an upcoming exchange that is focusing on serving the European community, here's your chance. Of course, you're looking at over `1k Euros to get in on it which gives you .0119% of a stake in the company - which to me doesn't sound all that great initially but I could be wrong thinking longer term as the market expands.

The reason litecoin went up with bitcoin last time wasn't from fundamentals but from the newly interested people getting into crypto since bull market was steaming along. These people wanted to own a substantial amount of something and at that point along the market uptick, they came in and were only able to afford a few bitcoin and then they promptly saw they could get many more of the second tier candidate, litecoin. These people knew nothing about litecoin having the faster transaction speed nor didn't care either. It was all about hopping on the train that had already left and why ltc/btc rate goes up during these rare events because there's lots of newer people getting in and wanting to have more of one thing than they can attain by holding the other. Just think about the psychology of the the mainstream or those newest to a market and outside one's niche thoughts and understandings of the intricacies of crypto. These newer people aren't initially buying this stuff to spend it, just to make more fiat value to cash out depending where their entrance point was along the track. And yes, I hold of decent amount of litecoin for precisely this reason and play the ups and downs accordingly.

Low inflation, bond yields and interest rates around the world will push the boundaries of economic and political stability to breaking point if they continue on their downward trajectory, the Bank for International Settlements has warned. The Swiss-based "bank of central banks" said the "sinking trend" of global rates would push countries further into uncharted territory. It highlighted that $2.4 trillion (£1.6 trillion) of long-term global sovereign debt was now trading at negative yields, with an increasing number of investors willing to pay governments for the privilege of lending to them. ... http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/economics/11479425/Low-rates-will-trigger-civil-unrest-as-central-banks-lose-control-BIS.html

Rand Paul: 'We Should Be Boycotting Saudi Arabia'HAMPSTEAD, N.H.—In short remarks at the BeanTowne cafe on Saturday, surrounded by Republican voters and legislators, Kentucky Senator Rand Paul hyper-charged his attack on the Clinton Foundation's tens of millions of dollars in donations from foreign countries. "Anybody here think it's a good idea for Hillary Clinton to be accepting money from Saudi Arabia?" Paul asked. "Anybody here think that she ought to send it back to Saudi Arabia?" Cheers and cries of "hear, hear" rose out of the crowd as Paul argued that donations from "a regime that punishes women who are raped" effectively terminated Clinton's credibility as an advocate for women. "This is something we should be organizing a boycott of," said Paul. "Do you remember how when South Africa was misbehaving, we organized a boycott of South Africa? We should be boycotting Saudi Arabia, not taking money from Saudi Arabia's government." More... http://www.bloomberg.com/politics/articles/2015-03-21/rand-paul-we-should-be-boycotting-saudi-arabia-

I swear this woman has nothing better to do than meddle in other peoples' lives and she probably has some superiority complex thinking she is the savior of the young folks' diets across the country. She's basically pushing off diets that a bird would survive on and then pretend that these kids need to exercise an hour a day but don't have the calories to burn anymore under her system. All the while, the food being prepared for these regular white house dinners are very rich in content that have thousands of calories for just the main course alone. Do as I say, not as I do.

I would say that in many cases the local police are a product of what they have to deal with on a regular basis and the types of people as well. If most of your encounters are just traffic citations and your steady diet of small time misdemeanors, the stress levels of the officers is much lower than say Chicago where you're dealing the majority of the time w/ gangsters and everything that stems from those people. Hence, cops in these areas are more prone to be on edge and less respectful of individual rights as they're always looking for an edge in tackling their day to day routine of misery. The war on drugs creates a lucrative market for those that have nothing to lose and are proficient at using and willing to use deadly force. It breaks down neighborhoods and young kids grow up too fast on the streets.

Good grief, the picture postings have went really bland and that's exactly what this market is looking like right now. Ho hum, somebody make a move.

For small-town America, new immigrants pose linguistic, cultural challengesOn a warm July evening in 2012, while Marshalltown, Iowa, celebrated Independence Day, three refugee children from Myanmar (Burma) drowned in the Iowa River. The drownings at Riverview Park cast a grim light on the challenges facing both the city and its newest immigrants, most of whom spoke little English and had scant understanding of life in their new home – including the perils, known to more established residents, of the river’s treacherous currents. “We preach to kids all the time: You don’t swim in the river. You don’t play around the river,” says Kay Beach, president of the Marshalltown school board. “But they didn’t know that.” http://www.csmonitor.com/USA/Society/2015/0314/For-small-town-America-new-immigrants-pose-linguistic-cultural-challenges

Glad I came across this as I have coinage on BTC-e right now and didn't know what was going on there and it would've been quite a shock/worry had I tried to withdraw recently. Thx for this update.

Why not just buy $1,000 worth of gold, then do $1,000 worth of bitcoin, and which one grows faster lol.
But since you split 50/50 you can see which one scales in profit? so you wont lose entire $1,000 if bitcoin ever did crash cause you got gold to back you up.
I only say this because NO ONE can read the future.
It'd be very hard to buy exactly $1000 of gold as the increments it comes in are usually oz, half, quarter, tenth and gram so you'd have to mix and match to get in to your target amount in dollars. Plus, dealers usually hit you with heavy premiums, like $50 per oz. I'd prefer all in bitcoin unless you want something shiny to look at.

He's probably thinking that he should stay with what he knows best and when you've got that type of money you don't need anything that's particularly volatile. Furthermore, he has no need to learn anything new at that point in his life as he's probably got 5 or so years left until he passes on so there's no real point. I'm sure a lot of the middle aged and younger folks in his sphere are taking note and keeping an eye on Bitcoin.
