I was disappointed with the episode.
I was hoping that they would go further with explaining Bitcoin to the laymen masses.
Didn't talk about using the blockchain/ledger system for non-currency use.
Didn't talk about halving processes or deflation.
Didn't talk about cryptographic security.
The average person watching this episode will walk away and say "whatever".
Wasn't the show about living on bitcoin only? Or was it a documentary of learn everything about bitcoin? |

Maybe Maidsafe is not "it"? If it was the 'big thing' people would move towards it. I'm pretty sure he can allocate more resources than the Maidsafe team. Its not about resouces... satoshi was a single man with a great idea. Maidsafe team has reunited millions of dollars anyway, and I trust them more than Kim. Well, there's nothing wrong with competition, I guess the future is not one "decentralized Internet" but several, eventually we might see standards for this type of networks and they can all coexist so we can use any resource within any network without being restricted to a particular network. |
